Very fun walk around the lake to find all the animals.Times have changed so the cache is not as originally described but still very much attainable and able to be logged. #26

In Western Springs today, hoping the weather holds for cache. Very busy Nd noisy around the lake today, lots of people having a walk, kids playing and music blasting out over the whole park. Seems I wasn't the only one hedging their bets for no rain. This was a nice walk around the lake, and a fun Wherigo to do, it was my second attempt at this one, as last time I tried it I couldn't get locations to trigger. This time it worked perfectly. Thanks for the cache, and the wherigo. #1701
Found at 7.11am with 0B80B8 and Yvettetb. We were down to collect a well planned and very specific list of caches to get as many add-ons as we could for our Project GC badges. I'll have to wait a while to get some as I don't have a lot of regular or large sized caches. It's a bit disappointing that there isn't 11 types to collect in Auckland. Anyway, we had a fun and very sucessful day.We came down last night because our main route through the Brenderwyns is closed for maintenance. Mum has an apartment in Parnell so that was a very handy starting point for todays outing. We changed plans slightly on the day to grab an ftf first thing. This was a nice little walk to find the hide. Luckily one of the team could do this on their phone. I'm sure my problem is user error. Thanks for the wherigo cache
Down from Whangarei with Lis's crew & yvettetb on a Leap Day mission to get all available cache types and sizes in one day. As it turned out, we managed to achieve our goal and bookend it with FTF's to start and finish the day, with a few more along the way as a real bonus.A little bit of a glitch getting the cartridge going, but after that, it worked well and before long we had a set of coords for the final. Pleased to see there was a bit of cover at GZ, where the cache was quickly found. TFTC
In Auckland this morning for Leap Day to get the various Project GC badge add-ons. We popped down to Auckland last night due to the Brynderwyns being closed so we could make the most of our Annual Leave day.Great little hide and the traffic wasn't too bad. TFGC. Found with Lis's Crew and 0B80B8.
My hubby and I (from Brisbane) have just returned from 9 days on Stewart Island and are now spending a few days in Auckland visiting our family. We often visit the zoo with my grandson. Last time I was here, in November, part of the lakeside area was fenced off so I couldnt complete the Wherigo which was very disappointing. When I arrived this morning, everything was clear and I was able to finish it off. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed showing my almost 4yo grandson the animals that I rescued. At gz, it was an easy find with the help of the hint but I found the cache uncovered so added a bit of cover to keep safe from muggles after signing. Everything worked well and I enjoyed the fun Wherigo so a fp. Tftc
**XX** MMMMMMMDCCLIX: Out and about on our first full day in Auckland. Beautiful park and a fun Wherigo adventure. TFTC
#11004:Having just visited the zoo, I thought it'd be fun to give this Wherigo an attempt. The app is incredibly glitchy and crashes a lot, but I managed to make it to the end after having to restart only once this time...I thought it'd be a tricky find at the end, but my instinct lead me straight to it. TFTC.
Unfortunately I couldnt finish as half of the lakeside is closed off. Hopefully next time Im back in Auckland.
Bem Haja.
I'm visiting New Zealand for a tour around the country . The first place I'm staying at is Auckland. While enjoying the sightseeing I also visit some caches. This is one of them. Thank you for showing me the place and thank you for the cache . Greetings from Switzerland .
At the moment it is a bit difficult to play the WIG. After starting the cartridge I had to walk all around the lake to get to the first stage. Some pathways are closed due to working on them.

Greetings from Brisbane Aust. Visiting the northern end of the land of the long white cloud with Gcoven and JACS Team and this is our first day caching after an early morning arrival (very little sleep).
Whilst in the zoo precinct, tidied up a few caches before heading on the road. Always enjoy an interesting WIG. Thanks Zork V and the other local cachers for the opportunity to cache in NZ.

Day 2: We ( TeamARF, Gcoven and myself) have travelled over from Brisbane, Australia to have a visit since we were not able to make it to the Mega. We have spent some considerable time solving puzzles and making plans in preparation.
Today the plan is to work on completing a challenge we have set for ourselves, attend our early morning event. I’m taking part in a parkrun and then doing some general caching in the CBD and further north to our next accommodation. We have a gigantic list of old, interesting, highly favourited, challenges and a few Geo-arts to try and collect over the next 10 days. There is a good chance we got lazy with our logging and do some joint variation of our initials - TGJ, GJT or JGT.
Please excuse the generic log, just have extremely little data to try and survive on it for the 10 days. However, you can be assured that if we have found your cache it was special to us for some reason or in a special location - so thank you for contributing to our holiday.
I will edit logs when back in Brisbane to add more details to those that need more details and of course I will be adding favourite points as I go along.

