I agree with barkingmadnz. With the hint it is almost impossible to miss, and we did.
Archiving this cache so that the area can be opened up for someone to place a much better one here. Thanks for visiting!
Spent about half an hour having a good look around for this one. I think the workmen may have found it and taken it. As mentioned in previous logs, the light in question is having some maintenance work done on it.
[ Found at noon ex the ferry, nice easy find. Things must move very slowly on 'the island' as the black tape mentioned by the previous '"finder"' is still in place.!!!!!!!! We were attending an 80th birthday and only had time for 1 find. We shall return !!! Thanks for the cache....].
at 13:25. Would you believe when we arrived there was a cherry picker with a guy removing a lamp from the pole at GZ and a foreman type watching from another truck We decided to eat our lunch and see what happened. They moved away having left a ribbon around the pole saying something like "DANGER keep away". However the cache was in place and fine
Thanks again Funkymunkyzone & Mm1968. The 2nd of yours we have found on our visit to NZ from Brisbane Australia.

Found with Kache Cat and Kache Rat. Had a swim at Matiatia before biking onto the next cache and another swim T4TC.
Found it before we left Waiheke Island by ferry to Auckland. Easy find 'Quick Cache'. No log entry made, wet logbook and no pencil. Cache needs Maintenance. T4TC
Always good to start a caching run with an appetizer. Yes, log book is wet so used papougaetan's logsheet. T4TC - M@
My fisrt cache on this marvelous island...just after debarquing from the ferry...the cache was on the ground and the logbook completely wet...so i replaced the cache and add a new paper has a logbook...TFC
Quick find, but log book is soaked, can't seperate the pages, managed to write on back page using a space pen.

First find on a day of caching in Waihake. Found whilst waiting for car to arrive, and parking attendant to move on. Good find but log book soaking.

Found by djcache while in town for the Australian College of Ambulance Professionals conference at Skycity Convention Centre.
Our second cache in NZ.
I'd love to have hired a kayak near by and gone fishing!
The cache contents is however saturated. This one needs a maintenance visit as we barely managed to write in the log. Mint tins do not make good cache containers when they are exposed to the elements.
Thanks

Quick stop ashore from "Quinella" then off to Rocky Bay.
Nice morning with a bit of traffic for ferry arrival. No problem though.

[blue]Great, a cache today that we didnt have to hike to or travel down bumpy dirt roads. Just what the doctor ordered.[/blue]

I have been coming here for three years because I catch the ferry here.came by evening to avoid geo-muggles.SLT4TC
The bus got us to the ferry with 20 minutes to spare so there was ample time to stroll along to GZ for an easy find and a bonus FTF. We had been out of internet touch for 6 days so I was surprised re the FTF.
Co-ords looked good

I was a bit slow off the mark to find this one. Had to make two trips, gz was surrounded by men in uniform the first time! Nice spot, very convenient. Definately a drive by. Thanks for the cache.
