Arrived at GZ to find a few scattered remnants of the cache. Container and log book not sighted. Message sent to the CO. Appears another one lost to vandalism
I had an hour to kill before a meeting today, and with lovely mild weather outside, decided a walk through Kingston Heath Reserve would be a nice way to settle the thoughts beforehand. Reading through the description, this was clearly my kind of multi.. several waypoints, all within walking distance. Despite the previous DNF, I was curious to learn what mysteries this park had hidden away, so decided to give it a go anyway.
Loved the variety of waypoints - although as others have mentioned below, the sign at waypoint two is gone now... minor change to the text will suffice, as just counting the types of dog exercise equipment in the park provides the same correct answer.
Finally, on arrival at the GZ I was not really expecting to find the cache given the "needs maintenance" attribute and previous DNF, but had a crack anyway.. 5 minutes later, success!! Cache is in good condition, very well stocked with swappable goodies, and still well hidden.
Thanks for an enjoyable walk through the Heath!

My 18th find of my 29-multi February challenge. I found this one after inquiring about flights to King Island, as well as my first time in Moorabbin. After I easily figured out the coords I was guessing with the nature of GZ this would be a really difficult one but I quickly spotted it. TFTC
Went with the family and PsychicTurtle
Had a lot fun with the Geodog (Cookster the wanderer)
Loved the cache did heaps of swaps.

Second time is the charm. While geokid practiced soccer nearby, I headed back to find that fourth waypoint which had eluded me last weekend. Some help from the CO and other recent finders helped. Thank you!
This was my first geocache using the Garmin etrex 20 and I am still getting used to it. But it was fun! Left a trackable that we found in Griffith Park in Los Angeles, CA. Signed log and took a rubber iPod eraser.
Good times!

A great multi and a nice park to walk around on a warn Saturday afternoon. Found all the way points despite the Dog Park sign that has been replaced with a new sign that shows NO types of equipment. Not too hard to work out what the number is. My GeoSon picked up the Trackables and dropped in a couple of swags.
A great series. TFTC

Tftc had to use the intro app to input the waypoints. My first ever multi. Thanks a lot
Lucky it was a lovely afternoon and I enjoy a walk in this park as this cache took longer to find than it should of. I had taken a photo of the first plaque some six months ago so I was able to head firstly to the second waypoint. However the expected sign is no longer there. Took a guess but found myself wandering around the park. Came across a small pond but couldn't find a plaque. The only signs I saw of plaques were those that tell you what the trees are, and even those were gone. Disappointed I headed back to the car, then I saw the pond I should of been at and that had the plaque I needed. I then sat down, enjoying the good weather and worked out what that missing number should be. Thinking I might have the right coordinates I headed in the direction of what I was hoping was GZ. A short moment later I had the cache in hand, a small toy left outside of the hiding place was my clue to the find. Signed the log and put it back into its place. TFTC and a lovely walk around this park.
I experienced a catastrophic technology failure shortly before approaching the initial coordinates a couple of weeks ago, so it was nice to have the opportunity to try again with partially rehabilitated equipment while in the area today. It really is attractive parkland and well-used on a Sunday, it seems. The necessary information was gleaned without major issues. (Although the location at WP2 was so crowded I punted on, and got away with, a guesstimate.) It's always nice to duck into the sort of terrain found at GZ when searching for a cache methinks, and the container was located after a brief search. Thanks a lot Squalid!
Great little multi.
Great to see the different locations of a favorite park.
Dog exercise sign is gone now but easy enough to count.
Found Travel Slug...will continue the journey.

Suscoe's 27th find of the day.
What a delightful park.
We enjoyed the wander and also found a few other caches along the way.
A few dogs about but all pretty well behaved.
A few planes flying overhead too.
Thanks to squalid for creating this multi, nice work.

