Today we headed out for a day of quality over quantity caching. I did however have quite a big list which as usual we didnt complete. Never enough time in the day!! We did some nice walks and found some lovely caches. Our thanks as usual to all the hiders for this wonderful work, there were some really creative caches today. Nice quick find after lunch. Good to find a decent sized cache. TFTC
2nd find for the morning. Thanks for bringing me down to this quiet neck of the world. Thanks for the cache too.
Scoot claimed the find on this one. We split up on the tracks. Tried to defer him by saying I'd found it, but he'd actually found it so didn't work.Cache finds for the dayScoot - 5Izzy - 4
Amazing name Amazing spot too, how awesome would it be to have a house here! Nice for visitors too, and after a little trouble with the GPS we realised we'd been standing right next to it for a while. TFTC
One of twenty-one caches found today with Zozetta. We began the day at Honeywood Drive where we found a cache which we had previously had a DNF on, we then drove towards Sandford collecting caches along the way. Most of the caches we found were traditionals, but we found two excellent multis as well. A fun day out with many quality caches found.
We were first here in April when we had a good look for this one but couldn’t find it. I had a look at the cache page the other day and saw that the Tas_Community had replaced it, so this was our first stop today. It was a quick find in a spot that we had checked last time.
Thanks for the cache Turbo Chickens!

Yay, very happy to change this sad face to yellow today! First find of the day and quick. Great spot for a hide. Thanks for replacing it! And TFTC
A fifteen minute search revealed nothing. We checked every location that matched the hint and some that didn’t but no cache. Pretty sure it’s gone.
It had been vandalised by muggles but I fixed it up.
It has been wet and now the log is hard to read so I think it needs some maintenance.

A quick find one I got to the spot.
Did not exactly have appropriate footwear on, bit so good.

Found this one when I had a bit of time on one of my regular trips to South Arm. Gorgeous spot and a lovely quiet place to live. A quick find. All good with cache. (Sorry for the late log)
A strange spot here. Listening to the Hottest 100 while out caching and an even stranger song came on. “Get on the beers”. I cracked up laughing while looking for this cache, reminiscing about the hell that was 2020 living in Victoria. Listening to Dan Andrews press conferences every day. I’m so glad to be living in Tassie now! Anyway, i blared the song out loud while hunting and the cache was soon in hand. Here’s hoping to a COVID free 2021! Tftc
Hi Turbo Chickens today we were chasing some caches down Honeywood and South Arm. It was a great day for collecting smiles cool but no wind. This was the second cache of the day and the five of us searched for this one before the obvious (not so obvious) path came to light. Nice area here and a great wander to GZ along the foreshore. Nice big cache added a couple of swaps, all good with the cache thanks for your efforts in adding some fun to the start of our geocaching Saturday.
Getting to this one by car was a bit of a challenge without wrecking the suspension... there's some serious undulations and tree roots along this coastal dirt road, but i was determined to get to it. Got there and had to look around a bit, but it was eventually found and the log was signed at 13:43 on Tue 7 Jan 2020.
I have never tried an Oyster and i'm not game to in case i dry reach [:o] Seafood does not smell good but tastes good ha ha... so really i should have a go, hey?

April Fool's Day - what a great introduction to caching on Tasmania's South Arm. We appreciated learning about the oyster farming and loved the themed name of this cache.
Thanks to 'Turbo Chickens' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Hi there Turbo Chickens.
We found your cache **"Honeywood like some Oysters"** at 10:58:00 AM today. (This makes our grand total 18825).
Another great day caching down South Arm. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes. Our cache count was 5 caches today, with 1 DNF's.
We found a parking spot close by, and strolled down the track to the cache. Thanks for placing it here. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge and a Mondo Doll.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Passing this area on the way home late this afternoon, decided there was a few minutes spare to have a quick hunt for a geocache. The area approaching this cache was muggle free and the cache was soon found, signed and returned. Haven't been to this area for years, thanks for the cache Turbo Chickens!
We were heading over this way today to watch the footy grand final so decided to grab a couple of caches while out. Quick easy find at GZ. TFTC.
Oh wow! What a spectacular place!! I would live here! All the neighbours are out doing their gardening though.. TFTC!
Ooh, isn't it lovely here! Spent half my childhood living up the hill, but had never been down here. TFTC
Fortified with lunch, we're on the cache trail again this was a quick easy find in another nice location. TFTC
We're on the way south again to visit and say goodbye to our family as we've now got less than two weeks left of our six month stay from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney. We've been touring in the caravan and also visiting with our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley
We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and I for one don't want to go home!

When I arrived I realised that it was going to be difficult and it was. I did not find the cache where I thought it was going to be as it didn't really fit the hint but it was in a likely looking spot.
Drove round the track by the waterfront and managed to get to within about 10 metres of GZ. Found but not quite where we thought after reading the hint. Waved to the old bloke looking to see why we were in his neighbourhood but he didn't see a thing. TFTC
Driving home from an outing with the kids and we decided at the last minute to look for a cache. Pulled the phone out to see what was left unfound in the area, with one added criterion: the kids insisted it had to be one with swaps!
A short pleasant stroll around the waterfront and it was soon in hand. Coordinates pretty good, and I picked the spot while approaching. Had a quick peek without the kids seeing, then left them to find it. They each swapped an item, I took the TB and we headed home. TFTC.

The drive to this cache had us feeling just the teensiest bit like we were driving across peoples backyards but clearly this was a public thoroughfare. Then a short stroll along the rocks had CiH. A beautiful peaceful spot.
Snooped about until finding an opening. Left a band TB and took on out.
TFTC Turbo ChickensOn a pleasant late winter day we decided to walk along Cremorne Beach to Calverts Hill and score some geocaches. On reaching the Calverts Hill cache we noticed a log entry from Budgietas about continuing up to the trig on the top of the hill. We thought that this would mean that the trig was on the Geocache Australia site and so perhaps we should go on to see.
Dropping a TB I placed in the cache today. I am behind in logging as I am traveling. I will log the find in the order I found it once I get better internet service.
Zop and I went to find this cache in the hopes that there was an oyster shack nearby. No such luck but we did find this nicely hidden geocache. I dropped a trackable called "Across the Blue" that hopes to travel across bodies of water. I thought placing it in a cache near this bay was appropriate.
Pleasant walk around coast with geodog. Found cache without too much difficulty. TFTC
A nice walk across the beach while the tide was out. Once at GZ a quick find was made by the Bear. He had it signed and replaced before Smiley found the cache only to read the log had find it had already been signed. Payback. Oh Yeah. TNLNSL TFTC.
a lot of grass clippings have been dumped around the gz had a look but was unable to locate the cache
During our visit to this area we must have met about six dogs taking their owners for an early morning walk. Each, of course, wanted attention. Luckily they had all passed by by the time we neared GZ. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. TFTC Turbo Chickens
