Cache definitely not there. Was also damaging the natural environment due to being drilled into tree.
I believe in the disruption to the site the cache has been removed. See picture attached.
Didn't find, however found what I'm confident is where it was meant to be attached with genyo.
No joy, looks like there has been a bit of work done around GZ recently though.
Couldn't find this one in the dark. Found a really interesting tree and a gecko but no snakes on a cold winter's night.
Found it went past it then walk back a found it

Decided to do a quick cache after work on the pushy. Not such a smart idea after all......terrain=5 on pushy. Need a motor to get up some of these hills. Thanks for the workout (and the cache)!!!
Found our first cache! and in the dark too! Found by the youngest member of our family.
Needs a new log book!

Found it after a maddeningly long look. I thought it must have been moved, but just have a little walk along the path, turn around a few times, you don't need to go into the trees. You can walk past it many times without seeing it, so just walk up and down with your eyes open.
2nd for tonight on a walk around the area. Cache just jumped out at me in the torchlight, so an easy find. TFTC super geo.
This was one of three I found on a little walk around my area Good Fun
My last day in Brisbane before heading home so time to head out and find a few caches. Took me longer to find than it should have done because I refused to look in the right direction. When I did the cache stood out like.... well you know... Talk about hidden in plain sight!! Nice one!! A favourite for such a bold placement. TFTC, Biggles.
That was a very easy one. We came into the park and found it straight away. Thx for hiding this one.
first find of our geothon#isthisthestartofsomethingnewitfeelssorighttobeherewithyou
A quick look at the trees and the cache was in plain sight. All is sage and secure with this one, the log book is damp - but its still able to be written on. TFTC
A lovely cache in a great little area that we didn't know existed. Some beautiful homes around the area, and a lovely view whilst finding the cache. Geoson #1 found this one and was very proud of himself. Thank you!
Log is quite damp, and we signed on the last page of the book. We dried out the container and left the logbook in the sun for a few minutes whilst the kids played, but we had to leave so the book remains damp. Could probably do with a replacement one soon.

Found it open on the ground. Log book was too wet to write in and unfortunately we didn't bring paper with us today.
We put the cache back in its place but there is no cover left.
Still had a good time with geokids looking for the snake

Second reptile find for the morning. I think that a lot of foliage might have been removed from here recently as i managed to spot this one from quite some distance away. Nice little spot.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The cache needs a new log book ASAP, as there are only about three spots left!

Found after doing orienteering in nearby Banks St Reserve. Thankfully, unlike "Gecko's Home", we didn't find this cache's namesake! The cache was in good condition, however needs a new log book ASAP, as there are only about three spots left! Found with Faust1806.

All dry,Good one ...was a bit doubtfull about the name after seeing one today ...but NO none there ...TFTC
How did we walk past this one? I never thought to look for something that obvious. Thanks for the adventure.
Went for a long walk waiting for Geokid to finish some training, found with Nitram67. TFTC.
Snake's Home really lived up to it's name today.
After a trip to Alderly for an errand the geokids and I thought we would grab a cache or two on the way home. This one was a fun find in a little, out of the way park. In the lead up to summer the grass at the GZ has been cleared to reduce the risk of fire. Still a fun cache to spot.
As we were walking back up the the little playground I was just about to send geo boy to climb the great looking tree when we noticed 2 Butcherbirds behaving erratically. They were up in the tree being chased off by (what was most likely) a 1m+ common tree snake. It provided 5 minutes of great entertainment as the snake and the birds faced each other off and the snake chased the birds from branch to branch. I didn't take a pic as the iPhone was almost flat and wouldn't have had the zoom to capture a snake up in the branches anyway.
It is the large tree by the pagoda. It looks like it would make great climbing and I was about to suggest as much to geoboy while the little geosisters played on the slide, but then we saw the snake. We had fun watching but the geokids didn't feel like scratching around for any more caches after a snake sighting.

97th cache I've found.
Found it at 12:57 PM. Decided to take this one too while nearby. What a hide! Had a big grin when finally found it. Picked up GC.

So obvious yet easily missed. The Geokids just couldn't see it, until I pointed it out. Left CF30 Trackable.

