In Inverleigh to complete the new adlab but thought I would go on an adventure to find this cache that hasnt been found in 2.5 years!! Managed to get to 400 metres from GZ in the car, then walked the rest of the way. Saw a few Kangaroos on my way in. Got to GZ and made a quick find and I was the first to stamp/sign the new log book!! Thanks for the adventure!! TFTC!!
Maintenance run to see if all is good in the caching world!!
And it is!!!
Huzzah!!!

After finding the other cache nearby last weekend I decided to drive out here, park at the same spot and walk in. It wasn’t long before I came across the gate and I followed the path to the cache. There’s a lot more water around here than last week but it sure did rain a lot. The only wildlife around was the birds, not even any muggles today.
When I got to GZ, I avoided the prickle bush and saw the cache straight away. It wasn’t in good condition. Actually it looks like it’s been through a tough time! The lid was smashed and it was completely waterlogged. The log book was wet but being the determined to sign geocacher I am, I found a spot to sign it. It will definitely need some maintenance.
It’s been a lovely walk in here this morning. Where to next? TFTC

The cache lid is broken, the log book is wet and the container was waterlogged. Needs maintenance please
Found this lonely cache after not having any love for a while. Thanks for the bushwalk!
Nice quick find after a lovely stroll down the track. TFTC and thanks for bringing us here!
A day out cruising Inverleigh with 3yo son Aysen saw us park nearby after nearly getting stuck in some major bog holes nearby. The walk in was lovely and just the right amount for a little one. A nice untouched part of the park. Thanks for placing a cache out here, what caching is all about for me.
First time exploring the Flora Reserve. Pleasant walking in nice countryside. Didn't see much wildlife - just the odd kangaroo. Will probably return when there are some wildflowers out later in the year.

Strolled across to this one after completing the new trad nearby as this fills a random empty spot on my JASMER chart. The youngest GeoKid was rather happy with himself to make the find at GZ. A lovely area to explore on a sunny winters day.
Thanks vp4 (adopted by VKC1SR) for placing this Regular Traditional - this is find 1192 for BFMC

Size is wrong not well hidden when we found it hid it better in same place lots of spiky bush es nearby
With batteries starting to dim I was dubious that they’d last the long walk, but they did. Everything is so different when it’s dark! The animals weren’t fazed by us walking through and we are glad that the dinosaurs from the nearby compound/jurassic park didn’t come galloomphing over the fence either. Tftc
I was in the area tonight chasing the unloved day on a nearby multi so of course I had go the mile so to speak (Not that it was really a mile) and grab this one while I was there.
With closed tracks I was able to get within about 400m and from there Neville_devil and I were on foot.
Once at GZ the cache was totally exposed to the sun so when I picked it up the lid crumbled in my hands after being exposed to the hot sun. Inside the zip lock bag was also ripped. Fortunately I had some spare zip lock bags so I replaced that to keep log book as dry as possible but I was unable to do anything about the container sorry.
Thank you VK1SR for keeping this old cache from VP4 going

Found It.......It was decided to set out on a Geo Journey while we where having lunch after doing the shopping as it was the first weekend off through harvest for Mr H_3 so after deciding on a direction we set off. After arriving at the closest parking point Mr H_3 set off on foot and after a wonderful stroll through the bush soon had me at G.Z. the cache was located and with the log signed i wandered back to the Geo Truck to continue our journey north. Thanks VKC1SR for keeping the cache going
After a bit of a muddy drive, poor Scarlett was put through her paces, We parked near a burnt out wreck and took a lovely walk cross country, heard plenty of birds out on such a beautiful day and came across a few flags too, kinda got a golf course kinda feel to our walk! Thanks for a beautiful walk and a great cache
Drove around a bit to find the best way in. Decided that I would walk as the roads were very sandy and I was on my own. I could bog my car really well in the sandy soil but don't think I would be that good at getting it 'unbogged' by myself.
Pleased I picked such a beautiful day for it. Trying in the wet and mud would be scary.

This cache has been sitting in the sun. The lid has perished and broken. Needs replacing. Another find by the McPhail family
Quick and easy find in a lovely peaceful spot. Another find by the McPhail family
Had a great walk in the reserve. That's what I like about caching.
Thanks for bringing me here, I would have never have discovered this place otherwise.

nice walk in almost spring weather - rain threatening. easy to find using the gps. fairly degraded monotonous bushland but did see a couple of native orchids.
Had some time after school drop off in the morning so headed off down this "neck of the woods" so to speak.
Glad I brought the 'bigger' car with the higher clearance as it was a little wet
Never been out here before and another place I wouldn't have visited if it wasn't for caching.
Thanks vp4 for the cache and smiley face
Log signed & replaced as found.

Really like this spot. Drove part way in then walked. Nice day for a stroll in the bush. We did not know this area was here but might come back with a BBQ. Thanks for bringing us here. Cache in good condition.
Quick and easy find after a leisurely walk through the bushland with Laulan and Geopup

Grabbed this one while out doing the nearby Multi.
Really enjoyed getting out the the quite bush with only birds disturbing the peace.
The container is in urgent need of maintenance, I tried to dry it out as much as I could while I was there.

Sorry for my delayed and boring log, it has been in suspend in the old app which is soon retiring so have to get rid of all my old unlogged finds.

After living away from home for 6 months, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds... Found this cache whilst visiting my parents in Warrnambool...
My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache...

