Maybe didn't try hard enough. We were in the right general place and had ideas about what the hint would mean, but couldn't find the hint or the cache. There's been lots of clearing around here in the last year or so, wonder if something significant has gone missing.
Didn't find it. However I did find a little pencil on the track. Could the owner check that it is ok?
The clue had us ....... for a while, but while enjoying the quiet resting place, I had an epiphany. Unfortunately, the obvious hint object did not reveal a cache, though I did find a little crevice in it which would have hidden a pill container.
Seems a bit tricky to find - council appears to have dumped some gorse roughly where the spot should be. Will have to come back another day - good excuse for a big walk !

Finally found it in one of the first places that I looked but only after looking there several times and confirmation from a PAF as to its location (was buried quite deeply). It is great to see the effort that the council has put in on this walkway including a nice new set of steps up to the seat. TFTC
Quick walk up to the cache today. Managed to find the cache quite quickly, there's not much left of the seat.
This one took us a wee while, but found eventually in a spot I had already looked twice! Great spot. TFTc
After doing a cache closer to the road end, decided to come up here. One of the kids came with me while the other decided that the climb was a bit much and retreated to the playground. GPS said try over there so we haunted about a bit to no avail. Reading the hint and looking about, tried a couple of options (getting nicely scratched by the thorny vegetation). On rereading the hint and thinking a tad more, the solution became evident and the cache was soon to hand. As a previous finder has mentioned, bit of a job to get the log nicely rolled up but otherwise cache in good nick. Nice walk up here and a bit of a view, pity about the seat. TFTC
Found as one of a number on a steadily improving Monday afternoon. Hurrying along to make up for the time lost due to the less than agreeable weather over the last 36-48 hours. Good romp in the hills to get to here. The bad news is that the bench seat has been trashed by some senseless idiot(s)!
Find was quite starightforward. Cache found in order, signed the log and rehidden safely, as found. Major task rewinding that log!
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too

Stood staring around, then inspiration hit. No pencil in cache to sign with, does contain lego though...
Late evening walk up the hill as the mist came in at the top - much fun indeed. Very nice hide and so satisfying find. After looking a fair bit we finally went to the hint and it took us right there. All nice and dry inside, but took some effort to get the contents out (is that another reason people use tweezers?). Thanks.
Our last find for the day - we couldn't find it on the way up, and couldn't make use of the hint. Did a little detour on the way back, and as I spotted the hiding place the penny dropped. Doh! Nice little hide. TFTC!
A wet walk. Found by junior jamarua with the help of the clue. Great hiding place. TFTC
Like a couple of previous finders, I was tricked by my GPSr into searching in the wrong area. I got there eventually. I wasn't brave enough to sit on the bench; it's decidedly wobbly.
After all the time spent at Indian Outlook, I was expecting to have more problems with this one. But thankfully standing where my GPS said GZ was, and slowly looking around, I spotted the cache. Well hidden, but visible without excavation thank goodness.
Took a long time to re-wrap up the log book!

#100 Woop! We rugged up in ski pants and woolly hats, determined to find my 100th cache this weekend in spite of the weather. When we got home we made potato pancakes to celebrate TFTC
Started to search for the cache and muggle was right behind me...almost jumped out of my skin. I seat down for bit and penny dropped on the where about the cache should be
Down from the top and then up again (climb two of four).. Found after a little search.. Thanks for the cache...

Second visit to the site. Little bro found the cache exactly where I pointed out I has searched last time! A nice hide. TFTC. Cheers!
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 119. Getting towards the end of the day, but still able to find 'em. Thanks.
Took a quick lunchtime wander today - there are certainly plenty of tracks around this area. Fantastic views. A quick find today and then onwards and upwards.

Our first find in New Zealand! Big hello from Canada.
Took a little bit of searching, and our GPS had us in slightly the wrong spot, but eventually our little guy found it.

Silly GPS pointed the other way a few metres up the bank so we scrambled around in the bush up there looking for the feature described in the hint. Found a few good hidey holes nicely tucked away from the track but sadly no cache. Sat on the bench to contemplate where the cache could be when the light bulb lit up. An easy find after all. Thanks Yeetrees.
A nice neat hide. Have been past this way many times, but only just now looked for this cache.

Good one for my kids (as long as the like walking up hills) to find. Did this in conjunction with many others in the area on the walk home.
Took a while to log but collected on a caching expedition up kaukau 2 from 3 caches. Found with Ammie, Hazel & Shane.
