this one beat me! the area is overgrown. couldn't find the UPR. maybe next time.
Checked on cache today. My gps zeroed right out on it. It was right where it was supposed to be.
The place is grown up a bit. You made need to take your time to find it.
I updated the hint. It may be easier and go around to get to GZ.

Kinda tricky at night. Fun find with ruanidiot burgolicious and crippled goose. TFTC
Checked on this today. The container was laying right out in the open with the UPR spread out around it. The UPR is back - if you find the cache please put it back exactly as you find it.
Another hint - It's easier to go around back and come in to GZ from behind. You will see a nice path.
Happy Caching

Looked and looked. No dice. the area is pretty trashed. might be a good spot for a cito event. took some trash on my way out. i did find a screw on lid for a typical geocache container, but no cache. i went as far as looking at coconuts to see if one was a clever hide. no luck
Found it. Much easier to hunt for during dry weather. Thanks for the history lesson. Didn't see any plaque to indicate the historical significance. Too bad. Great cache. This is the driest one I have found on island.
This was a neat cache and one that seems to hold up well in the wet weather. Like finding ones that are dry.
We found this and it was rusted shut. We opened it up with our handy dandy tweezers, signed the log, and went on our way! Thanks for the Cache!
I actually got this one when I was on island last summer (09), however forgot to log it and when I hit it this time saw my old signature, so will log it now. TFTS Nice area, good views!
There is a construction area is close by, A break area for the workers is very nearby cache. Would recommend a weekend only seek for this cache for the nearby future.
Nuggethad2001 found it. I was getting frustrated and so was ChamorroPrincess, then **POOF** there it was. Definately needs CITO for this one. TFTC
Checked on this one today. Yes - interesting construction at the parking side. I found the cache in a moment. It's still there. There is a path that leads right to it.
Hints: It blends in perfectly & UR
Happy caching

Look everywhere. It looks like a construction crew has set up homebase at the mound. Found diapers, but no cache.
Looked all over the mound, couldn't find it, maybe because it was getting dark ?
Looked all over the mound... Avoided the diapers and still no luck. Will return....
Awesome day of geocaching events. This was just 1 of 10 stops. Lots of history as Lacee mentioned below. =)
Found the cache with sannnROX, Jarren, 671stargazer, Vio, Maga’haga and Sher_Bear. We were all up on this mound, when Maga’haga found it at the bottom of the mound. Ok not near the dirty dippers.
Stop #6 in the Team Duck Hunters' / Maga' Haga Nimitz Hill Tour 2010!! We are on the way to 25 Miracles and I map out a bunch of other PnGs along the way. It was a nice day out and we literally just all piled in my cachemobile and crawled along the Nimitz Hill road and jumped in and out grabbing everything and leaving a nice dust cloud in our wake!
We spent a little longer here than we should because we had no clue what we were looking for. In a few minutes, Faith calls BINGO! Haha, yes we were very familiar with this container! Nice!
iJosh, the Guam History buff, was telling us the reason why this was an HPI...very interesting.
TFTC!

I think Sannn forgot to mention that we circled the whole area before we got to GZ when we could have walked right in
I thought I was mentioning the history of the area, but then again, we were so spread out that he could have on the other side. What I did mentioned was that Nimitz Hill was also the place where the trials for war crimes took place along with the executions. The burials were also in Nimitz Hill but I don't know where exactly. So we were all kinda freaking out that the little mound we were on could be a whole slew of dead war criminals. Yet I think the mysterious mound of dirty diapers dumped in the area was far more sick.
I'm trying to look for the Guampedia encyclopedia entry I read..once published in the Pacific Daily News' Liberation Edition, that spoke of war crimes. The trials held in Nimitz were of war criminals from through out the Pacific. No war crimes from WWII on Guam were ever prosecuted even though there were countless atrocities, including at least three incidences of massacre against the local people. Just a little interesting fact of history.

Checked on this today. It's still there. The UPR was dispersed, so I put it back. The container has been there long enough that it REALLY blends in.
We couldn't point it out. There were many of "I know", but it seemed not to be a cache.
SL. TFTC. Found it with SexWax151. Found it but didn't know it, then walked away, then sexwax found it. hahaha
If this cache is in the original spot, than I must have walked over it 3 or 4 times last time I was here! The "you know" wasn't as "you know" as I was expecting. But with a more accurate GPS, I was able to get right to it this time.
The log was a little damp but still fine.

Went back to the spot without the GPS and after 2 years of geocaching on Guam I soon saw the obvious spot. TFTC and history lesson.
Honestly, I'm logging this a month after I actually found it. So, I really don't remember anything about this one except that I wrote down that I found it with Blygoat and Wandahfoh. I'm sure I had a great time and that there is a real good story about this...
Found with jaredbodine along with Blygoat as our guide. We jumped out of truck to start our search. We tried to imagine what was in the area and I'm sure it was a pretty neat area but now it's a pile of tangantangan like rhodesisland mentioned. Thanks for giving us a history lesson. SL and marked it with a golf ball.
Nope, I don't know. I was very confused. Was I supposed to be wandering around and inside a overgrown boonie patch? All I found was tangantangan and trash; and I couldn't even CITO the trash was I had forgotten my gloves and it was REAL nasty trash!
We could use a hint or something. thanks

We walked right over this one once and then we figured the location by the most obvious thing there. TFTC SL

Found this morning since I had some time before work. No problem with finding this cache as the gps led me right to it. Thanks for the history lesson. I love what we can learn from geocaching! TFTC-SL TNLN
