DNF.
Took a seat & felt around; nothing.
Lay on my back under the seat, looked, felt & looked some more; nothing. Repeated the above; nothing.
Disappointed to finish the Maclean weekend with another .

The final of our clearing all the Maclean traditional caches... armed with a mirror and four sets of eyes / hands, alas we join hyend in recording a DNF.
If it hasn’t been muggled, it’s a really good hide.
Alas, we finished with three DNFs in this delightful town.

Last one one in this area for us before we move on up the coast and no success. Searched under and over but couldn't find.
Couldn't find it. I'm new to this and had my 4yo with me. I actually love across the road from this one! Determined to go back and find it... I hope it's still there?!
**# 21215** Found on our 2018 mega adventure to ACT, NSW, QLD and beyond.
Another perfect Autumn day for a trek around the Point for a few more caches.
Not many muggles around today and a few more good safe hides.
Thanks for the cache Magpyre,

We had a fun day out caching with some new friends we met in Brooms Head. Hopefully we have passed the caching bug onto them. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. We very much enjoyed the scenery and had a wonderful lunch at the Lawrence Pub. Thankyou Magpyre for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Ooh this was a good tricky one took us a while but persistence paid off with some unusual positions to find it was a first for us great hide
Think I managed to find the steepest hill in Maclean walking to this! Didn't have my trusty mirror with me so had to hope there were no spiders. And there wasn't. TFTC.
First looked in the wrong place but still a quick find.
Thanks for the cache Magpyre
The cut and paste bit.
We are on a trip from South Africa to the East. First stop Singapore to visit family including a weekend trip to Batam Island, Indonesia. After that we fly to Brisbane, Australia, drive down to Sydney and then back to Singapore. A week with our children and grandchildren and then back home via a stop over in Dubai.
Thanks to all the COs that made our trip more enjoyable. Greetings from South Africa

I parked just down the road and walked to GZ then followed directions and came up with the container. Fortunately I did not have to worry about public transport or neighbours, the place was deserted. Thanks Magpyre for the hide.
Finally found it today after a second attempt and 2 sets of younger hands, TFTC
When we looked for caches in Maclean in 2013 for some reason we didn't get to look for this. Ever since, whenever we passed, that green icon was a constant reminder of the one we left. Not any more! Maclean is now a map of smilies. [^] TFTC Magpyre.
Seraching for caches on a bus stop can be a big issue, or not. We first found something small, almost round a black, with two eyes - it turned out to be frog who didn't want to play our game.. Cache was soon found and signed.
We had spent a few days in Yamba and decided to pick up a few caches around Maclean on the way home. There was no way we were going to feel around with all the spider webs around so out came our trusty mirror. We managed to spot it straight away. TFTC.
On a trip throughout town to capture what we can! Took a look and thought it might be missing. Stopped, thought and looked again and came up with the cache. TFTC!
Geopartner found this one laying out on the road. Signed log, put back but co might want to check we put it in the right spot.
Arrived at GZ and looked in the obvious spot No good reada few logs and changed tactics still no good sitting there having a think when Hello Hello what's that laying on the road. Sure enough it was the cache laying out there. Signed log and hopefully replaced close to original spot container and log in good condition just laying out in the street ??
Very tricky find. Sat and felt for a good 10 mins. When I found out it was not magnetic I knew exactly where it was... Not under the bench which is what I first thought. Found with hippofun.
Today Fangsoki, Pprime, Crew 153 and myself decided to get together for a daytrip south of the border, picking up some generally older geocaches but little else in the way of plans. Having come south via the Lions Road then Kyogle, we headed through Casino and out here to the Clarence area. In Maclean for two geocache finds before we head out towards Yamba.
We had just completed a mystery nearby and for some reason, felt the need to grab this one too. I mean, why not really? We navigated through some zig-zaggy streets and parked a short distance away. As we walked towards GZ, the skies opened and it began to rain. Not a lot, but enough. How suitable considering the description for this geocache.
As it turns out, we were thankful for the shelter. And with nobody watching and no buses coming today, began to look. I felt about and came up with the geocache. Logbook signed and replaced as found, now gotta dash back to the car and keep dry-ish. Thanks for this geocache, Magpyre

Captain Terror, Crew 153, Pprime, and myself were in the vicinity grabbing a couple of caches.
This is my 20th Magpyre cache. Some of my first caches were Magpyre caches - and I have always enjoyed them. We pulled up at a suitable spot and considered our options. Captain Terror came up with the well-hidden prize. We signed the log and re-hid as found. It was in good condition.
Very glad to have grabbed this one. TFTC Magpyre

Out today with Fangsoki, Captain Terror and Crew153 driving down the road, stopped for a little leg stretch. Grateful for the shelter as it had just started raining. Didn't take us long to feel it.
Thanks for placing this cache, Magpyre. Found in good condition.

I was with Fangsoki, Pprime and Captain Terror on a day trip from Brisbane. We were targeting some of the older caches in the area. This cache was one that we found on the way.
A drive around the zig zag of streets to get to this one. A quick find just as the rain started.

Visited and checked cache - yes it is still in place. Replaced log as the paper was getting old.

VERY extensive search here. About 30 minutes. There is no way it could be a difficulty 1 when it has 27 DNF's! Usually a difficulty 1 is impossible to miss unless your geocaching blind
Oh well it MAY be missing, as I used a mirror and tried to check every possible location.
Saying that though, I doubt a muggle would be dumb enough to stick there fingers there for no reason and steal it. So it may just be hard? Not sure, may need a check up though. Thanks!

Visited here many times without success. Today however with a few hints from Wandering Me and her geohubby, found the little blighter. My trusty magnetic tool let me down today. I wonder why!

Luckily no buses pulled up while we parked in front of the bus stop to look for the cache. After a short search the container was found. On to the next.
Nice quick find, not what I expected, funny how you drive to a cache and go yep it will be and it isn't and you have to think again. Love it. TFTC
I was in Maclean briefly for a meeting and had just enough time to look for a couple of caches. Found this one. TFTC
Caching a few we missed earlier in the year whilst on our way to Sydney. As is it almost twelve months since our list visit this way, it is well and truly time to turn these green dots into yellow smileys. Pulled up near GZ and Mrs RoddyC was soon seated with the cache in hand.
Found at 1.50 pm on 14th December 2015. TFTC.

Lots of hiding spots to search. Definitely a good feeling when one finally feels it!!!
Looking aroung this area. Great idea. Looked in every curve but still vould not find
Out and about in the area today with an old friend DanteMc for a little caching and catchup.
We spent most of the day around the region and had lunch at Yamba.
Then we made our way back to northern NSW.
Thanks to all CO's for some great caches, a couple of DNF's, a couple that seem to be missing but a great day overall. Almost 30 finds in total.
A quick find here as we continue through Maclean.
Thanks for the cache.
