Chewbacca72 and I are traveling during 4 months through Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. A few caches that are on our way should not be missing. This cache is one of them. Wow, what a view! Many thanks to Bushies2 for hiding. Best regards, searchersab
Logging a day late, but Happy Fathers Day for yesterday. Our last day at Lake Argyle Weve enjoyed swimming and kayaking at the lake, wallowing in the infinity pool, and especially 9 days of yoga with Wendy TFTC
On our travels we found ourselves at lake argyle and took the opportunity to grab this cache, such a beautiful part of our country thanks for bringing us here
WOO HOO - I found 'Have A Picnic' today while visiting the Lake Argyle area and checking out the Dam Wall. It took a bit to find and I also found a snake skin during my search. Thanks Bushies2 for setting up this cache. On tour with Kimberley Wild for 14 days with 18 muggles.PS: The Troll Dolls [TN6TR0] were with me on my adventures through the Kimberley Region.
A nice quiet spot for a picnic.Checked a few spots before reading previous logs, one of which pointed me in the right direction.SL TNLN TFTC
Made this one harder than it needed to be, venturing too far up the hill and to the left. On the way down I checked out a few more spots and there it was! Happy to make a find here. Tftc
We're staying in the caravan park but since we're travelling with geodog, only 1 of us could enjoy the boat tour. Today I opted for the walking tour instead. But boy, have I underestimated to walk out of here. After finding the cavhe... easily thankfully, I checked out a few freshies chilling below, hada picnic in the lovely park... now the daunting walk back to camp. At least the views are stunning and the effort worthwhile. Grabbed the TB. Tftc
Visited here 5 years ago and had a DNF, today I turned my frown upside down! Spotted a croc in the river and had the obligatory picnic.
We have come to visit Lake Argyle and have just come back from doing a cruise so decided to head down here before we leave. With two of us looking it was a nice quick find.
Thanks for the cache

Tftc - found on a 12 month lap round Australia. We are from Tassie. Thanks for showing us this spot
Traveling north with richlink to Darwin and beyond enjoying the stunning scenery and finding a cache or two along the way. This place is breathtaking, thanks Bushies2.

Found it after awhile. Coordinates were off a bit. It’s not where you first think it is
Before we leave for Kununurra, we were impressed by the outlet of the hydroelectrical works and found the cache here, thanks
Sadly no joy on this one. Lots of big rocks. Lots of leaves and lots of poking and prodding.
We saw a lot of DNF, but decided to have a go anyway. We found it just a few metres off the base directly up where coordinates take you (about 6m out from GZ) in a big rock next between 2 small (2m 1 is spikey) trees. Thanks
Third person to find this cache today. At 3pm. My NSW and Honey Bee coins visited.
Well. Started heading to find this one. Seen a lot of people hadn’t so I was determined to locate. Took a bit boys gave up. So I started the search again. From the start. Looked up and spotted it. Not as far up as I thought (or where the phone had me). But cache is still in play. TFTC what a lovely spot to have lunch and chill before our cruise on the lake.
Not sure why this had to be placed quite so far up the hill when there were plenty of more accessible spots below. Barneycache stood at the bottom watching me climb around in my jandals. Coords seemed fairly accurate in the end and cache was where you'd expect it to be. TFTC
Nowhere near where I was looking!! Read the recent finds!! Boyfriend had to swoop in and save the day
Mr M climbed all over the rocks but I spotted it as I was walking up. More like under the rock than in it, lol. A lovely area for a picnic. Mangoes were unripe and way too high to get anyway. Clearly everyone plucks the lower ones when the time is ripe. Not a croc in sight either, sadly. Was hoping to see a freshie. TFTC
Took the drive out to Lake Argyle today from where I’m working in Kununurra. Managed to snag the last few remaining caches out here. I really should have taken the time to complete them when I was here in 2019 knowing how close I was go them but alas it was great to return to this magical location.
Thanks for the find.
Co ords are a bit off here, luckily I spotted it walking/climbing up. Use hint or you’ll be searching for ages.

Find 6 of 14 on another full day of 4WDing, hiking and caching - cleaning up K-town and down to Lake Argyle and back.
What an interesting spot. The water is fairly exploding out of the outlet pipes at the moment. We drove to the end for the cache and made our way up the slope - too far as it turned out, the coords had us higher up than necessary. On the way back from GZ, Mr. O. made a painful error and didn't look up properly while wearing a cycling cap obscuring his vision - CLONK on the horizontal tree branch - laid him out for a little while with tweety birds and stars circling his bonce. Watch for that branch!
TFTC Bushies2!

We are spending a few weeks travelling to some of Western Australia's warmer regions and grabbing a couple of the LGAs that I need.
out for a morning run from the nearby caravan park. It was easy running here but it's going to be all uphill on the way back. .
It was very pleasant down here in the early morning. Still shaded from the sun by the dam and hills and they had the sprinklers going so it was quite cool.
It took me a while to locate the cache but that was good because I needed a little rest before tackling the uphill run back.
This was find number 1 for the day.

Bit of a scramble up the rocks for a old guy. Found after a while staring me in the face.

Thank you! I headed off on a two week group tour of the Kimberley, from Broome to Kununurra via the Gibb River Road, then back via the Great Northern Highway. Being an organised trip, all caching was opportunistic rather than planned.
This one took waaay longer than perhaps it should have to find. But it was an enjoyable walk to the cache, and it was interesting reading the plaques on the way about the dam and the lake.

My first WA cache after leaving the state 4.5 years ago. On a big roadtrip back home from Hobart via Darwin through Kununurra. Staying at the Lake Argyle Resort. Absolutely worth the stay A couple of rocks were the GZ could have been but found it after a quick look around. TFTC
Unfortunately could not locate this one. Too Hot spent five mins but could not locate. Car said 42 when we got back in the car. Will have to wait until next we visit this region.
We ran from the store to here this morning. Much easier running there than back up the hill.
A quick find here.

Wow just blown away by this beautiful area. We jogged down so now a hot run back up the hill TFTC!!
What a lovely peaceful spot. We sat & watched & listened to lots of little birds flitting through the trees. Thanks for bringing us here & TFTC Bushies2
Came for a swim on the lake side then visited the dam wall. All very quiet with corona virus lockdown. Lucky GEO-caching is well suited to social distancing. TFTC.
Almost beat us but did another walk through with a bit more attention to the hint and got him!! Great little cache!!!
Out here with my brothers after doing a trip up the Canning Stock route, very interesting. thanks, sorry for the late log.
Found at 8:45am after spending 3 pleasant days camping at Lake Argyle, swimming live music warm weather, lovely! SL Left pathtag took "Sloth" duck TB
Beautiful! Love the view of the river from here. Thanks for the cache. Peace out
