What a cache this one has been!
With almost 200 finds its time to send it to cache heaven. The logbook was an entertaining read, I think some muggles may have had it here and there, but nothing nasty.
While on the topic of the logbook, it is almost about to grow legs and walk off its that mouldy!
This was one of our earlier caches that we first placed, so we hope bigger and better caches in the future.
Thanks to all the people that found it over the 1650 days that it has been active!
And as always:
'Don't forget to bring a pen'

Today's caching run with Square_Pegs, Gazac and Two_Drew's started just before sunrise on a cold overcast Saturday. With the team assembled and the car fueled we headed westward with a list of caches we were keen to find.
Ah, bring a pen indeed! Somehow during the day I lost my favourite pen...so this is a timely find. Thanks Team PacketStorm.

Between the four of us we managed to bring a pen, so we were pleased to find the hide and sign the log. With the rain starting to pour down on us we had no issues with muggles. Thanks for the cache.
the find needed to be made in a hurry here, the rain was beginning to pelt down. The cache was soon spotted and recovered and a quick signing was made so the container could go back into its dry safety.
Grabbed TB to add a few more miles to it's journey.

Find #1394 @ 1510
Found with ABL973, Square_pegs and GazaC. This was found while in the Geelong area for a big day of caching. Yep, I brought my pen, a Uniball Powertank. Writes on damp paper and also writes upside down, I think it's the perfect caching pen. Thanks for the hide Team PacketStorm.

Quick grab while waiting for junior footy to start. Log is pretty wet. TFTC TNLN SL
My sincere apologies to all cache owners for what I am about to do. Unfortunately, I have been unable to keep up with my logs for the past 5 months or so, meaning that it is becoming very impractical for everybody involved. Over the these last few months I have certainly found some fantastic caches showing off both the beautiful areas around the world, and the ingenious minds of cachers alike. I haven't had the greatast find rate over the past few months, but that is also due to the same reason I have fallen behind in my logs. I would like to thank all cache owners for their wonderful contribution to the caching community, and again I sincerely apologise for the generic logs.
Thanks for this cache Team PacketStorm

Cache is wet inside and logbook is mouldy. No tradables inside except a big rock, so was a good thing we did bring a pen! Dried inside out and left a dehydration satchet to try help with damp in mean time.
Was on a bit of wild goose chase on this one for awhile. GPS was wandering a bit and I thought if I started bashing around in dark with a torch might get police descending on us at this time of night. GPS finally sorted itself out and went in for a stealthy search. Next time I will bring geopooch to help hide activities. Unfortunately no pens inside cache, just a rock and a mouldy log. Did best to dry cache out and traded rock for a cute puzzle eraser. TFTC:)

Wrong time of day for this one - getting dark, freezing cold, spitting rain and dog-walking muggles everywhere. Then to top it all off, the neighbours came out the front to farewell Nanna who must have come over for Sunday lunch.
Will add this to our "try again" list.
Thanks Team PacketStorm

I had a muggle in his front yard staring at me so will have to come back at some stage
Good spot for a cache! Not even a k away from home. Cheers. Pretty easy find. Not instant. Love a BIT of a hunt at least! Found in pitch black with my partner.
This Labor Day long weekend marked a camping trip to Geelong for a gallivant around the countryside picking up a number of caches (69 to be exact). Unfortunately we couldn’t foresee the weather and with temperatures soaring into the high thirties, caching took a back seat between 11am and 8pm. This did provide us with an opportunity to rest up and do some night caching around the areas.
After setting up the tent and camp site after a gruelling 3 hour trip from Endeavour Hills to Geelong on Friday, we grabbed a bite to eat, then hit the road for a couple of hours grabbing a few caches around the Belmont area, even seeing a guy night flying an electric aeroplane, all lit up with LED’s looking like a UFO.
Saturday saw us caching out onto the Bellarine Peninsular towards Leopold in the morning before seeking refuge back at the caravan park pool, before once again venturing further out to Drysdale into the wee hours of the morn.
After a sleep in on Sunday, we made our way to the Steampacket Gardens to have a look around, also grabbing a couple of caches before heading to Melbourne to see the Storm play their first game. After a great dinner in Victoria St, we took the opportunity to have a great caching run winding from Laverton to Eynesbury across to Balliang then back down to Geelong once again finishing up around 2am.
Parking nearby and realising the late hour, we made our way quietly to GZ. After waiting for the GPSr's to settle Katy made the quick find. Log was signed and we were on our way.
We want to thank the CO’s for placing the caches, we had a blast finding such a variety of different hides.

This was a great hide. Took a while to locate it. Then dropped my car keys on the process and the hunt was on again - took longer to find my keys. TFTC
72# I found this with my girlfriend and brother
at like midnight we had this old lady watching us as we started our search it was creepy so we came back later and found it

Dropped past this cache today to check that all was in order.
Safe to say that everything is all good, Make sure you replace the cache behind the Steel structure if your arms can reach!
Seems like some pens have gone walk abouts...... hehe, will need to get down one day and put some more in there.
This cache is all good to go!
Have fun!