Found in the company of GJMMelb and quiet1_au. We seemed to have tackled the caches in this park in the wrong order, doing this multi last which led us to parts of the park we'd been to before while looking for the nearby traditional caches. Lovely park though, with great weather, so we didn't mind. A quick find in the end, by G. TFTC
Headed south again we stopped to tackle this multi-cache that G' of GJMMelb and I had passed on last time we were in the area tackling previous finds by our third team cacher lochb, but today with all three of us needing this cache find we took the time to enjoy walking in these parks in the wonderful autumn weather some more! The information was gathered without much problem - except that the dog exercise sign has no activities listed that we could see, so we presumed it was the same number as there were different "stations" which worked just fine. At GZ, G' made the find, being closest, but I think all three of us spotted the hide more or less at the same time. TFTC
Last find of five today. Nice simple multi to end the day with. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the hunt! TFTC!
Always love a multi cache..found with Team Simes! Couldn't have did this one without Merkuri our decoder.
Did not find. Fun waypoints, but second waypoint sign is missing/wrong. Deductive reasoning from the coordinates gives the only possible right number (can't be zero as sign might indicate). Lots of rubbish and debris around final coordinates.
This took us for a nice sojourn through a park our little group had not visited in many years. With some quick coordination we navigated through the waypoints and onto the hide. After a quick look around, we had the cache in our hands. We thought this one was a little exposed so some cover was secured to obscure it from the track. Thanks for the cache!
A bit more effort required on this one as it has a couple of way points involved. Got there in the end and found the prize.
Found 1/4 in this park today. This was my only find. This was despite the second clue seeming to missing. I couldn't see any sign with the number of dog exercises on. My uncle thinks it might be a new sign (see attached). I counted the exercise units and it seemed to give the right answer. Cache was dry and in reasonable condition. Thanks!
Find #663
I have spent 10 years in the area (from Southbank to Mordialloc anyway) but shamed to say I have never been this park which is heaving with a great variety of sports. I made a real meal of this one to be honest but it was an enjoyable wander all around the park in any case. I made mistakes from looking at the wrong formula for a particular waypoint, to punching wrong numbers into the phone, to not spotting the obvious error on the sign. Still, it was easy enough to work out and the mistakes were just carelessness. It gave me a little extra walking which wasn't unpleasant. I still had a bit of looking at GZ but made the find in the end. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks for a great multi and for the cache squalid.

Came this morning to clear the caches in this beautiful reserve. This multi was the last to be completed. An enjoyable walk around the park, especially the doggy training equipment - as I had never seen this type of equipment before.
Had no problems finding the cache. My angle of approach to GZ meant I spotted straight away. Thanks for all work gone into setting this cache up. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Cache zombified.
First multi I have ever gotten around to and very enjoyable. Beautiful park to wander around gathering information. Cache was exposed so covered it a bit. Cache in good order.

Find #103. Found @ 16:15 with GeoDad SirJ-Oz.
I really liked all the working out. SirJ-Oz saw a dropped pen so he knew we were in the correct place, I picked it up and threw it out so no-one else got that clue.
Thanks for the cache Squalid.

Find #1448. Found @ 16:15 with skirrel.
The Good Lady Wife suggested that I take skirrel on a caching run while she and youngest geocachelette ran some errands. This was the second of 3 finds in the area.
Skirrel enjoyed working out all the numbers as we wandered hither, thither and yon upon the heath.
The sign described at the second location seems to be absent, but being able to count meant that it didn't inconvenience our quest.
Took trackable, left nothing, signed log and visited some other trackables.
Thanks for the cache Squalid.

Nice walk through a great park.
For those who can't find a sign at waypoint 2, counting the pieces of equipment instead worked fine.
GZ felt a little exposed so I was glad no-one went past while I was retrieving the cache.
Dropped off TB, took geocoin.

Very nice multi in a lovely park. We just stopped here with our motor home as we needed a place to have lunch and found out about the caches here! The only "problem" we encountered was the missing sign at WP2 but observation and common sense gave us the correct outcome. Cache was easily found and in good condition. Took TB left GC.
Last time I was here, I had gotten all the traditionals in the park and the clues needed to get to GZ. But I ended up having to abandon this one as it was starting to get late. So I came back to finish it off today. As I walked around in search for the cache, I stepped on something hard. I looked down to find out it was only a stick but next to it under some camouflage there was the cache. TFTC
Find #1 for the night. This takes you for a nice walk through the park, along with the munzees we got some good exercise
Nice and easy multi took us around this large parkland.. Haven't been there since I was a kid..
Being in the area today we decided to hit up a few caches. Enjoyed the walk around the park while we collected the clues to GZ. Found 2 Baseballs right near the cache, must've been foul fly's. Signed the log and we were on our way for the Traditionals in the area. Thanks for a nice walk, squalid and the cache.
Took a while to locate under the cover of darkness. We were just about to give up and hey presto we found it. Thanks to my offsider Noworries+wife. Visited with traveller. TFTC SL left ego badge.
Looked everywhere, well obviously not... about to give up and head home when I spied an area I had not entered. A brief search by torch light and the well concealed cache was revealed. Thanks T1nkrman for a great night. Left a superball. Took nothing from the cache but scored a home run with all the baseballs. TFTC Squalid
Spiffy- had collected the clues for this but needed help at GZ locating cache. We headed out today and despite many muggles we made the find. TFTC
Headed back here today at work lunch break with TurnerFamilyFTG since I couldn't find this last time. Very easy this time since it was just sitting there next to a tree in full view. No idea how I missed this last time but there was no way it was where we found it this time. Anyway, great Multi. TFTC.
Found it after 3 attempts canister a bit wet re sealed as log book a bit damp
Had a bit of a struggle with this one checked co ordinates and found the cache.
Off the beaten path , container was a little wet inside log book a bit damp re tightened lid

