TFTC. Cache and contents are in excellent condition. Found this one fairly quickly once at GZ.
Today I did the Kate Reed Parkrun which I really enjoyed quite different to all the other PR I have done. After a coffee, snack and a rest in the car (after being chucked out of the park) I walked back in around the barrier (why on earth they dont let people park in here on the weekend I have no idea) and headed off to find a few caches. I had been really looking forward to caching here and having some time on my own. Sadly I found the park to be hard to navigate (trails mainly suited to biking rather than walking), so many fallen trees and loads of bastard prickle bushes and pollen. I decided to quit whilst I was ahead and found 12 of the 15 caches I had intended to look for. Got back to the car hours later tired, battered with hay fever and ripped pants. Oh well . It was a good caching day out .TFTC
With a day planned on foot to grab hides in the Kate Reed Nature Recreation Area [lets call it the KRNRA for short, lol even that is kinda long ha ha] i made this one 9th for my day {hoping like crazy i don't get rained out later as it was forecast for after lunch }
I found this one much closer to the track in a more obvious spot but then that was after a 10 minute search further away where my GPS wanted me [B)]... damn trees and cloud-cover ha ha
The dry log was signed at 11:33 on Thu 22/6/23 and the cache replaced as found but with a bit more natural camo so the Muggles don't spot it.

Still in Launceston we decided to head to Kate Reed reserve which is very close to the caravan park where we were staying. There are so many caches that are in here, so today instead of driving past we headed in. We attempted 13 today and can report we found all 13 attempted. It is great area so close to the city but such a shame about the gorse. TFTC
Quick find. Our listening to a great audiobook while walking my dog on an evening stroll
No hint. Cache where? Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age Where is Kate?.

We're currently spending a week or so in Launceston for a little bit of an end-of-year getaway. Today we had plans to head north up the Tamar, but figured we'd start our morning with a light walk through Kate Reed reserve to pick up a few caches we missed last time we were there.
Kate Reed is always a fun place to explore, especially with a few caches to track down - this one included! It's always nice to find a regular-sized cache too - they're becoming few and far between!
Thanks for giving us yet another good reason to explore the reserve!

Visiting Tassie from the Blue Mountains and for my last afternoon in town wanted to go gather some caches and the nature reserve here seemed a great place to spend some time. Thanks Tassie because you didn’t disappoint! Had a very enjoyable afternoon caching here and enjoying the walk. All finds were straight forward. To those that hid the cache, thanks. #5 of 11 this afternoon.
Found while out and for a walk, had to dodge a few mountain bikers but soon had the log signed. Thanks for the cache
While exploring the reserve and finding a few caches we crossed this one off our list.
All good with it.

We have often looks at Kate’s series of caches in her reserve but for some reason have never quite got there so this time we plotted to get a number of them.
Some nice field puzzles and a bit of wildlife as we worked our way around and also picked up the higher rated traditionals.
No real problems with the hides after we let the GPSr settle. A maze of tracks at some points and a few mountain bikers to dodge at one stage. We completed the various signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

Out for an early morning walk today and made the most of a cooler start and set off grabbing a few caches out this way. Continuing along the trail picking up this one after a quick detour from it and soon had the cache located and logged. Thanks madchilli for the cache and the walk through this area.
Tassie Trip Day 190 - Well with a day at the van for cleaning the junior member decided to go for a walk in the bush as the day was suppose to be a little on the damp side so it was somewhere close and a few cache to collect.
This was a nice place for a cache and it was a nice track around the day was getting hotter but alas the shade in the area provided the protection from the direct sun that had decided to shine the walk into this cache was a nice one with the reward of a quick find.
Thanks madchilli for this wonderful place to grab a smiley.

