Hi, found cache in a very obvious spot, I think it has been moved by someone, will email you the details. pencil sharpener and very wet log inside but nothing else.
First find of the day, was being watched the whole time from the living room and didn't know until I sat down.
Beut sunny day but never really warmed up. It was a short bike ride from home to locate this cache. Log book very wet. Took out all other contents as they were damp too, except pencil, sharpener, logbook and stash note. + boxing gloves TB. TY.
A nice peaceful spot and friendly locals!! log book needs replacing, really damp, cheers!!
11.50am - We are amazed at the amount of walkways in Nelson and thank you to the lady in #252 for letting us park in her driveway while we found this cache
A good friend used to live in the adjacent house, so interesting to see how the area has changed.

3229. Quick find after walking past the workmen in the middle of the approach road and then talking to the man who was planting a pohutakawa tree that was a Christmas present to his uncle and aunt.
Thanks

#1670 This was a straight forward find. Had a chat with the neighbour who was out in his garden. The logbook was soggy and needs attending to. TFTC DS8300
Did this after doing a couple of caches nearby. Nice quick walk up the hill, got to GZ and then took a little time to find the cache. I thought it might have been very cunning hide, rather than checking out the more obvious spots first. Silly me Cheers Gav [4383]
A quick find, sat and watched the sunset while milling the day over before heading back down. A nice view of the valley from here. TNLN SL TFTC
My biggest problem was finding the start of the track as I went up the wrong road, but a nice young lad told me where to go, nice spot to enjoy the view.

Good up hill cardio workout for the Aliens but we found the cache after a bit of a head scratch. Thanks.
A late workout to find one of many finds on our third full day in Nelson. Thanks for bringing us here and yes we did continue up the hill.
A short steep walk warmed me up on a cold morning after overnight rain. Easy find, thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1563)
came back to this one, this time with a pen and a coin. Nice views in a very cold afternoon. Left the pen + small steps geocoin. TFTC
We needed a sit down after a long walk over the Tantragee Saddle and down the Maitai Valley. A good way to find new walkways in the district. Lovely view on another brilliant sunny Nelson day!
We always enjoy the colours of autumn leaves and the trees have transformed this area into a rather picturesque setting. Took a few photos. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC.
What a funny little track to nowhere. Lovely view from the seat. The grass is starting to get a little high to watch telly now.

Took the morning off to to do an FTF and decided it was so nice, I better keep on caching a bit longer! I made a bit of a hash out of fiding a place to park, but once I figured out what to do, it was all up from there! A nice geotrack to the cache site now, but still managed to check two other locations first. I guess I like things the hard way. TFTC - lovely and relaxing.
I live so close to this walkway and didn't know it existed. Another nice view (and of my house). TFTC (425)
really enjoyed this a did not know of walkway. co-ords bang on.left man part of funman0561 to sign book while I guarded the bikes thanks
Nice One!!!!!!!!!Quick up the street and up the hill find with the Grandson Bryn. No problem with security during daylight hours. Never knew track existed. Great potential for the future. Thanks
had to go and see this light which came on full blast but when we went back it was turned off. quick easy find TFTC
Thought I had suddenly dropped dead and gone to heaven as a big bright light appeared from above. A quick check revealed that in fact I was still alive but had been sprung by the security light. No early morning TV though. A nice spot. TFTC.
Hmm, the log book looked clean to me but I thought I'd seen other logs... Maybe I signed it at the back lol. Think I was following Burlis for a bit. The weekend cache event seems to have stimulated some activity. TFTC, Biggles.
Well I never knew that walkway was there- and you are right- it is fairly short! I guess the Council's intention is to link it up with the Maitai tracks, and possibly the Atmore/ Old Codgers network??? Easy find at gz- all you do is go round and round in circles following all the flattened grass, and then stop, think and look where you should have looked in the first place! Good one, thank you. Topgear01 and dog.
We also didn't know this walkway existed. Also saw the TV but no lights came on at 8.30pm. After a busy day this gave us an excuse to get out of the house for a short time. TNLN TFTC
Possibly not a good idea to wander up here at night. The house below has a very bright security light that Mr KE looked straight into on the way up, on the plus side they have a lovely big LCD TV that you can watch from the nearby seat. No trouble with the find (nice clean log book!) and couldn't hear any sirens as I drove off so great fun in the end. TFTC.
