Out and about caching, finding caches that fulfilled our requirements today.Took a stroll and collected the required information to calculate GZ Made a quick find at GZ, cache and contents in good condition. Many thanks youngoldfella, for your cache placement here.
On the road early for the journey home via Brisbane. Geomum 007 and I hope to do some side roads caching to break the ride. Sussed this one out yesterday so walked straight to it and got log, all safe and dry. TFTMC have enjoyed my time in Bundy much of it led by caching.
TFTC. Unfortunately there was no way to see two of the necessary numbers safety on the sidewalk which made the cache difficult to be done safely.
Met up with fellow geocachers after work to tick off a few caches that were on our list. Weve been trying to get to this one for a while but it had complications as per the COs note. Good to see it back in action. Like the word play in the name. Tftc
This one is not going to be Archived by me. Reason. The multi can be completed but at the moment there are several homeless person's camped nearby. The person at the original GZ has also moved their abode. The multi answers for B and C and E and F have been amended to reflect the co ordinates of the new GZ. Another very experienced Geocacher ( who actually spoke to a non aggressive occupant of the tent) who has moved their abode and I spoke to another tent occupied close by and also non aggressive and I offered them some bottled water which they greatly accepted. 30 bottles left over from our event yesterday. I have replaced the cache container and also altered GZ Co Ordinates. The description and Additional hint have also been amended.
We also have talked to C. O. About this cache . We definitely called out here a few days back. We have been O.K. to log this as done.
Logging with permission of CO.Sadly a few different homeless folk have occupied the location.Tftc
We met the CO today and he said we could claim this cache. Its not polite to go to it as someone is living near it atm.
We called in here today. It's has a few homeless people living here. It did make us two fell for them . I'm not too sure how Australian got to this point. We didn't look for the cache at all.
In Bundaberg for a weekend of Dog Shows there was time between the Swimsuit and Talent components for a cache or three So, I may not exactly give it my full attention and there may not be a swimsuit section, but theres definitely something called confirmation But without Pom Poms my cheering really is lacklustreI did the legwork last night and had time today to visit my calculated GZ only to find it is the location of one of the many, many homeless that are around BundabergIll be back when society can take responsibility for everyoneThanks youngoldfella another day then
TFTC, couldn't sign log because there is a tent on top of it and an aggressive person is living in the tent.
Couldn't sign it because someone's damn home is sitting right on top of it and I was not going to try and explain myself further to an aggressive homeless drug addict who way very clearly coming down off something. TFTC
Found with TheKiltedKacher, unfortunately a tent was pitched right where the final is, also unfortunately there were aggressive homeless persons around, so we didn't stick around. TFTC!
We're spending a few days in Bundaberg catching up with a mate so while he is working today, we ran a few errands then decided to grab this multi. Since it filled a spot on our D/T, we particularly wanted to find it while we were here. We really enjoyed this multi and the final hide camouflage was particularly good.A favorite point because this is one of the better multicaches we've found! Thanks for find #5095TNLN
GreenGecko1 & myself are in Bundy to make a strategic hit on a number of great caches. The weather has been great & its starting to feel summerish. Nice multi, Ta.
Grabbed this one after completing the nearby AL.Thanks youngoldfella for the caches.Total Cache Finds 15217,
This cache was my main target for the weekend. This cache gave me my loop 19. I started gathering information Friday night. We grab the rest of the information Saturday morning. GreenGecko1 also did get another loop finished too. Thanks for the tour of Bundaberg. It was a quick find at GZ. youngoldfella thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for the geocaching communitys enjoyment.
Today, I ventured into the bustling heart of the city to take on the - Central Business District Multi-Cache. The thought of exploring the vibrant Central Business District, in search of hidden treasures, filled me with excitement. The coordinates led me to a series of well-thought-out waypoints, each revealing a different facet of this urban landscape. From historic landmarks this multi-cache provided an immersive tour of the city's rich history and contemporary culture.Navigating through the city's hustle and bustle, I answered the cleverly designed questions and collected the necessary information to uncover the final cache location. It was a true urban adventure, and I could feel the pulse of the city with each step. The final cache location took me to a spot I had walked past countless times, but I had never really seen it until now. It was creatively hidden, blending seamlessly into the urban environment. After signing the logbook and taking a moment to appreciate the view, I felt a sense of accomplishment.I want to express my gratitude to the cache owner for crafting this ingenious multi-cache experience. It allowed me to see the city in a whole new light, and it was a reminder that adventure can be found even in the midst of a concrete jungle.Thank you for this urban adventure,
The plan was to go for a stroll after dinner last night, but the rain put an early end to that after finding only wp1.
Came back at dawn, knowing what to look for it was easy.
Sat down and did the numbers and headed to GZ.
A homeless person was camped nearby, distressed on the phone as I did my thing out of sight.
After signing the log, I offered to get my fellow human a coffee and a snack as I needed my morning fix anyway.
Not only was this a good find, but it made me a slightly better person.
Thank you

