Logs
#302.Located this one with a bit of searching involved with RoyalW1979. The hinted object is a different color more brown gray like a rock. TFTC.
I had tried for this the other day but could not find it.The phone was bouncing around a bit both then and today, but Emantis spotted the well-camoed cache.Maybe the hint is outdated or the green was not present and was gray when we found it. Cool camoflauge, either way.Cheers.Sleepy was here!
On our way down from skyline trail we spotted another cache to pick up. The area soon became a new fav spot for kids to play fp as a non local had to Google the hint. At second spot found not super dry anymore but ok to sign. Thanks so much for placing, maintaining and leading us here. We came back more than once during the summer to play here.Apologies for the late log. It appears that we are nearly as bad as armchair loggers??. We actually DO go out and find the caches but because we plan to write up longer and nicer logs at home we also can (read: often do) forget to do so. We could blame the teen and toddler, but travelling the world then moving into a new country unexpectedly (NZ) means we were always busy and now have 500logs to catch up on ?? they are all from drafts so the date of the log will be when we actually visited (not today) which will align with the physical paper log but not CO receiving this email.
Decided to come search again. This time with much better coordinates. Also it was a lot less muddy. tftc
Looked for awhile but couldn't pinpoint the location of the cache. Didn't help that my coordinates were not working
Visited this park early this morning to pick up a oldie on the other track, but can't resist a cache only a couple hundred metres away! And a boxhill to boot. Great spot, thank you boxhill. All cosy down here.
Last cache for today
I had just come off the Skyline Walkway, and although I wanted to keep walking [even further than I already did](https://coord.info/GL192GWPP), I also knew that I had to get back somehow so took the side trail down to Johnsonville for the bus I needed to take. But on the way I passed this cache and was relieved that it was a very quick find and all dry in its triple ziplock bag. Just watch out for that branch!!
Thanks for a nice easy cache in a peaceful spot to finish my day!

Circled a bit before landing in the correct spot, but still a relatively quick find. Would be a lovely spot for a picnic on a drier day.
The camouflage really blends in. Initially I was going to lift it up to search for the cache. Continued up the hill to see what we could find in the tunnel.
Tried this a while back and failed mostly due to it being completely muddy and gross out. It was much nicer and drier today. Looked at all the wrong hint objects before finding the right one a bit further out than expected - I disagree with the cacher below, my gps was much more accurate than the map for me.
Also, love the camo!
Also, love the camo!
Nice patch of cooler bush on this sweltering day. I told D we had to depart as the cache had *please leave* on it, but instead she just groaned and carried on signing. Thanks again boxhill!
Lovely exploring this piece of bush on a hot day (don't say that very often in Wellington!). I persevered in the face of terrible puns from barefootguru. TFTC boxhill!
After searching around every hint object on the wrong side of the stream, I finally realised my error. Quick find after that. All good, tftc!
After finding GC43P2C youngest son and I found a trail leading into the bush and decided to follow it to see where it went. We enjoyed exploring the trail, passing some mountain bike jumps, spotting a fantail, hearing the 21 gun salute, and then we realised we were nearing this cache. As we got closer to GZ the phone struggled a bit, so we switched to the GPSr which led youngest son right to the cache. As we made our way back up through the streets to where we'd parked the car we were surprised to see a vehicle with the licence plate C4CHE - we wondered if it belongs to a cacher or if it was just a random coincidence! TFTC
This was our first find with barber_roets back when we didn't have the app. We have returned today to sigb the log as ourselves. Awesome cache, thank you!
Took a while for the GPS to settle down but a quick find using the hint. All nice and dry. Lots of Tui around today.
Easy find at the end of our walk. This was very wet and leaked so tipped all the water out and tried to put back in a way to stop getting wet again.
How a logbook goes from saturated to bone dry in 10 days is beyond me. Still space for quite a few more names as well. The outer case has no bearing on the condition of the actual container. Anyway since I came to check on it I changed the logbook.
Hint helped me zone into right area, so soon found. Almost missed the camoed cache as the fog at dusk made it a little dark, so it was harder to spot.
Cache needs a little maintenance - outer container damaged and log full - can still use its back cover thou. Original log was totally saturated so it got a dry in my car with the heater. Now tucked away back in its home. TFTC.

1. Outer container damaged. It looks like someone didn't know how to open it and used force.
2. Logbook full - was saturated and not signable, pages have been separated and dried, so a bit of life left in it - a bit shabby now. Some signing spaces can be found where random ink fade-out has occurred due to water damage.

Cheers. Found this relatively easily. Though GPS was playing silly buggers a bit
No luck for this one, a tree has had a number of branches fall down by the GC but no cache
Took a while, but found eventually laying on the ground. Have hung back up in the nearest tree. TFTC
Find today during we walked the Northern Walkway. A Chinese man played a flute not far away. Box is in a good condition but the log is wet.

Tricky find in the half light of evening. All good here. Log book damp but signable. TFTC
Found it.
A nice morning caching, hopefully before the weather changes.
Nice quick find. Slightly obscured on rehide, I found cache quite exposed and uncovered.

A short walk up from Truscott Ave just following the GPS and not really knowing where I was going (probably not the best way to use a GPS). I got within a few metres of GZ and spent probably 5 minutes following the GPS's indecisive direction. Deciding that wasn't working I went to the hint. That wasn't super helpful so I continued looking for suitable hides. Then, surprsingly, I saw a camo bag just lytng there and not even close to a location where it could be tucked away. Unsure whether that was intended I signed and left it as is. TFTC,
Was a bit dark when we got there, but after not too much looking we stumbled on it. Grabbed our first tracker, kids are stoked! TFTC.
Logbook down to one page left.

No luck for me. Looked for about 10 minutes and then two people turned up and started canoodling in the picnic area so I made my way out of there.
Nice find. Did with KateNahu. Didn't know this little park/picnic area was here!

Good hint made for a quick find Not sure about the Sherwood Green hint The camo bag looked brown to me - or have I forgotten the details of the Robin Hood tales?
Amazing picnic spot. Signal got lost but I managed to find it after 10 minutes of looking around.
Thanks form Prague =D

GPS took me quickly to the hint object but it's gloomy under the trees before the sun reaches the valley. I'd twice moved items directly in front of the cache without spotting it. Got it at the third attempt, having approached from the other side. Thanks for the cache
The sun was starting to go down so I forced the pooches out for a quick bush walk and made a visit to this lovely spot. All peaceful here tonight. TFTC
This is a nice peaceful spot for a cache - a quick find, all in good order. Thanks for the cache.
