Logs
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in beautiful Port Elliot for a few days to cache the area. Heading to Goolwa on a cold blustery day. Thanks for the find. LCNU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Spending the day sightseeing in Goolwa and Hinchinbrook on this cold and blustery blustery day. TFTC LNCU
Found with Bullertrout after a day kayaking the Coorong. We are now caching our way back to Victor Harbour for the night. TFTC Placed by Freddo the Frog#16633
Paddle Chick and myself are heading to Murray Bridge area. Getting caches along the way and very hot today
Finally getting round to logging a few cache naughtybunny and I had done on New Year's Day. Today was a beaut day for exploring the Goolwa / Hindmarsh Island area. Ended up getting about 25 for the day. Today was the first time I had been on Hindmarsh Island. Quite a nice place but bloomin hec those mozzies!!! Then it was the ants at this location. Gee we can't win. The cache was found quickly, logged and then we were off to the next one. TNLN. Cheers.
I'm a short arse. Chookster has much longer legs, so he did the athletic stuff here.I just stood around trying to look inconspicuous.TFTC Freddo.
Took some time out to come south and do some maintenance on a cache before the gods decided time was up. After duties were finished, I stopped by a couple nearby unfound caches to turn them into smileys.
Thanks for the cache Freddo the Frog. I looked at GZ and saw the big spors. The call was made and I went 'over the top'. Cache was decent sized but on opening it had a pool of water and the log sheets were soaked. Back to the car, dried it all out and added a new big 'Gumpy' book and double bagged it. All returned in good nic. Certainly some secret business going on here, but its not ancient and mystical. Find #8788 at 4.02pm

House/dog sitting near Goolwa. Had some time to myself so off to HI to grab a few caches. Thoroughly enjoyed the outing. Log too wet to sign. Sending photo to CO. Tftc
A quick find with 4maal at 1pm. Log sheet was very wet. Managed to squeeze it dry enough to write on part of it but it really needs to be replaced and some sealable bags included in the cache.
thanks Freddo the Frog

Found during a stay in Victor Harbor for a 5 day visit. Today I headed over to Hindmarsh Island for some cache finds while in the area. Thanks for the cache Freddo!
Wondering if this cache was placed before the structure was built, it definitely makes it a challenge to get to with the vegetation and structure, but luckily there were no snakes stood on in our adventure to ground zero. We were tempted to just grab the ladder to assist in an easier approach but nope our sense of adventure was with us today,
We grabbed this one after admiring the marina, well not so much the marina but the boats within, wow, there are some dollars there.
Thanks for the cache Freddo the Frog, found it, signed the log and replaced it as found. TNLN

Found this one rather quickly but getting to it was another thing…. The long road or short…. Don’t know why I choose the long way tftc
What started as a 1-nighter at Milang with my walking group turned out to be a further night's solo stay at Goolwa .. just too many green faces needing attention. tftc
Enjoying the glorious sunshine and relatively low wind on Hindmarsh island. After a long kayak around the Murray mouth, I still had a bit of energy left for a couple of caches around Hindmarsh island.
Quick find.
Thanks for the cache Freddo the Frog.

Today we headed to the Victor Harbor, Port Elliott and Goolwa areas for a days caching with Astro.
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Freddo for the cache.

Rebuilt the casbar(s) including new container. Stopped off for a day, but have now been in the area for a week caching in Victor Harbour Port Elliott & Goolwa, enjoying the area and variety of caches. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Freddo