Second day in the land of the long white cloud. TeamARF JACSTeam and myself heading on an adventure! Much fun had today . Had the chance to meet some fab local cachers at an event then after grabbing a few more around the Auckland CBD , we headed north. A cute letter box and signed a few challenges to work on. Thanks for the amazing array of caches . Had to make way for the park runners!
Greetings from BC, Canada.
Touring New Zealand with my family. Which includes BeesKnees34, SOB_4M and AlexBN16. We have been enjoying the beautiful landscape and visiting some awesome locations.
Stopping along the way to grab some cool caches. We targeted high favourite, old caches, different cache types and some other caches along our routes.
This was a fun Wherigo, that I enjoyed doing with my adult kids after our zoo visit. I enjoyed walking around the lake.
Gets a favourite from me.
Thanks Zork V for the fun Wherigo cache!

spent 6 great weeks in New Zealand with my The start was a bit bumpy (Cyclone Gabrielle) but then it got better and better. We travelled to both islands and discovered a lot. We photographed and filmed many beautiful things, but most of it stayed in our hearts.
Almost everywhere we stopped, a cache was already waiting for us. Most of the caches are well maintained and easy to find.
With mostly very nice weather, we saw a lot of this impressive island. In many places, caches were waiting for us, which were sometimes easy and sometimes difficult to find. This cache was also included and was successfully signed
We puzzled a lot in advance and the tours were well prepared
So this box was also well found.
now I have another on my personal cache card.
many thanks to [^] **Zork V** [^] for the effort and the cache

M24: after watching our little sisters rugby game, me and m13 decided to do this Whereigo. The animals were found, and so was the cache, log in good condition too.
That makes it our 2nd Whereigo that we have completed. Nice and easy and fun.

Up in Auckland for the Mega and visiting our daughter. Today we are hoping to collect 8 different cache types. Started off with the nearby Letterbox, traditional and mystery. Now a wherigo- nice walk round the park! Thanks for the smiley.
That makes 9 types of caches found today after the Mega event. Just have to complete the nearby virtual to make it 10 and be my new PB. Great walk around the park and got to enjoy a concert going on next door too. Favourite point from me.
Travelled up from Dunedin for my first Mega event and wanting to sign off some geotour caches as well in Auckland and Northland.
Thanks for the cache, Zork V

A quiet boxing day. So got some help down loading the werigo app.
A lot more success this time.
Headed towards the springs for my
No 2. Werigo.
A nice walk around the lake.

Our very first Wherigo. Decided to see what it was about. Managed to rescue the animals and get our reward. We had fun guessing which animal we might be about to rescue. Not sure we ever guessed right.Final is very well hidden but again luck seemed to be on our side today.
After finishing work this morning I thought it would be nice to go have a picnic in Western Springs. Apparently a lot of other people had the same idea, which was nice to see. I enjoyed wandering around the lake finding the lost animals, and since this is only my second Wherigo, it was a bit of a learning experience too.
I was searching in slightly the wrong place at the final when a small child (maybe 4 years old?) came running up to me yelling "I found it! I found A GIRL IN THE BUSHES!!" I quickly stopped poking around in the leaves and explained that I was just hiding from the rain, not playing hide and seek like she thought I was. She managed to get her parents to come over and made them say hello to me. A bit awkward, but then they left me alone and I could make a quick retrieve of the cache out of sight. Whew. TFTWC

I completed the wherigo component many moons ago with my nephew, however, the final location was away from the car and he was getting tired, so I didn't have a chance to make the find at the time. Today I was taking advantage of the gorgeous weather and having a break from writing an assignment, so headed to Western Springs for a few caches. Even with plenty of muggles out, the final location was hidden from view. The cache was well concealed and slightly buried but finally located it.
I really enjoy doing wherigos and it seems ages since I found one. I enjoyed my wander round the lake - manged to disturb one family's picnic and another group's party but no one minded. Such a lovely afternoon to be wandering round the park. Very pleased to have another wherigo signed off to add to the tally thanks Zork V. TFTW # 16,993
I write "WRITE NOTE" because it's a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in the memories of my visits. That's why I'm only stretching the Travel Bug from the adventures in New Zealand. Writing "Found it" is no longer correct, but it wasn't today.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.
Due to construction at the first point. I was not able to get close enough to get the first way point to work. Still about 15m, whatever approach I tried.
I had actually started this Wherigo a while back, but after two of the points I had to rush off. Good thing too as the starting point is no accessible until early 2021 due to the playground construction!
Finally picked it up this evening and followed it around.
Very cool concept!
Enjoyed the walk around the lake.
Was able to find the cache after some bouncy coords set me all about. In the end my geosenses prevailed.
Small hint for finders since a pretty large geotrail is forming where it shouldn’t : the cache is not lakeside of path.

