Hello fellow Geocachers! GryffindorFerret, Karla the Kangaroo and I are in Maroochydore and surroundings! Hoping to snag some quick caches we set off, making it our mission to turn at least some of those green markers into happy little smiley faces. TFTC to TaxisVW, DrPam, and dickbev. Luckily it was a quick cache after a failed attemp at another cache. Off to the lookout! Good luck geocaching and we hope you have a good day HufflepuffCat8499, GryffindorFerret and Karla the Kangaroo signing off.Note: We hope to drop Karla off at a geocache in Maroochydore where she will hopefully find some nice new people to take her somewhere else!
Hello fellow cachers! HufflepuffCat8499 and I are in Maroochydore and surroundings and are attempting to bag some quick smiles on the map. We also have a trackable on board, Karla the Kangaroo. We are planning to drop her somewhere in a cache here. Today, while visiting the Glass House Mountains, we saw that a geocache was not far away and decided to try and log it. The cache is not actually a small Sistema container, rather a black bigger tube. The Sistema container is inside that. TFTC and cool clue! Happing hunting and have a good day! - GryffindorFerret (from Vic)
After staying in Caloundra for a couple of nights, we are now heading towards Lake Somerset to tackle the Dark side of the cache series. A detour to the Glass House Mountains lookout gave us the opportunity to pickup this cache. Thanks for the cache TaxisVW and DrPam.
Easy find. Nice cache to pick up on our holiday in Oz. Found a trackable as well, which we'll take with us to Europe.
Today we visited the Glass House Mountains in beautiful weather. Thanks for the cacheTeam sissifalke
Found while out and about in the area on the way back through to BNE. TNLNSLTFTCTTFNBeaker DGS
Whilst on a geoadventure that took me in a loop from Beerburrum, Glass House, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford and back to Beerburrum. Fortunately it was a quick find for me. Thanks for the cache TaxisVW and DrPam!
As we were driving past, I got Nathan to stop and pull over for this one. It was one I had been to before but had no luck, for some reason I found this one today very easily. I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. We grabbed the TB out of it and Nathan will move it along. Thanks for placing it here
Find 11 of 12 with no DNFs on another day of touristing, this time without the bikes, doing lots of walking. Started with a 10k loop around Maleny, then visits to Mary Cairncross, Gardner Falls, the Tibrogargan Loop Trail and a quick dash up Mount Coochin to finish.
A quick stop between volcanic plugs and a quick find.
TFTC dickbev!

Found with PapaGrouch. We were completing an Adventure Lab and stopped to find this one as we were driving past. I thought this one was going to be difficult but it turned out to be easy as I saw some likely camo straight away. TFTC
Today we got our rental car and went to Maryborough to visit Liz and Bruce. On our way we stopped at Glashouse Mountains and got some geocaches. This was one of them. Thanks for hiding this one and as always TFTC, MumDad2000
We headed up to the Glass House Mountains lookout today and thankfully managed a quick view of the mountains before the rain come in. After a bite to eat at The Lookout Cafe, we went for a bit of a drive around. This was a nice quick find during a break in the rain.
Thanks!!

Heading home from a morning biking/caching… stopped for lunch at the Lookout Cafe and thought would check if any we hadn’t found nearby. What a pleasant surprise…Hi Dick and Bev TFTC
Heading home after a day of caching in the area, we took a detour down this back road for a couple more caches. Parked nearby and headed to the GZ and soon spotted the cache. TNLNSL TFTC .
Beautiful drive this afternoon, every corner you turn shows a different aspect of the magnificent Glasshouse Mtns.

dickbev I found your cache Highway One - REDeX on 30/6/2022, 3:30 pm. This is my find 3672 and find # 26 today. Had CIH after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Having visited Mount Archer and found my primary target for the day, I’m winding my way back towards the Bruce collecting random caches along the way…
I’d like to say this was a quick find, but I managed to step over the cache… twice…

Alycem89 and I decided to venture out this afternoon to grab a few Earthcaches and several other caches on our travels. We couldn’t have picked a better day to do it either, it was a slightly cooler day with a touch of cloud cover to take the edge off the heat.
After parking the car at suitable spot we cautiously wandered over towards GZ while avoiding the ankle grabbing plants. After a brief search the cache was spotted. We retrieved it, popped it open and popped our names on the log.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Decided to head out for an afternoon of caching in the glass house region with Nayfee. Did a couple of other local caches before heading to find this one. Quick and easy fine. Log signed and placed back in its hiding space.

I love reading old logs and this one goes back a good few years now.
So many cachers stopping for a moment on their drives north or south.
It appears the batteries i saw and are in the picture, might even have been there pre-publishing.
Criminey.
A long time now in the bush.
Thanks dickbev for keeping this cache alive !
Slowly finding them all in this series.

Easter trip away with fitzy_1965 for the cacheQLD Dayboro Mega.
Decided to pack up and head north a day earlier as we were no longer dry in our tent. Teamed up with Albida33 and Smittengranny (signing as FAMS) to do the 65 Roses Geo-art and any others in-between before parting ways and caching our way to Maryborough where we will be based for three nights.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise stated.

24,416. Found with minniek on our Dayboro QLD MEGA Adventure trip.
Day 7. Enough was enough. We decided that we had had enough of the rain at Dayboro, so we upped stumps a day early and started our journey up to Maryborough via The Roses Geo-Art and a couple more counties. Smittengranny and albida joined us for the Geo-Art. So after packing up the sodden campsite we headed north to Kilcoy after a final trip to the Dayboro Bakery. After finishing the Roses we said our goodbyes and headed further north. This was the next stop for the day. This was a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks dickbev !!

Today, with the forecast of nice sunny weather, jesswrigley and I headed north to visit the Glass House Mountains. When I first moved to Brisbane back in 2010, my first weekend included a day trip to here and hiking Mt Tibrogargan summit, so it felt like a tribute in conducting the same excursion. Throughout the day, we followed the locations in *Mountains of Glass* Adventure Lab, and finished the day following the lookout visit with a lunch venue that had scenic views of the mountains.
We parked nearby to this cache, and once we found a route through the trees to GZ, it was a reasonably quick find. The cache container (inner and outer for that matter!) and logbook were in good shape. It is just a shame about someone's hard rubbish consisting of batteries nearby - surely one would have to be despearate at disposing rubbish in the bush, rather than simply taking it to the right place? Thanks TaxisVW and DrPam for the cache placement. and dickbev for its ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Nice, beware of the fence - you will need to climb over it. The cache rocks under stone and wood. Enjoy the Glasshouse mountains. It was empty when we found it, we had to reload it. People, don't hesitate to fill caches with stuff! The container was new and clean. Thanks!
Logged and Found as WallabyTim/KaleidoscopeCass or WallabyWanderers. Backing this up with our old account, Apologies if you receive multiple logs
Stopped for a quick find on this one on the way to the Agatha Christie mystery series. I realised later in the day that I had been signing some if not all caches with 18/01/21 when we were there on Sat 16th haha. TFTC

This one was a DNF for us after a good 1/2 hr search and 2 dead phones latter. Highly recommend that the CC comes by and checks this one out to confirm it is still the. The inspectorrexteam.
Did not find. Searched with the kids but it was super overgrown. Considering it hasn’t been found for a while we decided to move on.
Pulled up in a good parking area an followed the geotrail to find the cache nicely hidden away. A lovely drive around this area. TFTC
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC taxiVW and Dr Pham ¥293 . #1845 Finds.
