More and more countries are now opening up for traveling. I took the opportunity to make a short trip. To visit some places, I’ve been visiting a long time ago. To see if anything has changed but also to find some caches. Maybe also meet some fellow geocachers. You see, the world consists of two kinds of people: Your friends, and the ones you haven’t met yet. And I was lucky to extend my list of friends during my trip.

I had a short stop here in Adelaide 10 years ago, on my train trip from Perth to Sydney. Now I wanted to explore some more of the city. I walked around a lot and found some caches and met some wonderful people.

No backpackers but many delivery trucks... I managed to grab the cache and sign it.

Find 33 of 33 on a busy caching day - out to Mount Barker for a bush walk, Hanhdorf for lunch and an Ad Lab, then e-scooting all over town for the afternoon and finally out to Port Adelaide for a FTF.

After a succulent Thai meal we wandered back replete through the lanes. We had this one to ourselves and knowing the co-ords were out, it was a quick find.

In the area for a night out with the lads. Confused at first but after branching out I found the fella. Thanks

GPS jumped around and GZ was off. The hint is spot on and don’t get distracted by nearby A/C. Cool street. TFTC

Tftc well that got us thinking. Great hint and worth reading the logs.

After getting off the Yorke Peninsula bus at the nearby ACBS, I had time to kill before my ride arrived so I spent the time trying to find some caches.

Looked around for a while, but it wasn't till I read the previous logs that I figured it out.

Coordinates were a little off but eventually I made the find.

New log book in good condition.

Put the signature in the log book and returned the cache.

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 10. I managed to put one day of the break between work and caching in the Riverland into a day walking around the City. I did several Lab caches and a whole bunch of City caches, including some of the multis. It was not too hot, but I seemed to walk for ages. I finished the afternoon pout by the entertainment center for more labs.

I too fell for the wrong hint item, much closer to GZ than the real one. I cast around for other options and came across another one. Happily the cache was there, but it is quite wet.

I think I found it - log book is soaking, and tin isn’t disguised, just hidden. Also about 30m from coordinates on map, but have been to this location more than 5 times trying to find and this must be it. Suggested maintenance from owner.

Finally nabbed this one after a couple of visits! The GPS was a bit out and I thought the "A.C." reference was for another thing nearby. I always looked here till I finally noticed something else. Gee that should have been easy in the end. TNLN. Cheers.

GZ is a no standing zone but there was still a dude parked there so we stopped on the other side of the road with our bikes but geez over a dozen cars came past and gave us all a look to kill.

Alas we didnt find your cache although we understood the hint and used the coords listed by others.

Got to love caching trips! Tankengine and I are in town to visit family and also to of course grab a few caches as well. This morning we thought it would be a good day to come into the city as it is Sunday and should be a little quieter. I had a great morning of caching, sight seeing and experiencing Adelaide City.

This cache: I was around the coords I had and saw the wrong A/C hint, so searched way too long in the wrong spot. After reading another previous log someone had updated coords which helped a great deal and then we found the hint and cache at the same time. Tftc Team Waldron!!!

Updated coords in other log helped. Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 on our SA Road Trip! So nice that the borders are slowly starting to open! Thanks Team Waldron

Another cache where my TOTT (toddler of terrific talents) came in handy, he is getting really good at this game - now if only he could find his own shoes and put them on himself when we are leaving the house in the morning!

The cache where I though it was originally was not where it was located

Though the gps on my phone led me a little away from it, I have now found it

First one, tricky

Christmas Day is the perfect day for inner city caches.
Didn't get a great deal of time between family occasions but enough to grab four caches.
Awesome hide... very sneaky!! Added dry log book.

Tricky one, I found what I thought matched matched the hiht and couldn't find the cache. Found the hint again up the street and quickly had CIH. Log wet and unsinkable. TFTC
