Our family farm is across the road, nice close spot for a walk on Christmas afternoon!

We had been staying very close by so we picked it up as we continued our northwards journey. TFTC.

A nice quick find here after looking around the Athenree Homestead. TFTC

We noted the car park was empty, as we overshot the entrance, so turned around just up the road and went back.
However, as soon as we pulled up 4 other cars arrived - buggar!
We waited until they had all disappeared up to the homestead and headed for gz. Fortunately it was a quick find and all done and dusted before anyone else came.

A great place to stop off and a very nicely concealed hide.
After re-hiding the cache we had a walk around the grounds before continuing on to have breakfast nearby.

The first geocaching trip for our wee family. Great fun with the kids hunting for anything that could be something. A simple and clever cache, not too hard to find.

After the local event, P. P and I decided to pick up a few caches close by.
I have definitely found a cache here before, but not this one or at this location.
I must have forgotten to log it previously, but tonight we stopped and have now remembered to log it.

Would have liked to see the homestead, particularly as Mr M5 is an Ulsterman but sadly it was not open due to construction work. We made do with finding this cache instead. TFTC
