Stopped in on our way home from Cape Paterson for a bit of a look at the surf or lack of and thought we would see if the cache was still in it's hidey hole only to find it must have been washed away or muggled.
Looked all over structure as per two previous logs I think this is missing thanks anyway
DNF Gave the location a good going over and found nothing. Even came prepared given the rude hint but no luck. Then muggles came and settled so that was that.
I found the cache...well a plastic stick with a bit of paper wrapped around it and dont think it was in its correct spot. Signed log.TFTC
2 February 2011 | 4:53 PM cache wasn't in a container and was hanging down. Easy for me to find I guess. Have moved it away from the elements near to where I found it. Thanks
I found this one on the ground and placed it where I could imagine it was before.
Thanks for showing us this nice place. Greetings from Hamburg, Germany.

Another top spot along this coast line .Found with Annie-G. Had to wait for a few muggles to move on then had a clear go.

After doing a bit of an inland caching tour while on my way to Cape Paterson for the pprass Event, I was now heading back along the coast to Cape and this one, although rated as 5-star difficulty, promised to be a bit of a drive-by. I guess the rating is due to muggles, because they were all over the place while I was there. Even so, after doing a preliminary scan while outwaiting one muggle, I had a brief window to do a better check before the next lot arrived and was pleasantly surprised to spot and retrieve the cache very quickly. I then had to wait for another brief gap before I could replace it - all the while trying to look as un-suspicious as I could. It must have worked, because I see it's been found several times since I was there.

Thanks lkgtjm - sorry for the late log, I'm way behind with my paperwork.

Found by Peter & Marian at 1900hrs, after a lovely lunch at the "Cape Paterson New Year's party" organised by pprass. We wandered into the pprass campsite for a last minute chat before heading for home. Found this one with KI Bug quite easily and at this time of day no muggles at GZ. I believe I have hid it correctly it was a little hard to retrieve for the very reason the note is on the cache page.
Thanks for the cache lkgtjm.
Thanks for the cache lkgtjm.
What an easy find! We had spent a good deal of time on a previous occasion, investigating every little nook and cranny in trying to locate this sneaky little devil. Today however, to our dismay, it was watching us and we spied it easily from its hidey hole at 1902hrs. We feel it was definitely "not at home" on our previous visit although we are very pleased to put this one to rest as it had been nagging at us for some time. TNLN Thanks lkgtjm for the challenge.
Found at 6.00pm in the company of xambo4u and Toy Car. We decided to head for Inverloch and tackle a few together after attending the nearby event. Stopped here for a last one for the day and as xambo4u had already done this one it was only us and Toy Car. Turned out to be an easy find as it was poking out at us - returned it to what xambo suggested when they found it. TFTC
We found this cache at at 4:00pm as the 4th of 13 on our Cape Patterson afternoon. As per many caches around events, this one was already in the hands of other cachers when we arrived. Nice spot. Thanks from D, HA & A B-A.
After attending the nearby Event, I went out caching with 80Degrees and Xambo4U to find a few caches.
This was our last cache for the day. Initially we looked at the wrong piller before noticing the cache standing in clear view of everyone.
Signed log and returned it, but poked it further in.
This cache may need to be looked at for cache creep as it was in a different location to where Xambo4U found it in April last year.

We did this one late at night, just before dark. We had visited before during the time it had gone missing and reckoned we knew where to look.
We were not quite right, but close. It took a bit of effort to get the cache, and we put it back exactly where we got it from, after signing the log. A fantastic spot. No muggles today

found with geo child. wasnt sure how long we where going to have to sit around as car load of muggles turned up as I was going to put it back lucky for us they didnt hang around long. SL put back exactly where we got it from. It is a great place to visit have been here many times throughout my life. TFTC
This is now back online has been replaced but PLEASE TREAT THIS AS YOUR OWN CACHE AND RE HIDE IT THE WAY YOU FOUND IT AND USE EXTREME STEALTH WHEN RETRIEVING AND REPLACING thank you and enjoy
Will be going over this way soon due to family Issues we haven't really gotten out and done much will try to do asap.
Probably gone missing down the down pipe,or someone hasn't replaced it properly and its been found, will have to check soon
We have been travelling along the coast here and stopped in to have a look. I thought that there ought to be a cache here and lo and behold there was. Easy find as I had the height of Jim to help retrieve - quick sign and put back before the other visitors got back to the carpark. TFTC

Thanks for this cache, last time we were here it was to scatter my father's ashes, so it was great to visit again on a happier, sunnier day. This was the second cache for the day out with my sister & her kids. Knowing this spot from childhood holidays, we were anticipating all sorts of difficult scenarios - fortunately our worst fears weren't realised! RobMc and my sister found the previous cache, so it was only fitting that one of the boys & I worked together to find this one, a clever little hide.
We had all been here before, but the view is always worth seeing again.
We were looking a bit closer to the infomation this time though.
Despite the clue is was the second smallest of us who found the cache, although the tallest was needed to replace it.
thanks, Robmc.

