13-Aug-22
This location was very pretty today as there was a small waterfall near GZ. Dropped TB

30-Jul-22
I headed out towards Morialta today for a walk and I decided to walk some tracks I hadn't explored before. I was regretting that decision a little as I huffed and puffed up the hill, but it wasn't long before I was rewarded with views across to the sea (and intensity minutes on the watch!). I tentatively made my way towards the area where my GPS was pointing and I soon spied the cache. Looks like a few months of unloved here! TFTC Frozen Feet.

Best approach from below. Slipped and fell down one of the embankments. No injuries, just hurt my ego. Will be back another time to have a look.

Headed up towards Norton Summit for a morning drive and grabbed a few caches along the way. All nice GZs. All found quite quickly. All in good condition. Plenty of birdlife seen but the only mammal was a fox. TFTC

17-Jun-20
After rock climbing nearby with [@Brad&Janet](http://coord.info/PR8T99X) and bella at waggy, we decided to continue on to a few more geocaches nearby at Pretty Corner. I had forgotten that there was a puzzle cache that ended nearby, since I did it the high terrain way via the bottom of Morialta, rather than the quick drop from the top of the road. So all along, I was trying to tell the two other experienced gentlemen that they were going the wrong way, but instead, we were talking about two different geocaches (who knew that we could both be right)?

So it was a short detour back to the vehicle via this traditional cache. Some minor bush bashing was required, and after some wandering coordinates, [@Brad&Janet](http://coord.info/PR8T99X) had found the cache. A nice hide. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Frozen Feet for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

17-Jun-20
Having found a nearby higher T cache this one was on the list too as it was “nearby”. Davidwazza continued trash talking the two older cachers as he bush bashed in the general direction of something with GPSr in hand. Not sure what he was headed towards, but Bella at Waggy and I just headed to the cache instead and then waited for him there. Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

17-Jun-20
After a nearby find Davidwazza convince Brad (reluctantly) and myself to this one having got it crossed up with the other Pretty Corner Cache. There was only one real problem with going down hill and that was we had to later come back up hill. A quick find in the likely spot at GZ. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Bit of "4WD-ing" to get to this one; was fun. TFTC

17-Apr-19
Took a while to find but eventually found it, we were searching on the cliff instead of at the base! Did not trade anything but logged the log book. TFTC

07-Apr-19
Found, all was good and returned back to location!

30-Mar-19
After I had found Megger Fauna I continued on up the hill to see what the Pretty Corner was all about. This walk was much easier than the one up the first part of the hill which had showed me just how unfit I am. I was glad there was a hint for this one as there were a lot of places it could have been. With the hint the cache was found quickly, signed and replaced.
I admired the view and then made the very steep decent back down to the car park. Was really glad that I hadn't come up that way, Hogan's track was much nicer! TFTC really enjoyed my walk today, iWatch says I have done 12.5kms and climbed 70 floors, brilliant day out.

As noted in the cache notes,
I've never been able to find a spot to park near this cache on me drives along the Norton Summit road.
Even on a bike ride I've not noticed a way to get to GZ [:o]
(Turns out there is one.)

Today I headed up the Woodforde Track,
which starts near “Muka Muka Rrinthi” Smile
Upwards I plodded following the track until I was only 'bout 30 metres away from GZ.

A short bushbash got me to the base of a small cliffline Smile
All good so far !!
And after a bit of staring at the scenery,
I spied the usual upside down rock,
behind which was the cache of course Big Grin

That was fun [^]

TFTC.

So Pretty. I was shown this one by my walking companion who had been here last week. Love it when you are handed a cache esp when you are basically dying from lack of oxygen.

Thanks to Frozen Feet and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

14-Oct-17
This was my 12th cache of the day, after walking many km's of Morialta over 7.5 hours. I thought I'd get a drive-by cache on the way home.

It is no drive by! This did my head in. And my knees. And my back. It was the mint after the degustation. I was so tired, I nearly let a mountain biker take me out on the narrow track you need to cross to get to GZ.

Should have done this at the start of the day!

Anyhows ... TFTC!