Being a park I regularly take the geodog to I knew where WP2 was but still had to start by reading the history at the start to get all the clues. I often walk through the GZ track and it took a while to find an easy way off the track to begin the search. The log is a little wet as the bag is no longer sealable but still holding together. TNLN. Thanks for the different reason for my walk around familiar territory squalid!
TFTC. Had a bit of trouble with the first maths question as it was hard to tell on the iphone where one maths question ended and the next started, but OK on the rest. Cool hide and thank you squalid for taking me to this fantastic park for the dog!!!

It was such a nice day today I decided to walk around some parks and do a few multis.
Collected all the clues without any problem and surprisingly for such a nice day not many people in the park. Got to GZ and spent a good 30 minutes looking around, up and down, widened my search as well but couldn't find anything. The camouflage has just eluded me today I suppose.

Very nice multi. Wern't may muggles around so it made finding it much easier.
The whole tribe had a run here. Reading, mathematics, exercise and success. Well done Squalid.
Moving around like a well oiled piece of aviation technology not only were we able to track this treasure we moved effortlessly onto others in the area with the accuracy of drunken darts champion.
The result, found the treasure in beautiful disguise fitting the enviroment perfectly.
Just how a multi should be made. Well done.

Went looking for this one after a shopping trip at DFO. It was a really nice walk in the park which was rather muddy after lots of rain. Found after a short search. TFTC
Did this one in a couple of stages, waiting for the heatwave to break before heading to GZ. After a quick head scratch on best approach, the cache was soon in hand.

Finally found it after several attempts! Can't believe that a single wrong digit threw us so far of course.
TFTC squalid, enjoyed our first multi very much.

Found it with ker007 on a bike ride around Dingley. Great cache we had lots of fun finding it. TFTC
We'll be back for more...We reached WP1, WP2, and even WP3...we have to return to this location to discover GZ. Ran out of time. Had to rush off to a kids party.
Had been at DFO contributing to the Australian economy and thought we'd grab a couple of caches before heading home. Thanks for introducing us to this great park. TFTC.

The plan had been to take the newly purchased cachemobile south for a promised repair, then cache my way back home. So much for that; the parts hadn't arrived... oh well, more time for caching.
With four caches spread over the corners of the reserve, and a multi sending me to parts of the middle, I got to sample quite a lot of the open space of Kingston Heath on the first decent walk of the day.
The first waypoint was near where I parked, and following the clues had me no closer to any of the trads, so I followed it to its conclusion, picking the hide straight away once I worked out how to get the last few metres to the final GZ.

In the area today, had some time to take a walk, found the WP's then off to GZ, nice camo, all in good condition. Thanks for the Cache Squalid,, Regards Russell "Slink1"
Nice wander around the park after work rather than getting stuck if Friday afternoon traffic.

A great multi, thanks for taking us through the park. The geokids had a great time in the playground while I gathered the waypoint coords. Tricky hide but glad we didn't give up. Log slightly soggy, but signed with pen ok.
I really enjoyed this multi, and it was a nice day for a walk in the park. Each waypoint was easy to work out and accurate. The container was creative and I'll enjoy "logging" this find. Thanks for a memorable cache squalid.

A great little multi, especially in light of the ANZAC day service at the nearby RSL. A great walk through the park, even in the rain. Unambiguous numbers always makes for an enjoyable time. We left a pathtag to encourage more people to do this cache. Took the TB. TFTC.