Have only done three Wherigo caches so far since when I loaded the whereyougo app on my phone, which seems to work ok with the format. A nice easy series to follow, but I still needed to have a good rummage around in the leaf debris before I spotted this tricky hide. As previous logs indicate, this is a small plastic honey jar, but the hint is still good, TFTC
Visited on my Christmas holiday trip. This was my 11th find in New Zealand. After a well-slept night and the Kiwi breakfast at the hotel, I headed for the Museum of Transport and Technology Auckland, where I spent most of the day. I found the museum most interesting. While there, I noticed the presence of this wherigo cache nearby, so after leaving the museum it was the wherigo time! There were lots of geese in the park, and based on the earlier logs I was careful to avoid any bigger flocks. Completing the wherigo part was easy enough, but finding the cache itself took me some time, but I was able to find it eventually anyway. The description of the container in the cache description is totally wrong, it was actually a very small plastic jar, hidden under fallen leaves.
Many thanks for the wherigo cache and greetings from Finland!

Today, Miss Three and I were trying to decide what we'd do on this sunny, Queens Birthday weekend, and I thought of this cache I've had on my "to do" list for years. Armed with sushi, we made our way around the lake, looking out for wild animals. We managed to gather them up easily, and with minimal injury (one goose bite each). Great way to spend the afternoon, thanks!
Had a nice stroll trough the park while solving this cache. Really liked the Idea behind it and thought it would have been cool if there was a a more detailed Story connecting als the places and animals.
Entertaining walk with the kids, sadly no sign of the cache at the end (despite lots of poking around in the undergrowth).
Found after more hunting, cache is a small honey jar, not a 500ml silver camo container as in the description. TFTC!
Had a fantastic time geocaching up in Auckland today. Nice easy wherigo. Man there are sure a lot of eels in that lake. Enjoyed the wander around as I hadn't been here for ages. Tftc
Had an unexpected day without the mini cachers so decided to take a walk with NZIceman and the geo dog to find some caches.
Have been to this area a number of times but have never actually walked through the park and around the lake. The weather was perfect and it wasn't too busy.
Thanks for all the fun!

Day 30 in Newzealand. Our last day here. Today we drove from Paparoa to Auckland Zoo where we had our event afterwards and then finally to the airport in Auckland. We had a fantastic time. What a lovely parc. For sure a FP.

Meanwhile this is my third geocaching-trip to Middle-Earth . And I love it! [:X]
Still there are routes and places in this beautiful country that are on the 'discover-me' list and want to be visited and explored. – but Auckland, the city of sails – my personal pearl [:X] - belongs to the favourite places ever since the first trip and is a steady ‘always’ visiting place !
Day #13:
Did not do much of caching today .
But happily strolled around some wonderful and scenic places [^]:
The lake by the zoo, the waterfront, the city, and of course the beautiful park around the Auckland Museum . Picked up some treasures as they occurred .
Just like this one:
What a nice walk around the scenic lake!
With all the different kinds of birds [^]! Really enjoyed this walk and happily reward a favorite point for this geo-juwel! [^]
Thanks to the owner [:X] for placing and maintaining this cache and best regards from Germany!

This week is my with Ethness in the North Island. We are driving from Wellington to Auckland, with a few detours. It is a 5 day trip.
Today is day four after spending the night in Auckland with a friend of Ethness. We are signing as TEN Team Ethness Nosynel.
We were stopping for larger geocaches, old geocaches, virtual caches, wherigos, challenges met and enjoying others on the way.
We solved the puzzles at home over time and have had many pleasurable hours compiling lists, solving puzzles, learning more about project geocaching and finding caches.
We discovered how tired we were after this one. So it was one of our last. I do enjoy a wherigo. I am so pleased the geese didn't chase us.
Sadly there is no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. I plan on going to the OzGeomuster in July. To find out more visit this site: https://www.ozgeomuster.com.au
If you can't make Aussie. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland. I will keep you posted in my logs.
Thanks for hiding this geocache.