Found with Pilchers on our lunchtime mission. Accidentally took bottle opener swag, leaving nothing, but dropped it in nearby cache. Oops! TFTC!
We looked and looked and then looked! and wondered why we didn't see it within the first 5 seconds of arriving . Found with esixtyone during lunch break. TFTC
Short trip to Brisbane, Australia. Found a few minutes to get in a couple caches unexpectedly. Had to search extra because the GPS was not functioning but worth the find. Thanks
After finding gecko's home, just had to find this one too. Went for a walk around the corner from the home of the gecko and it didn't take too long to find this one. I was in a bit of a rush and the clue made it even easier. TFTC super geo!
after checking some suspiclous branches we realised we were nowhere near it. after scaning the area we found where we needed to go. great easy task! TFTC
Still in the area killing some time and grabbing some caches. This one was next and after parking on the nearby hill, I fisted my gPSr and pen and headed into the park. Nobody in the park but a neighbour was watching me. She soon disappeared and I continued to GZ. Nothing leapt out at me for the hide so had a gander at the cache page. When I was at GZ I easily spotted it and had a chuckle. In over 4000 finds I've never found one quite like that before. I know of some folk who would hate it, apparently sympathising with the tree but I was more impressed that it has evidently never been muggled. I added my name to the logbook and rehid all as it was. An odd one but a good one. TFTC super_geo
Talk about easy to spot! It's a wonder it has survived so long. I see EngPhil and Palopinto were FTF along with Miss Geosie in the days before Susie joined the team. Thanks for a quick find.
A great long weekend walk introducing the cousins to Geocaching. This was our second of seven caches for the morning. We had certainly earned our lunch!! Geokids spotted it easily.
Searched around GZ for quite a while with no luck, but eventually Jenn looked over to where I was, and saw it nice cache - never seen one of these attached in such a way before
I've attached the coordinates of where I found the cache today - it as about 6 metres away from where GPS was pointing me.

Find #530 .
Got to GZ and searched around with no luck. Looked at the hint and searched some more with no luck. We eventually split up and extended our search. After a while I decided to look up and see where Matt was ... and looked right at the cache . All is good with the cache . Picked up Diane the DynaBolt & Polly the Padlock trackables to move along . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH super geo .

On holiday from Adelaide and out with daughter and decided to find a couple of caches while waiting. Walked through park and found GZ and cache in plain sight. No snakes or any other creepy crawlies. Thanks for the cache super geo.
There should be a log type of "finally! Found it" cos this took far longer than it should. I was extra determined as this one cost me a dent in my car door. I was giving way when a car exiting the driveway didn't see me and reversed into me. Put in two TBugs. Nice hide. Clever.
Did not see any snakes today but this is almost one of the most obvious out in the open plain sight hides I have seen yet.

Easy find, great park. No trackable as stated on the cache details.
Caution: Lots of broken glass near GZ. Geokids beware.

Found it! Unfortunately no TB.
Might want to bring your own pen (or pencil sharpener) and the pencil in cache has no point

Parked nearby and walked into the park with the mooselings to find this cache. We immediately passed a discarded syringe at the entrance and had a good discussion on the way to the cache about the choices that people make etc and what the syringes are used for. The 10 yr old asked why would someone leave something so dangerous out in the open. A good question... Anyhoo, we made our way to the cache and found the said unusual branch. I was hoping to find the "lucky" TB inside, but it wasn't there. Maybe the previous cacher has not logged their find??? tftc super geo, have not been around this area for a long time.
Out on a night caching raid with egginthesky, didn't take us long to find the cache. Signed the logbook and replaced as found.

A nice easy to find cache. Almost thought I came across a second cache when I first entered the park! TFTC

Took much longer than it should have to get this find. Sometimes the obvious is the hardest to spot. The undergrowth here is not what it may have been and the cache is pretty much out in the open. All is safe and secure. TFTC super geo
The grass seems to need cutting in all the parks as the recent rain has sparked mass growing.
Soon at GZ and the cache in hand.
No creepy crawlies today although I am always on the lookout for them.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks super geo All good with this cache

Wow, the cache is there in plain sight, but most likely no one will notice, because it is just to unexpected?!

5/01/13 Find #969
The GPS was way off base today, and I found myself trying to remove a plastic container that was very well embedded by some tree roots, much to the amusement of the local bush turkey that came over to see what I was doing (I presume it was chuckling at me anyway).
I returned to my GPS which had now decided that I was some distance away from GZ, and headed off towards the newly decided coordinate. The cache was visible from some distance away, and was easily located. (I can only assume that the bushes where the cache is located used to be a lot thicker than what it is at the moment.
The log was extracted, signed and returned before heading off again.
Thanks for the cache super geo.

No grass here today. No sign of any snakes as well. The container was clearly visible from a long way out. TFTC SuperGeo

After another unsuccessful attempt at Geckos home this was found with ease. The vegetation around is now in it winter clothes so quite exposed. Took smilie geo coin.
Found with Jacqui and Laura @ 2am on Halloween in the rain! Easy find! Left new TB! Awesome night! TFTC!
I must say this was a high point I felt on top of the world nice view, I was looking looking looking and about to say where is it then turned around and had a good laugh TFTC
Came by on the way home to find this one with geoson and brownsnakemob. Geoson found this one quite quickly. Nice park, hadn't been up here for years.