A David and John retrieval. Jinky and John had been here before, but the Astra convertible was definitely not a track beast! David's 4WD was a much better proposition. An easy stroll this time. Took a cicada (plastic!), left a couple of geonickels. Replaced the log ziplock and pencil. The the top of the container is cracked from exposure, so we placed the container upside down. It does need attention though! Spooked a hare while walking back to the vehicle. SL, TFTC!
We were passing through the area and thought we will give this one a shot, we loaded it in the GPS and we headed for GZ, the track was fairly dry today, but still lucky we had the 4wd, it was good to get back to nature, thanks for the cache and brining us out here.
Wasn't familiar with this area, so I parked on the side of the road and chose to walk to the cache. A very peaceful stroll in the bush, fantastic scenery here. Really enjoyed the walk in with the sun shining brightly. Soon had the decent sized cache in my hands. Looked over my shoulder and spotted a track right next to me !!!!! Oh well, the exercise will do me good. TFTC vp4.
Bit of cruising off the beaten track in the geo action 4by an pulled up right beside cache :p love the surroundings
I have been intending to come and find this cache for sooooo long! And finally, with some time on my hands and being in need of some exercise, I decided today was the day. I parked near the entrance and wandered up the track to find this and the other cache in the reserve.
The weather was overcast but quite warm for May so the walk was pleasant. Lots of birds were in evidence but there was not much of the larger fauna to be seen. I was soon at GZ and found this simple hide which seems to have seen a little activity of late.
Thanks vp4 for bringing me to this wonderful reserve - even if it has taken me years to get here !

Found it, but we left our pen in the car! Took the magpie left a kangaroo. We thought he might like the bush setting. The cache lid has a crack in it so the owner might like to replace it. What a lovely walk and good sized cache. Thanks:)
Found this one easily while roaming around doing the nearby multi cache. The cache was barely covered so we added a little camo to keep it from being spotted by mugglebikers passing through the track was open when we went but I'm guessing it wasn't supposed to be as the other end was still shut. Tftc Tn Left some things for kids
TFTC Good hide! I love this reserve. As we were dealing with the cache, about 5 bull ants were doing their best to get to us lol they were on a stick that was abit big for them to jump off so they were zig zagging behind me lol finally they figured out away to get off the stick and by this time I moved so they went towards OhDang! He didnt care but still moved in time lol. They went right for the cache lid and crawled all over it! A couple of good shakes of the lid and they fell off. Replaced the cache, and left the ants to chase another
I had tried to do this cache previously, but wasn't prepared at that time for the seemingly long bush-bashing my GPSr indicated.
As per the cache notes, bush-bashing is not necessary.
After doing another cache nearby here, I now know the area a little better. Some of the roads are now very rutted and not suitable for 2WDs. Seems the best option is also the most enjoyable - leave the car at the main entrance by the golf club and take a pleasant 1,6km walk to the cache! Found with accurate co-ords in a pleasant muggle-free loation.
Find 21 of 22 today.
TFTC, vp4.

we found this one quite some time ago and just discovered we hadn't logged it nice spot
A few photos were taken here as we had a timeout from the AWG bushwalk to grab this one at 11:45am. Enjoying the walk through the area, spotting orchids as we went.

Found this one at 11:45 with the rest of the AWG 'gang'. What a great area and the nearby horizontal gum made for a very pleasant seat while waiting for everyone to sign the logbook.

Found with a group of fellow bushwalkers on a lovely day. Various species of orchids spotted. Despite the evidence of Echidna diggings all over the place we did not see one!
After the overnight rainfall and my history of getting embarassingll bogged this meant quite a walk through this lovely reserve. Disturbed a few roos. TFTC vp4
Took bouncy ball left jimmity cricket great cache beautiful area thanks and awesome afternoon
We visited today to find access to this cache is now blocked for vehicles by park management gates. Its still accessible on foot and this adds to the adventure. Otherwise all is good.
Like many before us, we did this cache while searching for a local multi. Was a lovely walk and we were pleased to find Miley the elf waiting for us to help continue her journey. Beautiful patch of bush land and many thanks go to friends of inverleigh flora and fauna reserve for maintaining it in such a fantastic state.
Found @1510
Like the previous finder, we had an enjoyable walk to this one. Lots of wildlife around today.
Took coloured ball, left magpie.

Found while doing the multi in this reserve, had to do about a kilometre walk as some tracks were closed by park rangers. Nothing wrong with walking around there, the ground is fairly clear and I just had to pick a quick path through all the trees.
This cache required a little bit more of a hike as the road leading up to GZ was blocked with a new gate with the cache 1km away. We took a different route we had used on Flora and Fauna and that got us within 400m. A lovely walk through the bushland. TFTC
After avoiding muggle bikers in the late afternoon picked this one up with Undermind and we were away. Drove past earlier chasing another cache. Need to be more astute when working an area..TFTC and great reserve. Re-camoed the hide as a bit exposed. TNLN
Very funny, having driven past this spot an hour earlier and waved to the motorbiking muggles, we turn up again to see the bikers were still parked metres away from the cache. We were about to give up and drive away (probably never to return to such an isolated spot) when my phone rang and gave us the excuse we needed to stay and try to outlast the bikers for possession of the place. We stared them out and claimed the prize. TFTC. Left American penny.
First of a bunch today. Nice drive through some typical Australian bush to find a nice easy cache. TFTC

Drove past this one during the other nearby cache and had to return, No problem in such a nice area.
Busy going through my GSAK database and updating caches I haven't sent a log for. Have been using GSAK to keep tabs on my finds. Thanks to the cache owners for the caches. Working my way through those caches that require emails with answers.
We should have picked this one up earlier while visiting another nearby cache.
This time the track was better after a couple of wet days, dried out and no dust.
We again enjoyed the drive and had a quick find due to the container being exposed.
Did the job and re hid the cache then away home.