Found on day 14 of our cache a day every day in December self imposed challenge. Didn't take anything, but still plenty of pens. TFTC
Found previously but down this way with geokids who love the new playground that has just been built nearby. Picked up TB - no barking dog tonight!
Had an interesting time finding this cache for soon after we found it a black dog appeared and starting barking at us. Quickly SL Took TB and LTB. Went round the corner to find the owner of the dog working in his garden and we had a lovely chat about the amazing amount of flowers nearby. It turned out that he had planted them but as he was getting older he wanted the Council to send someone to help maintain the garden he had created there. Had a lovely chat and pat with Sooty the dog before leaving the area. By the way there are still plenty of pens in the cache!
[^] TFTC Team PacketStorm and for bringing us to this lovely area.

We found this one late in the evening. Initially we were overwhelmed by the potential hiding spots but as the GPS settled it became clear where the cache was. TNLN TFTC

Kept the walk going, and located this cache @ 17:15. Thanks to the note by roverman88, we took a new plastic bag with us - and were happy to replace the ripped one at the cache with a newbie. All good to go!
Signed log, left killer dolphin, took nothing. No muggles around, and cache returned to where found. Great hide. Lovely sunny evening. Thanks for another cache, Team PacketStorm. Cheers!

No contraband today and no need to take a pen as we came prepared! So that it what I can do with all the spare pens I find at home?!
Lost my good pen, so had to go and do this one!!!! Picked up a pen, and also removed something else that should not have been in there!!
It had been raining heavily before I went looking for this cache which made diving in the undergrowth unpleasant - but I got it

Found and enjoyed the walk around the area. No muggles playing footy when I was looking.
We weren't too sure about this one, we didn't park at the closest spot, due to our unfamiliarity with Geelong. A quick walk, however, led us to gz, where after a short search the cache was turned up. TFTC, TNLN.
Maitainance Done. Wow this area has changed alot since the cache was first placed. Cache suffered cache creep please ensure cache is covered. Does anyone know a Seth Arnott, if so please get him to contact me.
Didn't seem to be any muggles around so it was an easy grab. The log book was damp.. Unfortunately I didn't have any zip lock bags on me. Took some nerdy figurine and left A stretchy lizard. xxox
waited for local muggles to leave and then after a short search cache was in hand.
6th find of the day, and 3036th total find at 2:39:00 PM.
We were just about to give up on this one, and had actually gone back to the car when we realised the GPS was still in "on road" mode & not Geocaching mode. After returning to GZ the cache was quickly retrieved.
Unfortunately our return trip also attracted the attention of the elderly gentleman across the road, so we invited him to have a look while we filled out the log. We explained our hobby and he went home having learned something new today.
(THE LOG BOOK IS A LITTLE DAMP, SO SOME TLC IS NEEDED.)
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
Thanks PacketStorm4 for the cache

Second strike for the afternoon. Spent some time having a good look around but no joy. Another time perhaps.
Spent a couple of minutes searching but much longer dodging the very sharp-eyed, retired muggles who live in the area. An easy find, but a much trickier return of the cache to its home! TFTC TNLN SL

Had we read the notes carefully we would have had different eyes on today. Sorry we could not add to the collection! Now off to the complex for some retail therapy.

Found @ 4:00pm, find # 838.
A day out in Geelong, time to find a few caches.
We arrived at the track down to GZ and went for a walk (about 170m) and when we got there we realized we could of driven alot closer, anyway we waited for a dog walking muggle to clear the area and went in for a quick find. This one is certainly not short of a pen.
Took : TB Kangaroo Jack.

Came and made the easy find. Like the pen idea. Whilst wandering back to the car noticed a 4wd going a bit cross country - when they hopped out, noticed that they had a gps and were heading towards gz. Stopped and had a chat to MichaelEfanow and found out that they are new to the world of geocaching. Had a bit more of an enjoyable chat and then wandered off to find our #600. Thanks for the hide and always lovely to meet other cachers on our travels. TNLNSL
Quiet here this time in the park so managed to log the find. Even found a pen that worked. TFTC.
4123. [font=Book Antiqua][green]As I parked a footballer looked like he was escaping from training as he sprinted down the steps and up the street. Grabbed the cache and logged it while listening to the nostalgic training sounds. Ahhh. As I headed back to the car after replacing the cache, the escapee was returning to the fray. I wonder if the ground toilets were locked and he'd run home?

One of 37 found on another night caching run with my good mate Marty (Quasar3671) in the Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula area. Great concept on the contents. Second last for the night and made a quick find after a muggle lady and her dog walked on. TFTC.
One of 37 finds for the night with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy) during our 2nd Geelong night cache run. We were now making our way back through Geelong and getting ready to head back to base - Ivanhoe. Had a few muggles walking dogs as we approached GZ, so we waited till they passed before hunting for and locating the cache. I'm always losing pens while out caching too. Thanks for the hide.
TNLN....first find using my Forerunner 201 instead of Magellan Platinum while out running. works a treat.
Found with the Mahersters. Took little rubber ball, left tissues (packet unopened).TFTC.
pulled up infront of a house with an elderly muggle tending his garden. After a quick chat and a short search wombatjo and i had the cache in hand. Didnt need a pen today so left a chipmonk instead. SL TFTH
