As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Found a part of the log and the pencil on the gound but the cache itself was nowhere to be seen unfortunately
Well I'm taking this as a found as I found a bit of the log and the coloured pencil used to write it on the ground. No sign of the cache though.

Nice quick find while traveling thru.same but NO numbers to use to find your other cache Heart of Southland.
Today I made my way further south from Queenstown to Invercargill. It was a great and sunny day and I enjoyed the drive and the scenery as much as all the caches I have found along the way. Thanks to all owners for the great fun!
A hard one for me because of many muggles. Got there in the end with a bit of patience and an innocent face.

A great little hide, as we hit the road for a night's stay in Fiordland. A nice peaceful corner of Winton, especially at this time of the year. Love the rotunda! Nice little cache - the hardest part was getting it back after we'd signed the log. A car load of muggles drew up with the worst possible timing, which caused us to have to enact a super stealthy return. Cost us some time, but we got it back. Took nothing, left bean. Thanks for the cache, GYARGH. Happy Boxing Day!
Found on the way to Te Anau. To a Cauck, the public toilets across the street were impressive. TFTC.

I didn't realize this was half of a multi until I came to log it. Would have spent some time looking for the other cache if I had but now we're in Te Anau and I don't think we'll be coming back this way. Thanks for the cache as it helps keep a record of how we've travelled around New Zealand on this trip.
Caching up the west coast of NZ in the rain and cold. Finding a few caches along the way.
TFTC Happy Cachin enen in the rain!!!

Thanks GYARGH

Our 6523rd overall find.
Found on the "Gangsters" NZ Mega 2012 trip with steeba, The Rats and Farmer Frentzen. A quick stop for this one, after finding nothing suitable for lunch in the pubs we headed elsewhere.
Thanks GYARGH for the cache. Stats for our trip can be found here http://www.campersdownunder.com.au/geocaching/NZTrip/stats2.html

No we did not miss it while travelling in company with Pprass. We walked through the lovely little park where the gardens were being tended by local employees and then enjoyed a hot chocolate at a nearby bakery.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt GYARGH.

Found this neat cache on our Blitz of the South Island while here for the mega event.
Many thanks for the cool cache.

A steady drizzle kept the locals out of site and made this a nice easy grab. Tftc
A short break on our way to Queenstown today saw us stopping in this little park for a quick cache. The wind encouraged us to find it quickly, and by the time I had my compass calibrated, The Marble had found it. TFTC, GYARGH. =^.^=
What an attractive town, but small as you said. The cache was found quickly - we liked the garden nearby, very nice with the sun on it. TFTC.
A nice quick find in front of a very interesting building, although you wouldn't want to be short for this one! Thanks for the hide
We were starting to be pressed with time, as it had already taken us 8 hours to get to this point, So it was literally a park and grab mission. TFTC.
Another great find on the Emvy_Us / Waiiti20 mega tour of the Southern South Island. TFTC
Found with Emvy_us on our southern tiki tour while attending the Dunedin Mega. TFTC
Thank you troytofind for sorting this out, have wanted to clear this from my map for ages
I have replaced cache with a larger container and placed in the "big one" at the cache sight. Log book, pencil and a few items to trade are in the cache. Hope this last's a bit longer.
W e are the eighth people in a row not to be able to find this cache. It needs checking.
Was not blinking looked in and about the two big ones by the wall but did not find it. Either not there or well hidden. On a trip to Qtown/cromwell/ Ingill.
Had a good look and small ones even climbed up to search but couldn't find cache. white-rose

No luck for us today ... but a very nice area so we didn't regret stopping on our journey from Te Anau to Invercargill.
Only new to all this marlarkey. Couldn't find it and wondered if it had been trashed.
Was a pipe leaning against a tree, looked like someone used it to climb up but I didn't see anything
Quick park and grab on a round trip through western Southland. Didn't blink but nearly forgot the coordinates! Salamat!
heh heh heh Number 1000 today. Wow.
Nice easy find on the way through to Queenstown. TFTC

Strangely this is described as a multi and yet is a trad. We found a micro on the ground in a spot obviously unintended. Rehid it where I thought it should be not far away. Nice little park though. Gave me food for thought for our front yard which is probably a similar area.
Thanks
Thanks
I thought of all the possible places and then found it in clear view where I didn't expect it. Couldn't see and clue to a puzzle cache, but the original log is in poor condition.
Decided to have a day down south Geocaching, easy enough find, log could do with being replaced.
Decided to stop in Winton and do a few caches on our way South to Invercargill, saw this one and had to do it as it had a waypoint to help me find a puzzle. Arrived at GZ and was able to park within a few metres of the cache. Thought to myself this may take some time, so off we went BUT to our surprise we found the cache within a few second. Managed to sign the logbook although it was a bit damp. Also managed to extract the information that I wanted. Another nice little spot for a cache, thanks for bringing us here, TFTC TNLNSL (2956)
We didn't blink so we not only didn't miss it but found it as well. Lovely park in a lovely town.
TNLNSL although struggled to find room on the log to sign

Had tried to find this one previously but without GPS, were in the right place, just didn't look hard enough. TFTC Needs a new log.
The wheel and map have been moved to an unknown location. Area has also been fenced off
Found the cache no problem with Carolyn! Didn't have anything on me to leave as a new log. Does need one though.
3rd time lucky for this one. We've tried for this one several times & there were always muggles. This time no one was around. TFTC
On our way round trip to and from Invercargill (not on the Guzzi today) dodging and geocaching between down pours. All rivers flowing full from bank to bank. Log book full. Needs replacing urgently (if next cacher brings a strip that can be curled up in film canister that would do the trick).
Nice convenient location for the cache; a good spot to stop for a short rest and to pick up the cache. Caches like this made the drive from Invercargill to Queenstown fun and interesting. Also picked up half the coordinates for “Heart of Southland” so that added to the geocaching fun! Thanks GYARGH for the cache.
on our holliday driving thourgh the north and south island we also stopped by this one.
Thankx for this one
we had a blast what a beautiful country, now logging the caches sitting next to the fireplace it is way colder than there. I miss walking around with my shorts and flipflops
greetings from the netherlands

Found (12 of 14) today with WB-Holden at 2:00pm. On our way from Queenstown to Invercargill today with the weather clear. Cache found easily using hint and collected second lot of co'ords'. Thanks Gyargh.
Found: 23/05/2010 10:15 . Find #58 for my SI road trip. I was worried that the occupants of a campervan in the rest area might spot me but I parked the NZ RhinoMobile to block their view and left the GPSr in the vehicle for an easy find

Wazza and the Wenches have invaded NZ on a (caching) holiday. Surprisingly the Wench is happy for BBTD and Wazza to chase caches wherever we go...
While the Wench wandered the shops looking for something suitable for a very late lunch (3:30pm), BBTD and Waz retrieved the cache and signed the log.
Thanks yet again Gyargh.

Quiet at GZ today. The township looks in good heart with some upgrading on the street opposite. TFTC
Nice little town, and very pretty oval. Found cache despite muggles in the park. TFTC
Thee was a pile of wood chips by GZ, making retrieval very easy! The log book was chocker.