Find # 1260
I finished work for the day (Year ) and had nothing specific to do at home so decided to pick up a few caches and continue on my project 366 path. The kingston Heath Reserve was my target, I had about an hour to find the 4 caches here.
This multi was good fun with very clear instructions, just the way I like them. There were lots of muggles about today, but upon arriving at GZ, all was quiet. A nice easy find once at GZ. Thanks to squalid for the cache. TNLN.

I did most of this cache 6-9 months ago and searched around GZ in the dark to no avail, the GPS was taking me every which way.. Today was no different however in daylight it was found in the first place I looked.. Thanks Squalid for the cache and exercise.. TNLN.. dipped GPS Geocoin..
WP1 full of sporty muggles! We played in the park and wandered around a local market for a while. Will revisit this one when we are in the area next!
Headed out today with my teo boys to do the multi, which has been on my 'to do' list for a long time. The weather wasn't too bad and the boys had fun running around the park and playing on the playground as we collected the clues for GZ. Had to wait for some muggles to pass at some points but soon we were at GZ were the boys played while I went and found the cache.
Glad to finally sign the log for the cache and a fun multi to do.
Thanks squalid.

I had started this one several months ago, but didn't go beyond the initial coordinates. Tonight, I called in on the way home from work, as I needed to get a cache for this day to continue my longest caching run of consecutive days ...
The ground was pretty wet underfoot, but the sky was clear. Very cold out here at 1:00 am! With only one slight miscalculation along the way, and made it to the vicinity of GZ relatively easily. Then began the trauma, with the GPSr not settling well, and stumbled around in the bush for about 20 minutes, eventually spotting the cache. A little disoriented, I managed to find my way out without walking into the lake.
When back at the car in the light, I realised that I had been writing the clues on an RSL application form - somewhat appropriate considering the initial waypoint. TFTC

I have been meaning to do this cache for a while and today while I was at Karkarook park hiding a new cache, I figured I didn't have enough time to go to a place where I hadn't found many (eg, Dandenong), so I went to this and another trad that has been bugging me. We made our way to WP1 and it didn't take long to get the needed info. This was repeated until we got to GZ. I did enjoy the final location, a very nice piece of bushland in a suburban park. We spent a few minutes at GZ before dad had the 'Aha, got it' moment. I just love hearing those words Thanks for a very nice multi squalid
Third for today.
The first waypoint was easy. Left mum and sister to play on playground while I trekked through some muddy dog equiptment. There was a couple training their dog. I could hear the tennis/hockey from the 3rd WP and GZ. TNLN. A bunch of Joggers passed me crouched in the bushes while filling out the log, but I don't think they noticed. TFTC squalid.

Wow what a great park, seem to have everything.
A nice walk thru this park to the various way points collecting the clues before I was at GZ. Upon arrival I could see that this could be a hard one to find. However I must of been lucky as allowing the GPS to settle confirmed that I was close so concentrated my search in this spot and Zing!!! it was seen, aaahhhhh. The cache was well hidden. Left blue stone took nothing. An enjoyable multi and thankyou for bringing me here. TFTC.

Got through the clues OK but the kids were tired, and searching through the bush didn't seem so appealing, so had a quick look at a few spots before giving up and heading home.

My parents were in DFO so I decided to get some caches with my brother mokeychal88
I am surprised that I found it as easily as I did but it was a Great place to hide a cache (With a capital G!)

This one was always hard to find, even with the coordinates - but I'll disable it until I can get there and check it out myself...
Successfully negotiated all stages, found plenty of evidence of other searches at GZ but no cache. Considering the previous DNF log looks like it has gone??
After finding the two traditionals in the north of this park, I thought I would head to the other side the try the multi. I found wp1 easily enough and headed across to wp2. It was a little bit squelchy but I got there in the end, then I was off to the pond. I got the numbers and calculated GZ. I looked and looked but what I came up with didn't seem right. I went back to the pond and checked again. I went back to my calculated GZ and tried all the trees within 15-20 metres. Nothing. I thought about all the water around and that maybe it's gone. I rang the cache owner then waited for the SMS hint. After a check of facebook and my e-mails sitting on the bench I headed off to the next cache, lucky I did! Maybe next time.