First things first - right after arriving in New Zealand we went straight to the zoo and the surrounding parks. We could identify and rescue all lost animals without problems and enjoyed the entertaining walk. Thanks for the cache!
We landed this day in Auckland and the best activity with a jetlag is a visit at the zoo. And of course doing a nice cache. We enjoyed the walk around the lake, saw many birds and we could rescue all of the animals. We had no problem with the cartridge. At GZ we searched for a few minutes, then B!ber could find the cache in his hide. Thanks for this nice Wherigo! Greetings from Germany, GolmarKlonk
Enjoyed gping around the park on the sunny day. Lots of pukaka about today amongst many ducklings. Cache easily located and was in a suitably muggle free place to pick it up. TFTC
Frustrating as the whereigo crashed at the red panda, so I had to restart. Saw a few stinkhorn fungus flowers at the final. Enjoyed the wander.
The first and only wherigo for us in NZ. It was nice to wander around in the dark. The black swans were a nice surprise.
It took some time to find the cache. At las we spotted it some 8 meters from GZ.
Thanks for the nice wherigo.

Good thing I brought an extra large backpack to carry all of the animals. The only tiny issue I had with the WhereIGo was when I was at the location and ready to take the animal when all of the sudden I was only 'near' the location and had to move a bit more to get 'inside'.
Anyways, when I got to GZ, I saw a thing that matched the hint and went towards it. There were two noisy Pukekos guarding the area, so I had to wait until they disappeared before I searched there. It was all for nothing since the cache wasn't there. I had to look around quite a bit before I found another place that matched the hint. TFTC.

Sorry for the late log. After solving this on an emulator ages ago I thought I would pick it up being in the area. After going to the wrong place at first I soon got corrected by my GPS and found the well hidden cache, signed while the trees where covering me from muggle eyes. Thank's for the WIG cache.
#1020 It is always nice when we come up to Auckland as we are able to get some of the more obscure cache types. We set today aside for this where I go. I have had a 50% success rate with this type of cache but this one worked well the whole way through. A lovely meander around the western springs lake was had visiting all the locations and the cache was found easily at the final spot. Thanks zorkv for a great unique cache.
What a great adventure this turned out to be. Gr33nslime, DangerSAM and I were up in Auckland for the Xmas holidays and with DangerSAM safely under adult supervision Gr33nslime!and I decided to go for a stroll around western springs. This was a very fun cache to do and we throughly enjoyed it. I had not be around western springs for a while and it was as if nothing had changed at all. The locations were well thought out and I had a great time trying to recall where they were located in the park, drawing on my childhood memories, before we set off to find them again. So many birds around. Those honking, bickering and some times nippy black swans were there. Thankfully they paid us no attention as it was baby bird season. That did mean however the fragrance of bird poo was a little more common and the squich obstacles on the ground more numerous to avoid. In the end all the way points worked fine and the final was quick to find due to the clue. Thanks for the cache. A great way to spend a sunny afternoon.
Picked up TBs, replaced broken cache and log, now a small jar provided by supernannny.

That was a nice stroll through the park or around the lake, enjoying the tranquility whilst watching the numerous birds
The cache is fine but needs maintenance, unfortunately the inside is wet (tried my best to dry it)
Hopefully this one lasts long, as the box lies more or less in the open (covered now with a stone
Left some TBs
No unlock code, a pity....

Another weekend day in Auckland and still have the car my friend lent me to get round and see the sights (Geocaching). Todays plan was a many splendored thing; start off with a Wherigo and an Earthcache, clear the new caches off the 101 Dalmation road(s), do few at each end of the Stillwater/Millwater walkway at Okura Bush, dinner with my Aunt in Kumeu before returning car to Greenhithe around 7pm. A few targets and a wonderful days weather for my efforts too, nice one Auckland cachers! Managed to grab quality caches for the most part and a nice round number of 33 for the day was just the ticket.
First up here at around 7.30 am and the air was so cold as I made my trip gathering up the escapees. I was concerned that some might eat some others but they all played nicely and I got the required numbers to make the find at G Z. Now I can honestly say I know "who's who in the zoo'!!

Second day in NZ and Auckland and I wanted to visit MOTAT, because I like transportation. I loved the museum (I can completely recommend it!), the ride with the tram to the other side and the beautiful park it it situated next to. So after I've visited both sides of the museum, I knew some animals had broken out of the zoo. I left the tram at the Zoo stop and walked to the start. I already downloaded the cartridge at home, so I didn't have to spoil any time before I could start the hunt for the animals.
It was a bright and sunny day, the birds in the park let me do whatever I was doing and without any problems I located all of the animals. Loved the park and the view. The cache was 8 metres southeast from what GZ was meant to be, but the cache was located and logged unseen. Thanks for this nice Wherigo!