09-Sep-17
Many Occular Inspectors Seeking Treasures group organised a group assault on Quipu Cliff at Morialta. The Sal part of brisal loves a good walk and my Geologist geo son wanted to lick a few rocks. Surprised So arriving early at the parking area and not seeing to many free spots up the hill I decided to drive down the bottom and collect a few smilies on the way up. Cool Quipu Cliff turned out to be a DNF but now it was time to walk back to the car and collect a few more smilies. Razz
This was the first and I admit to having to peak at the hint to help make the find. Smile Thanks frozen feet for the cache. Big Grin

Found on sunset hike with chopper goodly - not under a trap door , but a pile of rocks - came up woodforde track - a nice part of morialta I had never been to

17-Oct-15
Heading up this way to take care of a solved puzzle and D/T grid combination in one hit, and this cache was on the way. Climbing up from the main path I found a sistema lid around 25m from GZ and immediately thoughs of a muggled cache came to mind. All this way and no reward? Sad

Fortunately, I found the cache sans lid wrapped in a plastic freezer bag, which has done a bang up job of keeping the moisture out. And wouldn't you know it, the lid not only fits perfectly and is colour coordinated as well! Big Grin

Thanks for bringing me to this incredible corner of the park, and TFTC Frozen Feet!

Nice spot for a recharge after walking up Hogan's track.

Headed out to this way today with sneaky squeaky and earthlight, rain held of and was a perfect day as far as temperature wise to go for this one even tho we all broke out in a sweat, squeaky was the last to leave GZ so he could film us incase someone slipped so we could have a laugh after and guess who was the one that nearly went over, maybe someone should have been filming him : ) TFTC

Mr Tardis had a nice short walk down from the top. The direct route gets a little exciting on the last few metres. I found the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?

A nice quiet and pretty corner indeed. Like many cache finds, I found an easier path to get out back to the car. I must come back one day and explore this corner of the park.

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Team Wibble.

Definitely do not recommend coming from the road, or following the directions of _magickocean!

Did it in the dark...... definitely need a torch for that! Smile

Quick late night mission with head torches. Nice little cache with plenty of possible hiding spots to examine. It was getting late, but found it quickly with the hint.

22-Mar-14
Although I wore hiking sandals it's advisable to wear closed shoes as this is brown snake country. There was in fact a wee one right at the cache. Nothing to worry about if you're careful. Loved this cache on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Not a soul around all the way up!

17-Mar-14
Clearing needs maintenance icon as cache maintenance has already occurred.

10-Dec-13
My first cache in a fairly long caching day. I parked on Teringie Drive, about 10m before the solid line, it is a convenient parking place to get to this cache from above.

As I was coming in from high, I had to pick my way down carefully, just take you time.

Quite a nice view as well. Smile

Hiking up from the bottom took us up a zig zag track showing us fantastic views with each turn. We guessed a bit about which turns to take until we came across Hogan's Trail and we knew we'd made the right choices Smile A quick scramble and we soon found the hide. TNLNSL TFTC Teal Wibble!

Found with a geobuddy (their family has an account but they are not allowed to log it as the majority of the family wasn't there) after walking a long way in the wet and the mud. We both went home completely saturated. We also "found" Giant Step but I can't log it as I have previously found it.

Every time I walk up this hill, I vow not to leave it so long between visits.. Every time, I say I will return within a couple of weeks, but I never seem to make it.. Every time I walk up this hill, it seems much more steep than the last time!! [:o)]
We took the 7km path in to here, clockwise from the opposite side of the bridge.
I had a peek at the description about two thirds of the way in so when I spotted the signpost for Hogans trail, I decided we'd take that path! Only somehow, I managed to venture off the beaten track and zig zagged up the goat tracks towards this cache Smile
The way out was simple.. If only I had have followed the description and taken the easy way in Razz
A lovely 8km hike all up [^]
I only saw the one koala on the way out after a young muggle pointed it out to me!
We'd met his lovely muggle family earlier on in the walk, who had moved to Adelaide from Texas around six months ago, and an Indian family who spoke little to no English. I had to laugh when the Indian lady (in not as many words) expressed that her boy thought the top walking track was the way out and when I said no, it's this way to the "car" park, with hand signals, she signaled back what I interpreted to be 'never trust a males directions' to put it politely Smile hahaha!
Thanks for the cache and the treasure at the end of a very long walk, Team Wibble!

The log book is still dry but the container is badly cracked so could do with replacing before winter.

Smile
