As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Cache is indeed gone, there was a lot of weedy scrub here that has now been cleaned out.
Should be back up and running soon.

Hi, could I suggest you temporarily take this cache off line so that it does not show up in pocket queries? Cheers w6r.
I think this Cache has hopped it! Spent a while searching with mini Geocachers nothing but tyres and hubcaps!
Zipped into the bush as quickly as I could, even though the playground was deserted. Force of playground caching habit I guess. Wandered around on the slope and bottom for a while before spying the cache. It was covered, well sort of.
Thanks dicky v.
Thanks dicky v.
Sounds like it's gone for a bit of a wander, it should be in a hiding spot and not just out in the open. I'll get in to check on it soon.
Totally agree with mancy pants here a random hiding spot. It is visible to anyone who looks at the pictures.

Co-ords a little off, I'd say that the cache was about 7m east of what was listed. A bit of a random hide, was way out in the open with a Rock on top of it. But a good way to end a busy day of geocaching in the northern beaches.
Not sure if this one has experienced some cache creep. After a longish hunt (finding a plant hanger, a hub cap and a rabbit) geodad finally found it with a rock on top of it, 10 metres from where the gps coords were pointing. You might want to check on this one. TFTC
We spend an afternoon driving around in Mona Vale and Newport along the coastline. In between some stops for eating, drinking coffee, sunbathing, enjoying the landscape and finally searching for some caches. TFTC
A nice easy walk to get this one, not so easy coming back up.....Maybe GeoDad could benefit from losing a few (dozen) kg's and some fitness work. Got there in the end. TFTC
I was working in the area today and was fortunate to finish after the storms and strong winds that were about. Coming down from Palm Beach, decided to pick up a find for the calendar. Made my way to the little park and took some looking as the GPS had me a few metres further up the hill. Widened my search and located the hide in among the pine needles but a little exposed. Did the duties and left a Paralympic supporters badge.

We had a really goo look around but came up empty handed. We were amused by the dog across the road from the park who was sitting on the trampoline barking at us the entire time!
After contemplating which direction would be the easiest to get to GZ, I ended up finding it quickly. I thought it might be buried from a from months worth of needles, but luckily I spotted it from a few metres away.
It was getting late so with our dodgy (today) GPS we just gave up on looking for the GZ.
2 of 5 for today, with Borgling and dicky_v.
Not so much a find as a replacement trip.

Didn't find it but I wasn't looking very hard. I wasn't really dressed for geocaching and it was a totally spontaneous decision to stop and check the geocaching app.
But it was a beautiful spot to visit on a sunny Spring-like afternoon. I look forward to coming back here and looking again properly.

We missed it today but called the search off early as this looked to me like tick country!
Finally got it after gps got me to 15m. Started in most obvious places and worked my way out. Tftc
This one did take a while to locate, there are just so many possible spots, with fallen branches, pine needles and the like.
Anyway, I eventually assumed the GPS was "about right" as the accuracy was poor in the GZ area, and finally got the right spot - in hindsight it should have been more obvious,
TNLN
thanks.

1013 - 7 for today. Found on 3/04/11 12:03 PM
2nd attempt at this after an unsuccessful attempt last year. Thought I'd give this another go after it was found. Decided to let the gpsr settle down and after a few minutes arrived at GZ. A quick search around and the container was located. Must of walked past it so many times last year. Glad to get this one ticked off. Thanks. TNSLLN

No idea of the date, but found this over summer with geokid. Just getting around to logging it now
Glad we found this one as hasnt been found for a while .debanco geokids and I looked everywhere found a nice new league ball as well TFTH
Clever hide couldn't work out the hint till we found it and it made sense. SL TN L N TFTH
No luck here I'm afraid, and there seemed to be so many better spots for a cache...oh well...
With Lost_Gecko. Couldn't find even with two cachers. GPSr bounced around, spent wayy too long searching for this one.
I'll be disappointed if I ever find out how close I got to this one without seeing it but 40 mins while I'm meant to be at a family Xmas do is stretching the friendship. Did find two golf balls though and enjoyed the hunt.

Found with Psym, cache was a bit waterlogged, and no pen to log visit.
Nice playground for children near the carpark.
Watch out for all of the mosquitos and spiders.

After just finding the Doggy Disney Land... I can't stop at one if there close buy!
So here I am wondering around what my GPS took me too and came up with nothing.
So taking the clouds and the level of the terrain into account I widen my search and whats this a cache in hand.
I like your clue and the spot.
Thanks for bringing me here.
SL TN but I left a little absorption Gell pack.

Took quite a search to find this one. Eventually found it and quickly out of there to check for any ticks, but all clear. TFTC
Found but nearly gave up, gps was all over the place about 10m from actual spot. Lots came in handy.

