Logs
I wasn't too hopeful after reading the dnfs recently. However, it was quickly found. TFTC
Nothing to Found. We placed a new not magnetic box near GZ.TFTCLieb ' s Gruessli #12626
Could not find this one. New road railing have been placed there. Maybe the owner should check this one out.
We concur with previous logs a new rail to the bridge has seen the cache go walk about or maybe we just missed it, either way no luck today, thanks for placing it
Had a pretty good look around but unfortunately couldnt locate it today. Thanks anyway.
No luck here for us, as the previous cacher mentioned the resent works must be the reason behind the disappearance of the cache.
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Staying at the resort for a few days we took a short drive out to view the spillway, so much water here today. Unfortunately, I left without a smilie. There has been very recent maintenance and extensions carried out on the bridge (it finished yesterday) and I have a feeling the cache disappeared during the work.
A great first stop on our lake argyle adventure. Went straight to gz but managed to miss the cache 4 or 5 times. After an extended search finally found the sneaky cache! Tftc
Great little find
Filled some time while waiting for the insurance company to decide what to do with our blow up car (contaminated fuel). Thank you for helping pass some time.

Traveling north with richlink to Darwin and beyond enjoying the stunning scenery and finding a cache or two along the way. A nice spot for a cooling dip, thanks Bushies2.

We took a bit of a detour today while heading towards Kununurra with ilook4geo and stopped here to find this cache. It was an easy find in the expected place and the log was soon signed.
Thanks go to Bushies2 for placing this cache.
Thanks go to Bushies2 for placing this cache.
Picking up just a few caches around the Kununurra area and this one was on the target list. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC,
A quick find and nice view from the bridge. Thought about snorkelling in the pools of water but closer inspection showed it was all slimy and murky so we moved on to the dam. TFTC
Find 10 of 14 on another full day of 4WDing, hiking and caching - cleaning up K-town and down to Lake Argyle and back.
Last stop before the long drive back to K-town. No problems once on the right side of the road.
TFTC Bushies2!

We are spending a few weeks travelling to some of Western Australia's warmer regions and grabbing a couple of the LGAs that I need.
We were driving around while staying at nearby caravan park and we were up this way for the cracidale cache and this wasn't far away so we made the stop.
We went down to the water first to cool down then walk up to the cache.
It wasn't in the first place I checked, only spider webs in there. I kept looking and eventually found it tucked away.
This was find number 2 for the day.

First find in 2021. Great day in the Wet season sun. 4 of the 5Mice out and about geocaching for the first time in 2021 and the first time in a long time. Good easy find. No water in the spillway as Lake Argyle very low. TFTC
We did not think we would be able to search for this one as the bridge is being examined & there were 20 minutes delays both ways in queues of traffic but we spoke nicely to the wee colleen operating the traffic signal & she let us walk as far as the cones.....we may have stretched her generosity a few metres. TFTC Bushies2
Quick pickup on the way past on our way out to Lake Argyle to meet a friend. TFTC
Headed into Lake Argyle tonight for the last night in Kununurra and had a bit of time before the sunset tour so picked up a couple of the caches nearby.
Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.
We would like to thank the individual COs for hiding the caches throughout these parts, from the towns to the highways and byways. Thank you for choosing to share these locations with us and we appreciate the effort you have gone to. Thanks for the fun.

Quick drop by on the way out. Co-ords totally spot on to under the Meter. Impressive.
No flowing water ATM. Just a few muddy puddles. TFTF

Found it on our one year Trip in Australia and a day trip zu Lake Argyle. Thanks for the Cache.
Stayed at Lake Argyle last night as the first stop on the WA leg of our AdVANtures, and paused by the spillway on our way out. The video playing in the bar informed me that crocs often try swimming up here to get the fish when it's running but die from exhaustion on the rocks along the way. Nothing much here today.... Except one lone egret (always) and the cache, which I managed to grab between Cars/vans whizzing by. TFTC Bushies2
Visiting Kunnunurra for a work trip I managed to get in a bit of my favourite geoactivity.
Nice quick find on the way to lake argyle.

After heading to the border for the usual photos at a crossing we headed back and in to the Lake Argyle area. The being the first cache along this road. Took a few photos, guessing where the cache would be as we arrived and then making a quick find of it.
Thanks for the cache Bushies2.

Came out here for the afternoon after spending the morning in Kununurra.
Went down the dirt track off the side and had a quick chat to the lovely bloke and also his young pup who was staying right down near the water.
Not much water over the spillway but it is this time of year.
Went back up waited for a couple of cars the signed the log.
Thanks Bushies2 TFTC.

Out with m4yb and the Two+Four team after completing the GRR, we are now slowly heading home getting a cache or 3 on the way. So good to turn this one up the happy way. After our failed attempt last year.
Thanks for the hide & smiley

Day 29 of The Northern Adventure with megawat60 and Two + Four. Today we left Kununurra and headed for Lake Argyle. A quick stop here to grab this cache we missed on last year’s visit. TFTC!
The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 13. The road again continued West to Timber Creek and then Kununarra, plenty of roadside stops in the hyper long grass along the way.
I headed out to Lake Argyle as my first WA activity. A bit of water in the channel, but signs of plenty more in the past.
Thanks.

Well, with the weather starting to cool off slightly, i had been getting itchy feet to see more of this country and do a few caches along the way. The plan was two weeks in the northern territory but since i had not yet cached in WA, i thought i should set foot over the border and do a few WA caches as well. Then back into the NT for some caching, fishing and exploring. We are lucky to live in such a beautiful country. TFTC TNLN
We are staying in Kununurra for a few days and took the opportunity to grab this cache whilst we are here.
Cache was a nice quick find by the Cat. We then took the opportunity to enjoy the view nearby.

Tried to grab this one on our way in, but there were too many vehicles passing. A quick grab on our way out though. Tftc
Heading to have a look at Lake Argyle , came across a fast flowing creek/river. stopped took a few photos , then realised a cache was close by !! a quick grab and sign .Thanks Bushies2
On the last day of our Lake Argyle stay, heading off on the long journey home to Qld tomorrow. Thanks to Smittengranny for replacing the cache. I love the way the water cascades over the rocks here, couple of people freecamping in this lovely spot. Geodaughter made a quick find, log signed & cache replaced as found.

Continuing our travels across northern Australia after the Red Centre Experience over Easter. Came down to Lake Argyle to search for the caches as I wasn't involved in geocaching last time we were here.
I noticed the DNFS and sent COs a message re replacement of this cache. Not hearing back before today, I decided to replace it anyway as they had not archived it. So, with a new container and log in place, I added my name and hid it in the most obvious place. It had been damaged, so maybe the previous cache went missing then. Thanks for placing a cache here for our enjoyment.

I only had coordinates and no data so didn't know there had been a couple of dnf's. If I'd known Megawatt60 had preceded me with a dnf I probably wouldn't have stopped. No luck for us too with what I thought was going to be an obvious find.
Checked all the usual suspects but nothing. Too hot and too many vehicles to continue the search further. Decided to down a line in instead.
After spending a couple of days respite at Lake Argyle we hit the road back towards the highway.
We arrived at the spillway and decided to make a quick stop to grab this cache and a couple of photos.
The water was flowing quite fast through the area which was awesome to see and it was quite loud too!
Anyway thanks for the cache Bushies2
