Thanks for the cache!!
Been here before BCE (Before Caching Era), but not particularly happy on that visit as written up on NZ Hotpools web site. Quick park & grab. TFTC Took TB for trip to Taranaki
Picked this up on the way home to Gisborne, nice little hide, TFTC LTB to find its way north as per the request.
We picked up this cache after attending the Tough Guy and Gal challenge with a bunch of other Hamilton Cachers and were surprised not see any of their names on the log. Nice quick park and grab. TFTC.
someone had left a swap here that took up the whole cache, tookd that out and left something better, tftc
One of a selected few found on a drive from Rotovegas to Whakas. I'll be back for the rest another time. TFTC.
Also dropped off 3BlindEyes 'Positive Caching' Tag, but has been retrieved even before I could log it!
After my walk through hells gate ...I found a coin in this cache and took it with me. TFTC
Our first cache in New Zealand! We stopped here for soothing mud bath and soak to relieve the effects of poison ivy (don't ask) and figured this would a great place for a cache. The CO did not disappoint and we made our first find here and dropped off a TB. Thanks!
Day 21 of our NZ-Road Trip brought us up to Whakatane.
Along the road we found some beautiful Caches.
Thanks for hiding and showing us some nice spot.

#82 Yay, found it!! We loved this area, highly recommend the mud bath, it's very refreshing!!
#893 - Today we spend the afternoon at the hells gate. A bus took us from the campground to this location. First of all we grabbed the cache - a quick and easy found.
After this we walked around in the area - we heared some thunder, but the sky was still blue. In short time the thunderstorm was here - and we in the middle of the hell.. heavy rain and then.... hail. That was a nice feeling. Fortunately we are near the forrest. Wet and happy we finished the walk with a short sprint to the entrance. And fortunately we founded the cache at the beginn - then caching by this weather is not our hobby. TFTC.

9.15am. Easy find following the hint. Parked nice and close so no problems from muggles. It has been a long time since I was inside this place.
Thank you. David.

First find of the day. We had stayed at "Dinowood" (a holiday park with dinosaurs closer to the town) and wanted to go and see some thermal pools.. when we got here it turned out it was $35NZD just for a thermal walk alone, so we just got this cache and then went downtown for the free walk in the park there
No problems finding this cache though.
Found at 10:33 - #4637 - together with aedk and Difool - logged as RAD to save space and time

Back over to Rotorua for the last leg of our trip, and we headed down here so PrincessDiala and I could book our mud bath and massage package... (whats a holiday without some pampering...)
After booking and coming back out to the boys in the car, we just had to head over to this cache hide, and found it straight away!!

Quick find after checking behind a couple other power polez. No TB in the cache. TFTC.
Its hard not to look guilty whilst rummaging around in the bushes. Ironically I think a high viz jacket (and a clip board) might make me look less conspicuous. I really must think of adding disguises to my geocaching kit.
First time past on the way out to Lake Rotomo to visit my Father was a bust due to worker and tourist muggles to numerous to make the find. Came back a few hours later and parked very near the cache so Chelzea could duck out and grab. Quick spot the first visit so a very fast retrieve, sign and replace the second time. TFTC
easy find as there had been quite a lot of clearing. Hopefully put back a bit more disguised now.
Found it after our visit to Hells Gate. This place indeed deserves a geocache !

Up visiting from Hastings for the weekend, and I a back in really familiar territory. I used to live at kiwi ranch across the road, which is now known as Lakes Ranch. We used to come to this facility a lot to cook our steam pudding in the many hot pools around here. Many a trip was taken touring these geothermals with school trps and campers. Dropped off a tb to continue on. Leaving a fav point for the many memories of this place. Thanks
Stopped here to check out the local geo-thermal activity and have lunch, soon had the container in hand, SL, TNLN, TFTC and greetings from Aussie cachers
Lovely smell in this area. Picked up a trackable. Easy find thanks to the hint. Tftc Edited date as we found this Sunday 4 Aug NZ time

We have had a busy day today, traveling and stopping at places not seen before. We have covered a bit of country today and have enjoyed it immensely.
Never even new this place existed till today...geocahing sure takes you places.

Found this after doing the Tough Guy Challenge across the road. I was muddy and smelly and got some weird looks but oh well. Day 3 of the 31 day challenge. Dropped off 2 Geocoins
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
School holiday madness, needed to bring the whanau to Hells Gate, and while we were here looked for a cache. Thanks again for the hide.

Scrounged around and got it,, after little fella went, shall we say, the wrong way. Tftc!
Nice Quick find, It did seem to be Tourist central this morning. So we had to time our grab, Sign and get out. TFTC.
After a night in Rotorua to start off our East Cape Easter roadtrip we thought we had better start grabbing some caches over this way. A nice quick find, we were tempted to go and have a look at the attraction but then saw the prices and thought maybe we'd stick to some more geocaches instead
Dropped off travel bug "Celtic Navigator" (which has since been grabbed from me - really need to get onto writing these logs a bit quicker!).

I was suffering from temporary blindness with this one, but luckily my better half wasn't. Thank you for the cache. Greetings from Slovakia
Hells Gate. A great thermal zone and early in the morning, you are more or less alone... 1 TB out..
Second time lucky, couldn't find at all last year! Bush bashing ensued a quick find. Left a bookmark from Roturua's coolest book exchange. TFTC!
Soon found. Visited this place numerous times as a child. Favourite family spot to bring visitors. TFTC