This was tough terrain, limit GPS coverage & ticks/spiders galore. However persevered & found the cache - goodtimes left the pink pig & earing as a token of respect [^]
Capellaman- Found this afternoon, after reading the logs, thought i was in for a hard bash through the cob webs, but was quite easy once you break through the first line of trees. Very busy around school exit time, got back to the car park to find lots of mums waiting for kids.TNLN,SL TFTC.
I spent just over 1 hour trying to find this one. Like others have stated the GPS kept changing its mind. Went around in circles for a while. Lots of spiders and mosquitoes. I had to use all the clues and then narrow down to the location using Google maps on my iPhone. This has been the hardest one to find so far. Still had lots of fun trying to find it.
Found whilst caching with THE SILVAS. Had a nice lunch Newport Arms before venturing out to do the two caches in the area. A storm was threatening so we wanted a quick find before the heavens opened. We circled the GZ once before deciding on the best line of approach through the undergrowth. Once we took a decision, the cache was found relatively quickly, but then there were three people looking for it.
Took a while, and the spiders webs were nasty. But in the end it was in a usual yet still tough hiding spot
Took a while since the GPS wouldn't make up it's mind.... Either way it was a nice find in a rather spider-ridden spot. TNLN, couldn't sign log due to lack of pen/pencil (next visitor might want to put one in). TFTC!
I always like to take on a cache to calm the pre-dentist nerves in Newport. This one was not easy to find at first due to poor GPS accuracy near the trees. I also found a number of spider's webs and dewy shrubs which led my dentist to later remark on the amount of insect wildlife crawling on me. Thanks dicky_v.
Took me all of 35 seconds to find it today. Didn't find it last time because I was standing on it
This is my 100th cache. Nice to celebrate a milestone on a cache which had caused me problems.

I was hoping for an easy find as I didn't have a lot of time to spare but GPS was jumping all over the shop. 22m of accuracy makes for a large search area.
I will return for this when I am next free for an extended search.

We went out on a rainy day last week and spent a long time in bog like conditions with GPS acting up and limited connectivity -- bothered us all week -- today went in and found in minutes -- TFTC -- we'll sleep better having ticked this one off
Got there in the end. Let the GPSr settle for a bit and then I spotted an unlikely placed rock. BINGO.

that was a hard one, had almost given up. Watch out for the ticks ! ( We only had 2 )
couldnt find this one, very muddy due to recent rain so may come back when it is a bit drier!
This one took some dedication. After the GPS sent me in a loop around the area I should have realised we'd have some fun narrowing down the search. And after 15mins searching in what we believed was the right area, had given up. Checked the screen while looking for the path out of the area and noticed the arrow pointing in another direction. Walked straight up and nearly tripped over the fellow.
TNLN for the cache. But took a dozen of those tick blighters home with me instead.

[I finally found the cache after the famous "one last try" before leaving. The logbook is very damp. Thanks, dicky_v ! ]
The hint ought to be updated to base of tree away from main bulk of pine needles to avoid unnecessary geo-damage.

Took a while to finally reach the correct level. Yes, this area is VERY prone to ticks, both the boy and I are covered in the small critters.
Here is the local councils page about their ticks...

finally got around to get this cache & found quite easily as was expecting to have trouble by reading some of the logs
This one didn't take too long once the GPS had settled. Initially it had me looking 10 meters in the opposite direction. Looking around it was obvious that someone had been here very recently. There was nothing serious, only signs that a Cacher would notice, little piles of recent disturbed pine needles at the base of every tree.

GPS was a tiny bit off, widened the search and found quick.
Left nothing, took about 100 000 tiny baby spiders. The spiders decided to make my shoes their new home and were looking at expanding their territory. I only discovered this when over the hill at Bilgola Beach. I didn't feel like being the new Spiderman so decided to take the spiders and any piece of clothing hosting a baby spider for a swim in the ocean pool. Lucky I was carrying some spare clothes.
The spiders were actually ticks, a quick swim in the ocean wasn't enough to put these stubbon little buggers off.

Just grabbing a couple today on the way to the beach. Nice quick find once I got to the right level. Didn't seem devious to me. TNLNSL, thanks.
Looking at earlier finders logs I think I was very lucky to make a quick find. I moved about the area trying to get the distance to 0m then looked down and there it was.
What a devil of a thing this was to find! GPS had me getting GZ in several locations, the kids gave up looking and I must admit I wasn't far off it. A lot of rubbish down here strewn around from rising waters I guess, not sure what the attraction is it looks like tempe tip and some kids used it to ditch junk mail as well. Some biiiiiigg spiders too of the Neophila variety.
The park looks nice enough though good thing the kids were there TFTC TNLN

What a way to spend a grey and rainy Wednesday morning: Getting up early, skipping breakfast, getting into the car, fighting the morning traffic, getting out at an obscure place you never heard about, foraging into the bush, getting wet and stung by thorny vines, having the GPS sending you back and forth all over the place just to look for a tiny plastic container that someone has hidden in a mischievous way, just for the fun of being the First To Find it.
This is great, this is Geocaching!
Took nothing, left nothing.
