2.5 terrain is under estimated more like a 4 at the end especially take care going down the slope it is steep. Cache number 200 out celebrating sandelf's birthday with Peas&CarrotsForever, AussieGal88, Jolly0 & partners.

Out of 7 of us only 1 was brave enough and spritely enough to go get those one and she slipped over. Maybe the 2.5 terrain could be adjusted. TFTC

Found while exploring this park after completing the nearby lab cache series.
The track was a little overgrown with dry grass but thankfully no snakes were spotted.
At GZ, the cache was found without problems. The container and logbook are both in good condition.

Thanks for the cache lava12.

Found by Mary and David at 12:25. Have just finished the Dead Man's Pass Adventure Lab, so a bit more wal;king for this cache was well worth it. Visiting from Melbourne for the Event in Nuriootpa last Sunday. What a green oasis, with some towering gums. We were glad of the shade they gave. We used to shop in Gawler in 19754/76 while David was posted to RAAF Base Edinburgh. Our thanks to Lava12.

Between completing the Adventure Lab and this cache,
CP & I managed to succumb to a deluge several times before reaching this cache.
We navigated the high, but thinning grass and slippery rocks.
I was getting nervous due to the excess grass, the temperature and proximity to the creek.
But we travelled on foot without incident, found the cache and turned around and repeat.
Thanks for the cache and the walk during the rain, Lava12

Today I had a bike race out here in gawler so on the way home stopped by to do a few caches.
Had finished the lab caches in the area so continued on through the pass to get to this one. I took the river approach and was easy going apart from the grass seeds. Cache was found in good condition.

Yay. Found it. Another fun adventure, many thanks for the hide. After DNF nearby, I wanted to redeem myself out of public for you. Utilise the fact that my jeans are already dirty, and through a variety of means got down to GZ. Finally getting back up the hill, and collected my bag then walked until I remembered I had yellow confetti stuck in my hair.

GeoVenture Mega Event at Millicent, still looking forward to it!! A new date has been proposed for October 2021 now.

Today was Gawler Day. After doing all my chores I headed off to Gawler on the new road which makes the drive much shorter.
Had a long list of caches to tick off but a later than anticipated start coupled with some hideous hay fever meant I didn’t get as many finds as I’d hoped for. Just wasn’t having caching feels today.
I didn’t have any dnf though which was good and converted one prior frownie into a smile which was also good.
At the end of the day had some fab food at the very well patronized Geocaching day event. Not quite Seattle where I should have been today but still a fabulous event and was great to see so many fellow cachers. After tea found a final 3 caches with JJ52 and then took my pollen infested head home, still suffering the Wattle side effects the next day.
Enjoyed the walk down to this one, nice quick find and sign at GZ. TFTC Lava12

Olives do like South Australia, don’t they? A nice quiet bend on the river, at least until that new bridge opens. Thank you for bringing me here Lava12, I did enjoy the walk.

Had hubby with me today so with his help was able to scramble down to this one. Located the olive tree but as he was on the wrong side of the tree I was able to make the find catching a glimpse of the cache on the other side. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC!

On International Geocaching Day, it was a day of geocaching centering around Gawler and the associated celebratory event held at lunch. I woke up early to complete the 5 km Parkrun in Gawler, which was a new location for me, and then I met up with gridge98 to drive around the various caches in the vicinity. After a few geocache finds in central Gawler including Clonlea Park, we then completed a few mini power trails such as the serenity series and Meat Trail.
After lunch, I went solo to continue solving multi-caches and collecting some older 2007 caches in Gawler. As it got dark, I drove along the Gawler - One Tree Hill Road to collect the intermittent caches along there, to arrive home just after dark to discover the whole blocks had no power for another few hours. A nice day out and finding in good weather.

A nice walk to GZ along the river, with a bit of scramble over some rocks. Once at GZ, it wasn't a hard find to see the container, and all in good condition. Thanks Lava12.

Man! hasn't this area changed!! I noticed the earthworks underway to the south across the river for the new Barossa Highway bypass i was told, whilst SL at this one's GZ.

A quick find watching out the whole time to make sure i didn't lose an eye with the olive tree twigs near my head here [:o] {If attempting this one at night, wear a Fencing helmet lol, in case the Olive does strike back!}.

Hi Lava12 just a heads up, your cache in dead mans pass will need to be collected asap as new road and bridge work is about to commence in this area. Fencing will be erected soon so best to grab while you can. Contact me if you need. 0439845859.

Please remove cache from this area, road and bridge works about to start in this section of river.

Loved the easy stroll, saw a red belly black and brown snake after leaving main track so tread carefully even though they both quickly dashed off and we couldn't have stepped on one if we tried. Left a trinket, signed log. Tftc!

Thanks for placing and maintains this cache. Am visiting the area on a holiday.

This cache was easily found with accurate coords. There was no geo-trail so finding a reasonable way down took a while. TNLNSL TFTC could finders NOT put the pencil in the clip-lock bag as that is what punctures them

There is a trail marked on the map but the trail is not must more than a few broken trees and spaces between grasses so we took the long walk for a nice secluded hide. Lots of flora and a cute little bunny rabbit took off out from the undergrowth. Must be Easter he he he.

We found this one while walking through Dead Man's Pass almost a year ago. Mr C must have had a senior moment and forgotten to log the find. He's only just found the offline log saved on his mobile! If we recall correctly, a local cat had found a nice resting spot close to GZ. Not sure who was more startled - the cat, or the cox crew juniors! TNLNSL. TFTC.

Bit of a rough hike to get there, especially with three dogs and bushes full of rabbits. Easy once we got there though.