After a great night, we headed home the long way because we wanted to revisit this area and collect a long standing cache hidden by a friend. As a bonus there was another cache here as well which we hoped to get. Now I do not know what there is here but as soon as we arrived there seamed to be a steady stream of visitors arriving here. After reading the previous logs we figured where we should look and it was not too long before the cache was in hand. Putting it back was the problem because of the steady stream of tourists. However an opportunity arose when a minor altercation occurred in the carpark and everyone's attention was diverted. Thanks LKGTJM for the cache.
Looked high and low for this, but no luck. Lots of people around made it a bit more difficult. Will come back and try again.
I pulled up to the carpark and saw the structure and thought, this won't be too hard as i've done a few like this before. An hour of searching later, in between muggles coming and going, and I had been beaten. I searched vertically high and low and saw no evidence of a cache. Must come back some time to conquer this one. In the meantime the views were fantastic.
We pulled in here to find the car park nearly full with one car and it's sole occupant looking directly at gz. We headed off and read every bit of information around the place twice but he still didn't look like leaving so after nearly 20 minutes we decided that we would have to return another day
Had to hang around and enjoy the views for quite some time before we had right of the gz, clearly the perfect place for the tourists to sit! Worth the wait, cache in hand relatively quickly, though could be difficult for some. TFTC
We now have a personal TB to track the km's travelled while caching so just dipping it in to catch up on the km's

Wow, talk about tough!! I had tried for this one this morning but the muggle traffic was unbelievable and even included a young family who decided to have a picnic a few metres way from GZ .
So, I came back later today with an idea of what to look for from my first pass. There were marginally fewer muggles this time, which allowed me some time for searching between the stream. My original assumption of where it was turned out to be incorrect but in checking that, I spied the stash and had it in hand not long after at 15:25 . I was even able to nab an FTF(itNLB) .
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks LKGTJM.

Pulled up and muggles where sitting at gz, only had to wait for 5 minutes before they left. Then the place was ours. Log is still wet.
Cheers Bushtrakker.

Found by Mary & David at 0845. We'd had a look here yesterday afternoon. Turns out David had spotted the container, but it was not in its proper place so he didn't recognise it for what it was. This morning he did, and retrieved it easily. Last night's storm had done its worst though, and the log was sodden. Managed to leave our log ok, and put the cache back where we thought it needed to be. Email to owner follows. Our thanks to LKGTJM.
2nd find of the cache run and 2274th total find at 10:54.
A quick find, despite dodging a steady stream of muggles.
The cache is extremely wet, and we are sorry but we couldn't spend the time to dry it out.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing (Screwdriver wouldn't fit)
Thanks LKGTJM for the cache.

Happy Birthday to Anderka & her twin J - it was a troupe act finding this one. Having had a great birthday lunch at the Cape, a few GZs to work of the spoils. Kids & cameras provided the perfect cover as Anderka spotted & her twin retrieved...Kodak moment over and the GZ returned under similar antics.
Fantasic spot - thanks for bringing us here!

16:07pm (found with Ywurry) Kids, monkeying around and a camera created the perfect cover for this very busy site. Cache was cleverly hidden. Well done. TFTC.
Found at 1630 hours, took some to find as it is a great hide.
I don't think this cache is going to be muggled due to the hide.
Great views definitely worth the 480 km drive I did to find the 11 caches for the day.

This cache is definatly still here as it was found on the 27th/11/09 it is a good hide please take note it is a micro i have upped the difficulty due to DNF's used to live in this area and this particular lookout if frequently patrolled by police. You wont find this cache unless you look in the right place.
Can you check this one again ? We checked every nook and crannie for it and rechecked again with no luck.Reports of driking sessions involving locals happen here ,maybe its gone?
Spent quite a bit of time between muggle visits and still could not locate it! One group sat in their car, right in line of view and watched for what seemed like hours while we took triple note of every possible poster, sign, view, vista or whatever to kill time. In the end it was too hot and we gave up. Will have to return with a new attitude soon.
Found on lunchtime, used to fish here before the marine park.
Had looked for this one last year, this time lucky. signed log.

Enjoying our annual Easter break at Cape Patterson Caravan Park. The 30 year tradation looks as if it will continue as my daughter and husband have now got their own site. Out and about with fellow cacher pprass. Great weather which meant lots of muggles in the area. This is a special place as we go to the dawn service each easter here. Very clever little hide. Cat's tender touch came to the rescue again. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found at around 3.00pm GAFF3 in the company of xambo4u. Just a few metres from our own cache and a tough little micro with all of those muggles around. This spot is just a magnet for tourists as it is so impressive. Thanks LKGTJM.