This WIG would be my penultimate cache for today and it was indeed a nice walk along the lake. The waterfowl were out and about and after nearly getting attacked by a couple and avoiding a team, the series was completed and the cache was found after a brief search. I like a good WIG because they are rare but tend to be good fun. This didn't disappoint of course. TFTC and an FP awarded!
Had a nice walk around the lake grabbing all the animals. Plenty of real birds running around as well, with lots of babies in tow. I guess it's that time of year here. Got the final coordinates, and made my way to GZ, just as it started to rain. The area was under some cover, so I managed to stay dry while finding the container, which took a little back and forth to find the item mentioned in the clue. Signed the log and beat a hasty retreat to my car to escape the rain. Thanks for the wherigo!
Day seven of my New Zealand geocaching adventure!
Aiming for Earthcaches and odd types&sizes, avoiding traditionals.
Went on an animal rescue mission around the park in the rain, happy when I got to the end and I and the wet animals could all take a break from the wet outdoors.
Change of clothes in the car and on towards more finds!
Thanks for your WiG

it was such a lovely day to be out and perfect to try our first Wherigo. Wasn't totally sure of what we were meant to do but didn't take much to round up all the animals. Such fun and before long we were at the final, thanks for the intro we will do more Wherigos in the future!

I gotta say that the real problem in this park is all the free roaming escaped birds Some of them act quite aggressive
Oh, the thought of a hippo wollowing in that small weir... [:o)]
At first I was a bit confused that nothing happens when I press "take" but I got my **wits** together and looked up the inventory which was filling up with animals alright.
Took me 23 minutes to round up all the animals and avoid getting attacked by the swans. And after that about the same amount of time to find the box. Coords a bit off and pointed to the other side of the track but eventually with a little help from the other side of the globe (yay for SNlEGS) the wet box was located.
2nd wherigo cache done today!
Thanks for the cache!

Together with Pinofit I went to this park to rescue all the animals. And there are a lot of them . We started the catridge and looked for the first one... got it. So we went through the park with all the wildlife and looked for the virtual animals. We enjoyed it and finally we got the final box.
Thanks for this WhereIGo [^].

This evening mikeSierraTango and I went to rescue the animals at the lake. It was a very nice walk with many different animals.
It was easy to find the box.
Thanks for hiding and showing this little park!
This was our very first Wherigo, & so cool !!
We found all the animals some in the Rain & some in the Sun, such a crazy weather day today!
GPS still said we were 7m away but I spotted Cache on approach.
Must do more of these now that I know what do to. TFTC A favourite point from us too.
myself and batgirl did all the ground work for this wherigo a few weeks ago but the heavens opened up up on us before we could head to final so a quick escape was had, but this morning we were back straight to gz dodging the new angry parents (geese n swans) after a few mins trying to figure out co ords as was jumping around searched a few spots with nothing then spotted a clue away from were co ords had us and yes it was it cache in hand, nice yes a little wet in there but all good and in place just had to dodge the 'huge' rat that ran around the rocks in front of us,TFTC
was out with lokky1 a few weeks back using his app to walk around and find the lost animals, but the rain came before we could finish, so back today to try locate final gz after dodging angry swans and geese and huge rats we searched for a few mins then spotted the correct gz and a quick find was had, my first wherigo, tftc
The rain finally let up enough for us to throw the geohound in the back of the car and come down to Western Springs for a walk. Doubled it up with our first attempt at a wherigo.
The rain was handy in that it meant it wasn't too busy so we were able to get a car park and head to the first waypoint - also given the rain not too busy so I didn't get funny looks. Danger money needed for the geohound here today - despite his complete lack of interest in birds (rabbits, now that's a different story), it's full on baby time for the birds down here and he was not popular. Much honking from the geese.
Anyway after rescuing quite a few animals we eventually found the cache, as others note it is wet but the log is waterproof so no problem. Thanks for putting this together - an interesting walk around the park. TFTC.

Our second Wherigo, this one went much smoother than the first! Nice walk around the park to get this one. All animals and the final rescued - final was found with lid off, contents scattered near hiding spot. Log signed and cache re-hidden with a little extra cover. TFTC
Two days and two successfully completed Wherigos.
Really enjoyed this one. Beautiful location and a nice walk.
A favourite point from us.

