19th of 20 today with two of my Geokids, the twins this time, James as always and Jemma, who really took a shine today to doing "Swaps" for toys. they had a ball "Treasure Hunting" on the golden coast. Had me going for a bit, a little cache blindness late in the day. Got it in the end. TFTC.
The big downpour yesterday nearly flooded the park... but the cache was safe and dry. GAFF1 after playing fetch with the puppy from across the road Cheers from Sydney!

This was cache # 17 of 26 on day six of my QLD trip. A great spot to visit, i wondered if anyone ever uses that chess board. My thanks to hallfamily7 for the cache.
a nice walk to the cache - happily nobody was in the park (or gazebo) as one would feel a bit silly if there was.
Found on a Sunday afternoons geocaching with geodog. SL, TN, Left toy cowboy. TFTC

Not another sole in sight on such a nice day. Took spongebob sticker, left finger piper. SL TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1100. How unexpected to see a gazebo in such a setting. Would be perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Collected 'Varuna Generic Geocoin 2006'. Our thanks again to hallfamily7.
Had to be stealthy with this one as a bunch if teenagers were partying close by. Lucky for us they were not interested in our slight detour off track!
Just had to do a quick cache whilst in the area and this one looked good. A nice quick find in a very nice park. Dropped in Varuna Generic Geocoin to continue it's travels. TFTC
After having set up camp at Treasure Island Caravan Park, we took a small tour before it got dark.
We approached this cache from the wrong direction, but it only meant that we had to take a well needed walk.

There were muggles on the street but none in the area that I wanted to search.
Luckily I had a glimpse of colour as I walked past as the GPS was starting to give me a wander.
Took out the dog tag TB.

That was an easy find. Nice park, too. Lucky to have Mrs Lat&Long with me, as the two muggles who rode and walked past probably wondered what we were doing wandering about in there. TN/LN/SL
This is a nice park which I would like to see after a storm - I imagine there is a lot of water running through here. Cache found easily along with some pretty pink fungus Left the trackable for someone else TFTC
Nice spot. TFTC. I have grabbed the "Never Board" miniture snowboard trackable item and will find it a new home soon.
I have left a green Geocache arm band that I found yesterday.

Made a detour to get this one today, as this was our 3rd visit to this one. The last 2 visits were no-go's due to all the muggles in this popular area, and didnt even get out the car. But, today we were lucky as it was nice and quiet. So, we took no chances and made a quick cache and dash for this. Took Trackable. SL. TFTC.
A quick find by king jnr on holiday from Melbourne. Only other person around was a muggle having a smoko in the rotanda. As we drove in we commented on the adjoonong dominations side by side. Thanks for bringing us here. In: humani Swaggie.
Beautiful park here for geodogs and geocachers.

Nice hide in a good park. This one seems to be a good male alternative to shopping at Habourtown. Thanks for the diversion.
Found this one easily at 1730 hours. Had a little car to place in the cache but found a turbo charged vehicle already in place. TNLN. Did not need to CITO because this is a very well cared for park. Good little cache.

Fourth find for me in Queensland. At the Gold Coast for the National Christian Schools Basketball Championships, in which my son competed (and won!) representing South Australia. We were literally staying 50 metres from this cache. Looked last night in the dark without success, but found this morning.
Retrieved Kindness Ducky TB to travel back to South Australia with me.

Nice hide Hallfamily7. Took me a little while. I looked all around it's hiding spot - just not in the right location. I finally found it thank goodness. Quiet day there, not many muggles so had no trouble with them. SL. Took Esme's Cache Invader TB and World Diabetes Day Geocoin. Left Kindness Ducky TB to pass around the kind deeds, and a pack of playing cards - just fitted.
Found it! A nice easy find in a very nice park. Left Big Ben Geocoin. SL TFTC

Noticed this cache while I was doing business in the industrial area (Demand Avenue) to the west of it and luckily, there happened to be an footpath into the park from it.
Excellent park with a boardwalk in the trees. Quick find and off I went. No shortage of swaps for the Geo kids.....

On Holidays from Adelaide. Found at 2pm. Had a big shiny smile on my dial with this one.Took Soccerball whistle, left Dinosaur. Mum and small child were playing in the playground and a couple of schoolies walked by - Pretending to take photos of trees made me just look odd rather than creepy in the bushes! Took Soccerball whistle, left Dinosaur. Thanks again, hallfamily7.
After finding 'gary' just up the bike track a bit I headed eastward to find his nemesis, Squidward
As I squished across the seagrass toward GZ I noticed a sponsor's sign on the pavillion nearby that made smile.
This cache chase now had a ring of confidence about it
After leaning the bicycle against a nearby tree, I headed for the nearest bit of dead wood and didn't find a cache [:o]
Could this be the work of 'Plankton' ? [:o]
I consulted with the GPS to be sure and it insisted that I wasn't at GZ yet
The next place I looked I had much better luck and soon had me tentacles on Squidward's cache

Looked for today but didn't find cache, found a spongebob sticker on the ground at GZ,maybe it has been muggled??There were lots of empty alcohol bottles all around.
This one was difficult to find, GPS coverage at GZ very poor.
Took me about 20 minutes to find. Muggle Council Worker in the park trimming trees. I grabbed my camera gear and pretended to take photos up close of the trees. He did not suspect a thing.

Nice quick find for Silver Sovereign and I on the way to Sea World today. The park had a very large wet patch through the middle but, we managed to navigate our way around.
Only a couple of dog walking muggles around this morning and they were nowhere near GZ so we had planty of time to conduct the hunt. Firtunately, we didn't need it... [^]
Cheers.