Camped at Launceston, out around town today for a few caches. Quick find, good coordinates. Cache all good. TFTC
out and about with Pear in Launceston to gather some smiley faces, TFTC TNLN log dry nice scenery and locals.
Thanks for the cache madchilli. Found with RLD4963 on a visit to Launceston. A cool, clear sunny day for the last day of Autumn - perfect for a stroll around Kate Reed Reserve looking for caches. A nice easy find, cheers.
After telling my dog to get off the track as a mountain biker approached, made a quick find. TFTC
FTF in the only game that matters! found before Gyrosweeper. Cache intact and dry. TNLNSL
OK, younger legs got Reperio to GZ first, so full credit to him. This senior cacher wasn't far behind.... An afternoon out in good company, who could ask for more?
I wasn't too reserved enough to not go hunting through Kate's bush today for caches
As me stroll continued,
I was headed for the reeds ?? [:o]
What sort or reed ??
Plant life ??
Clarinet ??
or Oliver ?? [:o)]
Doesn't matter,
I soon found this cache

Back home after being in Tassie for a holiday, now the daunting task of logging all our finds, sorting through the scraps of paper with notes on them.
Had a few days of sunshine, a lot of days of rain, ended up with just over 105 finds all up on this trip, and visited many tourist spots in the north of Tassie.
found this cache after spending the night here in Launceston
dodging mountain bikers and dog walkers all through this area.
thanks to the CO's for this cache

Hello madchilli thank you for the cache.
Junior EeePees was in Launceston doing some refereeing at some soccer games over the weekend so EeePees asked me if I wanted to join him for the weekend and see if we could find some caches while J.E.P. was refereeing. Of course I jumped at the chance to spend the weekend with such a great mate and find caches in and around Launceston.
This was my 8th for the day and the 38th for the weekend.
This was another quick find in a likely spot luck as it is now raining and a long way from the car so we continued onto the next one.
I ended up with 25 caches today and 55 caches found over the weekend and one DNF.

TFTC madchilli. This is a nice reserve, a great place for a walk, to find many geocaches. Another nice easy find, although we are now in the rain. As we headed off, I repeatedly patted down three layers of way too many pockets and couldn’t find my phone. Damn! A quick scurry back to GZ, and there it was laying on the ground getting wet! Thanks for the adventure.
Out and about caching with AlbyDangles. We'd travelled up from Hobart Friday night, found a bunch of nice WestTamar caches yesterday. We dropped off geoTeenRef for his duties at the junior soccer tournament at ChurchillPark at 8am again today, and decided to enjoy the Kate Reed Reserve this morning.

Up North to gather as many caches possible in a short period. We had determined some caches that we really wanted to get and this one was on that list because we had heard how great this area was for some caches. Nice easy find which is how we like them.

This one had me stumped but I had a feeling about a certain spot as my GPS bounced around under the tree
Apologies for the delay in posting our log. We've just had a great 16 day holiday in Tassie. Now back home on the mainland it's time to log our 108 finds of the trip.
Retrieved TB "Deadly Lifa" & will take it to the main land.

Thankyou for placing this cache it was def an easy 1.0 but still enjoyable and a good one for the geokid. Still no collisions on this bike track.... yet!
A nice easy find on our first ever visit to this area, which proved to be a wonderful afternoon for myself, the now not so miniature brat boy, and the dogs.
Many thanks madchilli from the Wacky one

I ended up going around in circles but finally found this one in the obvious place of course! TFTC.
Another quick one, we're on a roll!! Hoping to beat our record number of caches in one day and we're on target to do it! TFTC
Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Out on the GeoBike to knock over a few more of these caches. Thankfully no snakes came to visit today but oh such a bouncy rough ride! The GeoBike is not a mountain bike! Reckon there will be many aches and pains tomorrow! Talk about rock'n roll'n ridin'.
Looking forward to meeting local cachers at the Event on Saturday.

As we wound our way around the tracks of the reserve this was our last bush cache. As suggested it was an obvious hide for a cacher but not for muggles. Now back up the hill to the car. TFTC
Another cache and another bush bash - definitely getting some exercise and burning calories today! Nice easy find and yet another muggle biker. TFTC SL@12:15 #5
Beautiful morning so decided to venture into Kaye Ried to find a few caches... Appears to be plenty of cachers wandering around the tracks today
Quickly found the cache and signed the log
