We continued on from Mt Gnomon. The sky was completely overcast however we were fortunate that no rain was forthcoming. Its an excellent track and a pretty easy ascent up to the top of the ridge and then an undulating stroll along the tops. Reached GZ and once again were rewarded with an excellent view. Unfortunately we could not locate this cache.
An excellent walk and a spectacular view - did it today in rather average conditions but overall a really nice walk! Perhaps one of the best tracks (PCT) in Tassie!
What an amazing view! And drop!
Found with family whilst doing the 5 hour circuit!
TFTC and the view!

Found on our caravan and caching holiday to the North West Coast.
After finding Dial One for Gnomon we continued on to find this one. We enjoyed the walk and the magnificent views. Thanks for bringing us here - The Dial Range is under valued - we would never have visited but for these caches. Deserves a favourite point from us.

Found this with some scouts I was scared some would get a little close to the edge. Thank goodness we found it and we were out if there
Having scrambled up Mount Gnomon this was the obvious next cache. It took a bit of searching, but we found it with the hint. TFTC.
(etrexer)Top views from here today .Got many pics of my home town and the back country. Thanks robtas
Nice spot, great views.
Last find was by muggles and the cache was really well hidden if a little precariously placed just above a big crevice in the rocks. Not dangerous for cachers but perhaps a little for the cache if it falls in.
We tried to block the potential danger with rocks and branches and replaced it where it was as it was pretty well concealed; in fact we looked there twice before finding it.

Cache is in good condition though has been found a couple of times by walkers who are treating the cache as a logbook. Their entries make great reading, but no where as great as the view. This is just as impressive site as the last time I visited, I can not understand why this spectacular cliff face is not visited more often. Thanks again Robtas.
Another brilliant cache location and a brilliant day to go caching on the Dial.
Enjoyed the views and took some photos whilst I was here.
TNLN thanks Robtas for bringing me here.

Found as a sort of celbration for finishing a fortnight of TAFE. Thanks Robtas for giving the excuse to blow out a few cobwebs in my head with a short forest walk....
Magnificent blue sky, no wind - a perfect day to tackle a couple of caches in the Dial Range. After a pleasant walk, a quick find and settled back to have lunch. Great views from this location. TFTC
A beatiful clear day but did not have time to stop and admire the view. A quick find as I raced past heading for Dial one for Gnomon after finding Grab a Smiley. TFTC!
took nothing. left coin. warning: maintained by forestry tasmania means no maintenance!
Our party had grown considerably (Neribil tends to adopt other walkers) and we must have all been deep in conversation because we walked right past this cache on our way to Grab a Smiley on the Dial .
Luckily we were returning the same way and we found it on the way back.
Once again the views were breathtaking and Blind Betty did a good job finding the cache, logging our find and replacing it so Neribil and I got to sit back and chill while she did all the work
Thanks robtas

Found this after doing Dial One for Gnomen with Redtag and Nerebil. We also picked up a muggle along the way who has now become a firm friend and a new geocacher. Couldn't ask for a better day out really - thanks!
This will go straight to the top of my Best Robtas Cache list! (If I ever make such a list). I love the Dial for great short walks, and this adds to the mix nicely! Just approach the cache super safely...my mind started wandering to if I absentmindedly took two steps out that way ...and that sort of made me feel sick...not that it's badly placed...it's just near a big drop...but it's on the safe side of a big rock...It's certainly a view to make you take a breath! Or take it away!
The rain had stopped, it was a cool, clear afternoon and I really enjoyed the walk (also realising how unfit I'd become over winter!)
Thanks so much for putting this one out Robtas, I loved it!
I left the Cache with a Catch till after I got back as there were people waiting with motorbikes there when I left. Hoped I'd find it OK, given I'd done this one first. Neat concept, though.

No view today. Just clouds and rain. Might have been a good thing as neither of us are very good with heights.
Another great reason for a walk up this to this range with awesome views...
After a brief stop at Gnomen, carried on and found this cache with no problems...
Dropped off a TB for someone who is musical to move on. It would have been better views, if not for the fact that our heads were in the clouds...
Thanks Robtas

Found after shortish search. Great views from here atop awesome cliffs. Be careful if you've got kids or pooches in tow...one slip would be their last. This cache definitely compliments the other Dial Range caches and well worth the visit. I did find it's (empty) sister cache...so will wait before logging that one. Many thanks robtas...another goodie for sure....Cheers.
Was up here doing Gnomon, so I thought it worthwhile to get the two new caches as well. Indeed a great view, a lovely sunny day and an enjoyable cache. Happy to take the FTF. Thanks! Took geocoin, left geocoin.
