Had a stroll through the secret way looking for the various locations. Took a rest on the park bench, and wow there was the cache hiding just outta sight. Ended up playing on the rope swing and the cache fell out of my pocket. Have a look around and you should find it.

what a fun cache, found by the dog kennel I think, and replaced by the park bench.

And what a "Secret Way", Mrs Dragon and I never knew this existed, most excellent tour through the area to see the sights, Thanks, in future some may want to watch for locals that tend to bite at passers by. TFTC
Finally got it in between down pours. Hunted round the sundial, the pond and the railway line before clicking to the fact we needed to go across the rope swing. I picked up Mr 2 year old and we sailed across Indiana Jones style and landed atop the cache!
Have left the logbook with a guardian short in stature, but not lacking in attitude!

Would you believe it, Found in the very last place we looked. Always nice to come across a unique fun cache.
Walk way very wet getting to the site. Muddy getting around the place finding the log book.
#176 We looked under the barbed wire, beside the park bench, behind the garden gnome, in the tree house, amongst the flax bushes, beside the railway lines and beside the duck pond and finally found it beside the sundial. TFTC
Our very first cache find as a family of 4 - almost 5 months since becoming a family of four. It's been hard trying to get out as a family when the youngest has 3-4 naps a day. This cache looked good as it would be a small walk and the 2nd youngest could play around a little and get to see train tracks. Took us a while to find due to several muggles passing and then we searched the barb wire fence, black berry bush, duck pond, dog kennel, garden gnome and finally managed to find it at the garden gate.
Thanks for the chance to get out as a family.

This was a tricky one in the rain, we eventually found it by the railway line (a bit slippery) after checking the sundial, blackberry and rope swing. NINO TFTC
Easy find, found in the blackberry bush---ouch, Moved it on to another spot very close by.
In the Waikato today to collect a bunch of solved puzzle caches. We were not sure if we had the time to do this on-site puzzle, but thought we would give it a go. Well, it turned out to be a bit of a mission. First we checked out the park bench, but no luck there. Then on to the sun dial - pretty hot and sunny today, so we were briefly distracted figuring the time by the sun. No cache here either. I think we took a wrong path, as we had to negotiate a barbed wire fence, but it was worth it as we finally found the elusive logbook hidden beside the railway lines. Moved it on to a new spot. (Apologies in advance to the next finder.)

Found the cache quickly, quite exposed as things had been trimmed back rather severely. The logbook was a different story....isn't it always in the last place you look?!! Blackberries are just ripening up nicely. Can't remember where we left it, perhaps you should ask the gnome. TFTC. Had planned to do this one ages ago but have only just got a round tuit.
After a jump over the garden gate, avoiding the tricky barbed wire fence that it was set in, I found the sundial and spent some time trying to figure out how much my watch was slow by. I took a few berries (actually accessory fruits, not berries at all) from the brambles, and tiptoed past the sleeping dog in his kennel to have a rest on the park bench -- it was quite a hot day, after all. When I felt a little more refreshed I crossed the railway line to have a play on the rope swing, and happened upon the prize. It has now been relocated in a new spot.
Bit of a search necessary to get the log book. Got tangled up in some barbed wire because I went the wrong way to get to the sun dial.
Found the garden gnome sitting on top of the logbook !
Bit of a walk but TFTC

I tackled this cache from a differant angle, I went the other way around, I started at the Sun dial, then went over the barbed wire fence to the dog kennel. After a bit of a walk in my new jandels my feet were starting to hurt so I sat down on the park bench beside the duck pond. I did notice the gnome fishing in the pond, but didnt take any notice.after checking the swing, I went back and re-checked that suspect gnome, and alas there it was, hiding under it.
Cant say where I have placed it, but Its at the point furtherest from where I found it, and a little more to the eastern side (ok a small hint!)