Finally managed to finish this one as our first attempt was our very first whereIgo and we got all confused as to what to do. This time with a bit more knowledge under our belt we were able to have a lovely family stroll around Western Springs to rescue all the animals and claim the log. As previously mentioned case is very damp but log is waterproof. Tftc.
These are currently my favorite types of caches... A great walk in a nice area doing a treasure hunt on the way. Cache is very damp but you can still sign the log. May need some maintenance shortly. Tftc
Met up with Mr and Mrs Jag50 to do this one before the promised rain and thunderstorms for the day arrived. This one was literally a pleasant walk in the park after doing the 'monkey' whereigo the week before. In fact, it was easy enough to multi-task this one with the other multi in the park. Thanks for such a stress-free, enjoyable whereigo and walk, Zork!
After having done a very challenging wherigo last weekend we were keen to try something hopefully a bit more straight forward. Joined Pazzabella this morning and relied on her GPS unit as ours did not like the app for this type of cache. Once we had started and had the hang of what we were doing we subsequently enjoyed collecting the animals. Once Noah's Ark had rescued the requisite animals we were off to the final location. Wow, did not even know this part was here as it was off the beaten path.
After collecting some errands in Ponsonby I was not ready yet to go home. Searched for some geocaches close by involving a good walk. Enjoyed rescuing the animals along the way. TFTC
We planned to visit this wherigo even before our arrival to New Zealand. Finished the task already in the darkness and were very happy to find the final box quickly enough. Met local birds and rabbits on our way.
First one below the equator, thank you and greetings from Latvia! Found it with kazhe.

I'm a big fan of Wherigos so on this sunny afternoon we decided to have a go at this one.
Once we found a park we headed into the zoo, after that though we decided to round up these animals. After the enjoyable walk I searched at where my GPS zeroed for a while. On giving that up I checked a few meters away where I thought it would be. There I stopped a hint object and once at that I instantly spotted a corner of the cache.

After a trip around the zoo to see the elephants we decided to tackle the nearby Whereigo.
A beautiful sunny day for a walk. The whereIgo was very enjoyable collecting all the animals to rescue.

Got the final coordinates and searched a very long time at GZ.
Just when I wanted to quit I found the cache with lots of leaves on it.
Very nice lake.
Thank you for the WIG

We visited the zoo today. After that we started this rescue mission. Wherigo worked without problems and we got the coordinates to the cache. Box was a bit too well hidden and it took some time to find it.
We rescued the TBs from the box.
TFTC, greetings from Finland.

On Granny duties today so what better thing to do but a wherigo that has been asking to be found for a while. So after some food and a play on the playground 4 cachers and 2 four year olds set out on a safari. This took so much longer than it should but the kids enjoyed playing on the way around. We all tried to guess which animal would come up next, but I am not sure if any of us did correctly guess. Enjoyable wherigo and all technology played nice. Some snacks and a drink in the shade and off for the promised tram ride. FP from me. TB dropped.
A plan was made early in the morning to explore Western Springs and find the wherigo. With rebel98, merlot58, urbangyspsynz and the two mini muggles, we set off on an adventure, searching for the missing animals! Many refuelling stops where had (thanks UGNZ) along the way, and a promise of a tram ride kept everyone focused to the end.
We each used a device to search with, (2 phones, and 1 GPS). I had a problem of bright sunlight on the screen, which made the reading of messages or navigation with the compass tricky. Thankfully eventually it settled down, and with a bit more practice it all worked amazingly. Thanks for the hide, and this fun wherigo in the park

I got invited to join Rebel98, Rustynz and Urbangypsynz and their 2 4yr old grandchildren to take a stroll around Western Springs looking for the escaped animals. It was a stunning day and after lots of breaks for youngsters to play and nibbles to be eaten we made it to the end after recapturing all the escapees. Dropped off TB. Thanks, thoroughly enjoyed doing this.
Such an enjoyable cache, even if we did most of it in the pouring rain! Really enjoyed, it was a shame the second smallest cacher wasn't with us, she would have loved it! TFTC!
lots of fun enjoyed the walk seeing all the baby birds and eels in the lake thanks for bringing us here a favorite from me TFTC.
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!

Last day in New Zealand. All fun things come to end. Will defenitely come back! Today our trip continued from Hamilton to Auckland Airport. Of course with some caching on the way. We had lots of fun and saw many nice places and caches. Thanks for the cache!
