Could not find it for the life of us. Several people havent been able to find it so maybe it hasnt been placed back? Or not looking hard enough.
Day 3 of the KiwiFruitsNZ/Vamber road trip saw us head back to Auckland, picking up some more lonely caches and some D/T combinations to help us with our GIO License requirements.
This was our first DNF for the day. Previous logger had also not found it so didn't spend too long in the rain looking.

The last day of our trip down to Taranaki with KiwifruitsNZ, saw us heading on our way back home to Auckland, picking up some solved puzzles and lonely caches on the way to meet the requirements for the GIO Licence series.
We found the offending rubbish bag mentioned by the previous logger, but no cache....

Intended to grab this one on the way to Rotorua for a long weekend break. Been here many times BCE (Before Caching Era). Unfortunately not to be found today. Did find a rubbish bag with a woman's adult toy inside. Battery compartment full of water, but toy still operative, lol. Not sure whether to CITO or put in GZ tree. So funny.
Haven't been caching in ages, so decided to take advantage of a 'mini' break away. Too many muggles on our first stop here, so after 20 mins or so drove on for a while and on the way back was a quick and easy find having the place to ourselves
Such a glorious scenic view today, every muggle is coming in! Abandoned the search as there are only so many ways to look nonchalant
I logged that i gave up cos too many people about - and then they left! So did find it after all
[late log: found on 17/3/14]
Nice easy park and grab. Muggles around so had to find stealthily!

Finally stopped to grab this one today... Beautiful day to take a drive north... TNLN TFTC
After the Womad and our stay in New Plymouth, Karapo88 joined us for a week end in the surroundings of the mount taranaki. We explored the East and South entrances. Very nices walks over there. Then, we picked our car in New Plymouth and went to the way to Hamilton. During the way, we decided to stop on this rest area to enjoy the view and find the cache. That was a nice moment. Then, we went until otorohanga, where we splitted.
Thanks for the cache.

A big thank you to all the geocache owners for being our “tour guides” in New Zealand while we are on our short holiday visit to this extraordinarily beautiful country! We traveled the North Island in our little camper van and we came across minimal damaged caches and we only had very few DNF’s.
"Groete" all the way from South Africa!

We had a nice stop here on our way from Palmerston North to Te Kuiti. Weather was perfect: sun was shining and the Tasman Sea was calm. And loved those curious young cows! TFTC & greetings from Finland!
Heading north with a slight diversion (Wellington to Hamilton) via New Plymouth looking for caches that are further than two km's from there neighbour, quickly located and off again
Always enjoy the view from here

Stopped off while it was drizzling. Talked with a motorhome owner as he had parked within 10m of the GZ and didn't look like moving anytime soon.
Out: TB.
Cheers for the cache.

Just realised that we didn't log this last year when going to Taranaki. Better late than never.
We slept on this parking during our roadtrip and searched the cache this morning after a windy night.

I had just said to the navigator "check the GPS, there's a cache around here somewhere" when it beeped and she said "that was it back there." Managed to pull into the exit and back track to the rough area. Signed the log, and dropped off a travel bug.
What a lovely spot, thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.

Going to New Plymouth for 3 days, I've been in the car for 3 hours and I need a leg stretch! Perfect, there's a cache in a rest area, I manage to park the car in the line of sight of muggles and retreive the cache. -Gc, -TB, +GC TFTC
1.10pm. Great views with a very rough sea today. An easy find. A favourite point for the views.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
With both Z-masterNZ and I on leave from work, what better way to spend our time than heading down country and getting a few caches from out of town. The plan was to head for New Plymouth as I have never been there before and wanted to see some of the sights. The plan changed and we ended up in Wanganui, before carrying on to Wellington.
No-one was around when we stopped by to pick this one up. Lovely and quiet and a nice easy find.

as my written English is very bad, I hope that I can get a good sense rather than using google translated from Danish to English, I expect our online time is short, so hope you even want to do it ... thank you
På vores vej syd over gjorde vi et hurtig stop her, for at se der er sne på toppen :0)

A brief and thankful stop. A strange muggle car was parked near GZ but we used the rain as cover for our activities. t4tc
It was a nice experience to have found this Cache as part of our New Zealand vacation.

We made it through the mountains and to the coast!! Told the crew in the car this would be a good place to stop for a stretch... Fraggles knew better, and looked at the GPS to see where the nearest cache was. About 20 metres away... TFTC