Found the first cache, but that was just the start of it. Walking all over the place barbed wire, dog box, rail line, sun dial, duck pond. So many choices!!! Moved on to new location. TFTC.
Fortunately were prepared for the long trek and really enjoyed the lovely places we found, moved the log to a new spot a hope others enjoy this walkway as much as we did. TFTC
Walked by after finding Rotoroa Ramble Revisited to grab the Travel Bug. Met some mystery cachers when I was there.
wow was that a trip and a half. fortunately had good shoes on so enjoyed the task. some very special places along the way. Have moved the log to its new location. Good luck to all that follow.TFTC
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 803. Found under the dang barbed wire - nasty place to access. Thanks.
Now I know A LOT more of Hamilton! Had to travel to several different locations (10 in total) to find the actual cache hidden beside the sundial. Have placed the cache in the first location that I looked, as it is the furtherest away. TFTC
Had to come back twice as I could not find the first cache in the morning. Better luck in the afternoon but thought I was in for a real battle as I do not know the area. How on earth was I going to get around to the, Rope swing, duck pond, sundial, barded wire fence, park bench, I am starting to feel a bit stressed with still more posibilities left. railway line... Got it at last and took it back to a location that I knew. TFTC You had me going
Found painfully in the dark in the blackberry bush. TFTC took Belgium geocoin to remind me of past adventures.
Aha, what an easy find today - did not have to venture too far, having visited all locations on our previously unsuccessful hunt. Had a rest on the park bench, and reached under - success! Cache located. Dropped a geocoin in a prickly patch though!
Also dropped a little something at GG's abode, having been unsuccessful doing so before - no road works to thwart access!
Thanks for the fun.

Out for a lunch time hunt with Clare. Success! Found log book at the rope swing, after visiting the garden gnome, treehouse, railway tracks, and so much more! TFTC!
Tried this one last week without realising that it was disabled. Wow this was definatly one experience. Looked everywhere!! The railway line, rope swing, barbed wire and the list goes on and eventually found it near the duck pond. Great cache. TNLN TFTC
Fifi says it all in log below...eventually found the log cleverly twisted into the role on the swing, and have now moved on to....nah, not telling!!!
Great fun hunting this cache down in a lunch hour - and we had the pleasure of some blue sky and sun as well. TFTC

Some secrets should never be broken. This one was - literally, in several pieces.
Now all back in action and ready to go. Please ensure cache container is pushed well back out of sight.

Headed out to seek this one down today, but come across an unexpected problem - have emailed owner with details.
Had a little fun on the rope swing twice, patted the dog, and found some out of season blackberries! Yum.
Will return a little later.

As usual GG managed to lead us on a merry dance. Needed a coffee afterwards, but needed to get back to Auckland. Had a fair bit of fun on the rope swing, before Mrs TT slid into the duck pond after having just put on dry socks and shoes - aaargh. Finally found the cache in the water feature - more wet feet and was glad to get rid of it before we got any dirtier. The product of a devious mind we reckon. Thanks - sort of!
Found it....EVENTUALLY!!!! I didn't even know this walkway existed before today, but now I know it like the back of my hand! I'm sure the cache was in the last place I looked...
I ended up searching all around the garden gate, the flax bush (dirty and wet...yuck!), the kiddies tree house, the duck pond (but no ducks here today) all around the water feature, the park bench, and the dog kennel (since that seems to be a popular place to hide this cache), got myself snagged on the silly barbed wire fence, and hunted out the garden knome as well. Finally found it down by the railway...
Hmmm...but where did I hide it? Now that is the question!!!! Hope you have as much fun exploring this walkway and finding this cache as I did.

Should have looked at previous logs as first place we looked was the dog kennel. Luckily enough the second place was the waterfall. Bingo. Moved the log close by.

Looks like I'm a little slow logging this one. Sorry about that. Actually, we left the log book in the Dog Kennel which is obviously where it was found by the previous logger. That was after taking a little while to find it ourselves. But the foxies enjoyed the walk. They were super keen to get in amongst the flax bushes though I can't say the same for Grampy and I. Nevermind Grampy did get down on his knees to have a really good look around. Then it was on to the blackberry bushes but with them being leafless at this time of the year just a quick look was needed here. We took extra care around there the area of the barbed wire and were lucky enough to strike the jackpot. A great cache for a cold winter's day. Thanks for a cool cache!

[green]Looked near the gnome first, nothing, wasnt sure exactly where to look.
[blue]Then went to the Duck pond, and there it was, I'm surprised no muggle has found it here, as it seems a little exposed, just as well we took it and hid it in the[red]............
[navy]over and out, [brown]thanks for the fun!!

