Likewise, we visited because this cache was still active. If the container isn't there, then either archive it, or mark it as temporarily unavailable until it can be replaced. Cheers Gav
Nothing more frustrating than looking for a cache that is not there.
If you have a cache that is not in place it needs to be marked unavailable. Many people do not read the cache description until they have searched for a while.
Please make this cache unavailable until you replace it.

No cache there anywhere........We actually though it was active....cache description says not, or so we thought, so not sure either way now. Confused......me too!!
Will be back in town another day, so hopefully all will be right by then.
Thanks anyway.

16:38 Good to see people still placing largish sized containers in built up areas. Unfortunately I imagine this one will be a real target for muggles searchers are in plain view of passing motorists and nearby houses, it'd be hard to grab it without being noticed most of the time. Hopefully I managed OK. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache and views, never been up here before.

What a wonderful find. We pulled up at GZ got out of the car and walked over to grab the cache only to find nothing. As we were returning back to the car to log a not found this wonderful lady pulled up hoped out of her car and said I have what you are looking for. She raced off inside the house next to GZ and returned with cache in hand. I think she was a little shocked to see people actually looking for these things and continued to explain it was her sons cache and her daughter had found it on the other side of the road..Those muggles why don't they just leave things alone.. It is great to see people still care...Top view...
Very quick find in this audatious hide. Thanks Cache Scout. Good night views from here!!!

After a visit to Obelisk, found this one pretty easily too. Felt a bit exposed though, and making a bit of noise retrieving the container didn't help!
Left Ballons coin, took the bottle opener. TFTC

[Nice Cache, great view. Walked right past it,] I didn't realise there was something under the plank. [Highly recommended.]
Found it No. 1465 ... a big one for a small hole ... Took Geocoin and left Chinese Coins
Great location, with a bit of thought required to find cache. took tape measure and left cock screw/bottle opener
Found at 10:25.
A very surprising location for a hide. It's not that I have never seen a cache hidden in such a structure before - just not such a large one, and in such a public place. Immediately spottable if you are looking there, but the location also works for it because it's unlikely that muggles will be looking there...
Love the view

Different sort of hide. Geocoin still inside, couldn't assist with the trip to Adelaide so I left it there. TFTC
Nice spot, good view! Was thinking it was in the park at first. Liked the trinkets, did not take anything though.

Found with the Woody5 on a morning out geocaching in Newcastle. Left a geocoin that wants to go to Adelaide.

A quick find. I took it back to the car to write the log. Bad move.
The bloke up the hill came out to water the lawn (obviously no water restrictions in Newcastle- it was 9:55am). Next his neighbor came out for a s l o w chat.
I was stuffed. I could not return the cache.
I came back a few hours later and snuck it back - no one was around.
Easy Peezy.
Clear skies and our thanx to the cache scout from TeamAstro.
Strange place for a cache bu a good view of the city Took Isle of Royale GC TFTC and greetings from the UK
This cache was included as part of my weekend trip to Newcastle. It turned out to be a quick find in a nice, suburban location. TNLNSL. T4TC.

Found 12:50. Felt very exposed doing this one. Lucky I parked car nearby so was able to conduct caching duties in the car. Took Scout key ring, left Tape Measure.
I have a few bookcrossing hides like this.

First ever find for Scott - he went straight to it after decrypting the clue. Great view - not sure what all the neighbours thought we were up to! Left Rosie's Symbology Geocoin.

An ingenious location for a cache. Very easy to find when you're looking for it, but not so easy that it'll be muggled too soon.
Thanks Cache Scout.
took nothing, left a self portrait by my 3yo daughter on the page of the log book.

Felt very exposed finding this one but no muggles were visable. The cache was easy to find and the contents were interesting although I took nothing and left nothing.
I enjoyed the views from the top of the reserve while having lunch.
