Found with my mates on our first day in Hawaii. We hired a car to drive around the island and grab a few caches. We stopped here and while some had a swim, we managed to grab this cache. All in good condition. Beautiful spot. TFTC Smile

After months of planning it was great to be out today finding this cache. Puzzles were solved well in advance and we really wanted to see smiley icons spelling Aloha. Time prohibited how many other caches we did and our total for the day was just over 50. Hawaii-Geo was awesome in driving our hire car with the experience of a local and adding snippets of interest as we travelled around. We found time to enjoy the beauty of this island and we had a wonderful day of caching to mark Bruce's Birthday and the start of our 3 month trip in the USA with our travelling companions The Drovers Big GrinBig Grin Thanks to Lori Lemaris.

USA road trip 2015, traveling with Liz and Bruce.
Week 1, day 2 - With Hawaii-Geo has our guide (and driver),
we had a great day picking up a good variety of caches around the island.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Lori Lemaris, for us and others to find.

I had a little trouble with this one for about 10 minutes... not sure why, but eventually I went to the right spot and leaned over enough to catch a glimpse of it. You know, these containers have me bamboozled - I dunno which end to take off... last time I did the other end, and it was the wrong one; this time I did the opposite and it was STILL the wrong one... you know what I mean??? there's no consistency. [:o)]

Thanks for the cache. This was our eighth find on a ten cache day; our last day before heading back to Australia.

Another in this series as we headed around the island. With a few already found in and around Waikiki, we must be getting close to finding all of them.

Cleaver hide. Lots of trash in the area.

So since we were in the area we decided to head on over and make a grab for this despite the possibility of rain. Half way from the parking lot we could see some other cachers looking around, and around and around.

As we did not recognize them we decided to not disturb them and play with Bubbles instead. Tink finally made the find and moved on so fuzzyku and I went for the grab. Timing worked out just fine as soon as we put the log back the skies opened up and it started to pour.

8197. One of thirty three caches found today with Rachelhead on day five of our trip to Hawaii. Today we circled the eastern side of the island and then back down the center. We wanted to see water and we saw a lot of it!

We had a little trouble at first thinking it would be elsewhere but then we found it and felt slightly dumb. Stupid geosense telling us the wrong place!

TNLNSL, TFTC!

B-Team find and pleased to note the personal linkage of the site with #44. Not too many out in the waves today, with most beaches closed due to the high winds. Anyway, after spending a considerable amount of time in the wrong area - you probably know what I mean - I went back to basics and started the search again, but this time with success. TNLN Good Luck!