Relieves to find log after only visiting the Gnome, passing through the Garden Gate, searching the Flax and dropping it off for the next seeker. Out with team WELSH. T4TC very enjoyable!
Visited lots of places in Hamilton while looking for this cache, First stop was a visit to the gnome, then through the garden gate, through the flax and finally onto a secret location. Great cache, loved all your caches we did in Hamilton and looked forward to any that were placed by you. Would of seen if you were home but on a tight schedule. Next trip to Hamilton we will forward plan a visit. TFTC
Left this one until I had a bit of time to cover the various hide possibilities-very interesting to see the sites and was not disappointed!
Moved final to a relatively tricky spot. Thanks

#257. We popped out on a nice sunny Sunday afternoon to check out this new cache near the site of an archived one of ours.
Better hiding place than ours, and a nice concept. We found the log near the water feature after avoiding the flax (considered dropping the gnome in there , spotted the tree house, and were careful with the barbed wire.
Placed the log in another spot along the way.
+ 1 US cent coin, - turtle TB

Advice to all following cachers. Take gloves! That barbed wire is mean. Log now covered in blood so may need a wash in the pond.
Started with the flax bushes - ahhhhh yuk!, then on to beside the railway lines, the rope swing and finally the dog kennel. Managed to sign the log quickly before being spotted. Then moved log to .............. Great cache.

A very challenging wee puzzle cache given all the possible locations to hunt. Particularly liked the water feature and rope swing. Found the log stuffed up a gnomes bottom but can assure the next finder that it is there no longer.
Many thanks
Many thanks
The Freezer Mice strike again!!!
Well we just got very very lucky, as the log book happened to be in pretty much the first place that we looked (the area behind the rope swing), so we didnt have to go too far at all.
Not to make it too easy for the next cacher/s we moved it 'a little bit further' along the secret way... we hope that the resident K9 does not pose too much of an issue
TNLN, TFTC.

What kind of fiend are you Mr Boges? Felt like taking the machete and scrub bar to all those flax bushes… Never mind we managed to swing it by roping in our two boys to assist with the hunt…. Now where did we put it….? Was it behind the gnome in the tree house or over the barbwire fence in the dog kennel… Nah... We forget… but at least it is no longer in the flax bush!

Just dropping off Tommy the Tortoise TB.
He he - sounds like there's been a few epics on this cache already. Never ceases to amaze me the lengths some people will go to just to bag another urban cache!

Jillopy's log says it all - almost - she did not get stuck like me on the barbed wire while searching the second potential cache hide. Still the cache was well worth the sacrifice. TFTC
Well, first to log but not first to find! Must be because we spent all that time recovering after slipping by that stupid fish pond - note to self, frosty mornings, caching and fish ponds don't mix - especially when there's all that flaming blackberry nearby!! And beware the dog - thank goodness he was chained to his kennel! We moved the final - hee hee, next person is in for some fun finding it!!
As the great Victor Meldrew stated in "One foot in the Grave"
"I dont believe it"
Well I was very surprised here to get the FTF as I had earlier this morning returned from Te Kauwhata on the motor bike after the FTF there. I would have thought this one would have beendone sometime earlier this am??
I was @@@???>>> Freezing and when I returned home I got back into bed to warm up.
Think the Waikato Geocachers must have gone soft or something !!
Got to GZ and the 1st point of call was an easy find. The fun started here though as I had to negotiate the Blacbery bush, climb up to a tree house . Phew what a mission it was.
Actually I was grateful for it all as it helped me warm up.
Thank you to Mr Gerbil for that sweet challenge.

At home today looking after the tin lids so nothing better to do then go Geocaching. Must have to say this is the type of mystery cache I could get use to. We had a bit of a walk as I thought it would be best to start from the furthest location being the black berry bush as that’s where I would put it, how wrong was I and how silly did I feel when we finally located it at the closest spot being the duck pond. Oh well it was a nice day for a walk anyway. We moved the log book to..............you will have to find that out on your own. Thanks for a great cache.
I almost ran out of time for this one what with dogs railway tracks treehuts and ponds. After a rest on the park bench it was off to complete the blackberry and that dahm flax stage
TFTC I think

Sounds like lots of fun Mr Gerbil, We look forward to finding your latest listing, We are wondering if the log book is anything like the the Professor Poopiepants one!! There is no way we can possibly get the FTF but our guess is on TFM Whilst Mr Phsychrn is off to Te Kauwhata picking up tonights other new listing.
Enjoy the mini event in your own backyard!! I hope your well wrapped up in your winter woolies while sitting on your deck watching as it's forecast for a cold one!!
