We couldnt find this one, sorry. The bench seems to have been hit buy a car, we looked found some time in the shrapnell but nothing geocache lice could be found.
Spending a fabulous day first time on that island, we had to come here to enjoy your cache and the chosen place - just great

A quick find with kiwitrecker1 and the kids whilst exploring the Waiheke Island coast line. TFTC!!
Magic views from here this afternoon. Beautiful quiet location and a perfect place for a nice drive by cache. TFTC.
Tftc! Found a ciggy for my friend and in return dropped in 2 dollars. Thanks!!
Bit of slasher gardening happened here but the clever hide was unaffected. Nice to be back on hard top after a tour on the dirt to Stony Batter. NINO TFTC

Found on a drive round this section of the Island. A good chance to stop and enjoy the views. TFTC
TFTC, lovely view and worth sitting down to enjoy for 5 minutes (if not longer!)
We parked over by it and quickly found it. Nice location and view. Thanks for cache .
THis was a secret getaway weekend for Mrs Dragon who in a fit of generosity allowed me to get in a spot of caching as it met both our needs.
It had been 20 years since Mrs Dragon had been here and I'd never looked around.
We took the opportunity to have a good look around and make the most of the day. The weather stayed fine, we grabbed some great caches along with enjoyed some great food and drinks at out of the way spots while exploring the Island
This was the 6th cache for the weekend
Thanks for the placement and cache

Out on Waiheke Island for the day with chosen1978, Butchie Bum and us. Once we had the rental car it was off to conquer an island. And another amazing view from GZ. TFTC
Fanastic views from here, Thanks for the cache, logged with Mrs Team Welsh and Butchie bum
Out for a day on Waiheke with Me-N-R-Lass. A very quick find once the muggle wagon moved on. TFTC!!!
Again another easy find, again a stunning view. Be careful crossing the street with kids. To much wineries around...
Found originally as part of Rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
This view is another reason why we came to visit with a car, can imagine cycling around here is for the fit (which we are not!) Thanks again for the hide.

Decided very spontaneous on Saturday evening to head out on Sunday to Waiheke Island. Turned out I selected a perfect sunny day. Just when I was about to return the container two muggles showed up to enjoy the view as well. Using the time given now I enjoyed the view and the sun till they left. TFTC
Mrs McMike2012 decided that it would be good to visit Waiheke Island, see the sights & find a few caches. Quick & easy find. This was the 2nd of 8 that we managed today ... obviously we'll be back to do some more another day. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #544 for us.
Not too hard. Did like and appreciated the setup for the cache. Clever and simple to keep it dry. No 1 daughter did not appreciate the ants which streamed out of it however. We al laughed..
Just curious (well, more than a little) but does anyone know how the inscription on the bench ' For Aegipan The Goat God' relates to the Waiheke Writer's Club. I can't find a connection, or are mysterious forces at work on this innocent Isle?
WHAT A MAGNIFICENT VIEW.
NO MUGGLES?? We had to wait in a queue to sit down and grope about for the cache!
Eventually got it, signed the log and left a card, took nothing.
T. very much FTC.

Not being a ‘Club’ member it was considered inappropriate to write a ten page essay on the quality, design, construction and location of the cache container. It would also be challenging to find words that would do justice to adequately describe the magnificent vista before us. Only a master of the written word such as the poet William Wordsworth could portray the beauty in a manner that would inspire travellers to venture o’er the seas from distant lands to enjoy the pleasures of a bounteous Island overflowing with tempting morsels and fine wines designed to titillate the most jaded of palates.
Found it quickly getting it out of its hiding place took longer! Well wedged in! A stunning view even on a rainy and miserable day! TFTC

We headed across to Waiheke Island today with a plan to do the sculpture trail and to bring up our 2,000th cache somewhere on the island. Had to wait briefly for someone else taking in the view, but they soon moved on and we quickly found the cache. Great views from here, thanks for the cache!
Dropped in a message in a wine bottle geocoin - Waiheke seemed the perfect place for this coin.

Great views of the fog bank out towards Ponui Island this morning.

This communication received from Capt. Mortein, Tramper Ted's cache maintenance commander:
Battle plans are being drawn up, stores demanded from the Qstore and troops mobilised,. Battle field hardened dogs are being readied to seek out and locate the enemy (although arthritis and deafness are taking its toll{ Poor old Charlie may not pass his next medical board as age is catching up on him}). Once the post arrives we will be poised to launch our assault. Sea and Land based troops will be ready, closely followed by the rear echelons code named "Charlie's Revenge". We are anticipating a gap in the weather and the Moon is in a favourable quarter. Intelligence resources have been deployed to our foreign friends in England and Germany, keeping their ears close to the ground. Medical resources have been strategically place, carrying out hearts and minds work with the locals, listening for any rumours. All is on a heightened alert, wills and NOK forms filled out and leave cancelled. Codes issued and radios on silent listening watch.
WE ARE READY TO GO!