No luck for us here. We were in Bundaberg from Sydney before heading out to Lady Elliot Island. We did the walk around to collect polar info the day before. Funny but before we recognised the Wyland mural we thought it was a mural of a snowy scene. Anyway, we were short of time on the way to the airport the next day, we drove the car to GZ. There we found a makeshift camp and just didn’t think it was right to disturb the resident first thing in the morning. We have really enjoyed out time in Bundaberg and would gladly return. This DNF just gives us an additional reason. Thanks to youngoldfella for hours of geocaching entertainment around town. Cheers… Gaztek
Arrived in town and started straight on the small list for today, which was basically to try and grab one of the different types. This was a good choice as it got the legs moving after being in the car so long. Little bit of moisture in the log, but nothing that requires attention, just to note.
Last of the day and a neat little milestone cache. Had time to fill in while waiting for my wife to finish an appointment, so decided to give this one a go. Managed all at the numbers ok (so I thought) and set off for GZ. Arrived there only find that something wasn't right with what I had. Check my calculations but couldn't see a mistake, so headed back to check my answers. Turns out I can't read properly, and with one number corrected, I again headed off for a GZ. Managed to get it right this time as I arrived at GZ and found the cache without issue. Signed the log, replaced the cache and then sat for a moment before heading back, with time to spare, to meet up with my wife.
Thanks again YOF...cache all good and a fav point added.

On a holiday trip to Bundaberg we stopped at various places to stretch our legs, meet new people, grab solved puzzles, complete Adventure Labs, Wherigos, multis, answering questions for Earthcaches & Virtuals. This is one of them.
Got the numbers with a stroll around Bundaberg then today parked nearby found the cache quickly but ants everywhere there was water in the cache but the log was there
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache youngoldfella

A planned trip north with a mate to check out some of the countryside. We got in some camping in some not so usual spots. It has been fun and the best part is I get to cache in places I do not usually get to visit.
It seemed as half of the Brisbane caches were up this way to, I ran into a few along the ways.
Today was a drive around and just grab a few of the ones in the areas, easy day.
This was a nice find, thanks for the hide, I signed the log, the nice new log and replaced as found.

We left Maryborough early to get in as much caching as possible before attending an evening event in Bargara. Bundaberg is a lovely pretty old town, walking was the best option as the traffic was super busy here today and the only time we drove was when we ran into BenM70 from Townsville
Thanks youngoldfella for this beaut multi, sorted in between doing the various Adventure Labs before heading to Bargara. A favourite point for the awesome hide

On a New Years getaway down from Townsville for a bit of Jolly Brolly Folly and some other targets as part of a catch up with Townsville’s finest DNFer Greencordial
Weirdly enough as I waved a car through a zebra crossing that I wasn’t quite at yet I heard my name being called out. Caching Legends just happened to be at the same point in time and space. Hopefully will run into Gloria and Doreen at the event later on tonight.
This one could have been a right royal pain but I decided to leave the car where it was just outside the clusterf@ck zone and walked the stretch l. Highly recommended as I don’t think these people had to pass a test.
The final was also nifty as. If I have a FP to hand out I will. If not I will hand one over when I do
Thanks youngoldfella for this hide GC1QYJG Polar Experience. Nice one

Received a messge that the log was wet so drove into town (15k from home) and discovered that the container had been stolen and the clip seal bag was unsealed and the log wet. I have replaced the container and the copntainer is now in a clip seal bag and the log sheet is also in a clip seal bag. the council have just placed new muclh around the trrees etc so you may have to sweep it back a l;ittle to reveal the lid of the host. All good to go. Have fun
After some much needed rest we decided to stay put in and around Bundaberg to grab some caches and do a little exploring.
It took us a few attempts to get the correct numbers and once they looked correct I made my way over to GZ. Once there I made sense of the hint and uncovered the cache soon after. Unfortunately the log is saturated as it was just a baggy providing shelter for the log and no actual container, however I was able to leave some kind of mark on the log.
The CO was informed and has performed maintenance on this cache.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Who doesn’t love a Polar Experience. We started this on Friday but didn’t realise how busy Bundy would be, pretty happy we didn’t get run over. So we returned on Sunday morning, much quieter, we were on board with what we had to look for and got the co ordinates quite easily. Wasn’t long before we were at GZ and had log in hand. Thanks Team Fuddley. and YOF for this multi
We are on a caravan trip, exploring the area and collecting smilies!

An involved multi that took some time. The hide was a bonus at the end. A favourite from us.
Day 3 in Bundaberg. We opted for a quieter day with 2 Adventure Labs in town and a few remaining caches there, then headed over the river and out in a coastal direction. It meant we had a quieter time in town before business got busier and then gave us the opportunity to head out into can farming country and finally to the river. An interesting drive.
We found traditionals, some pre-solved puzzles and a couple of multis before the rain arrived and sent us home.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

Tftc, unique type of multi, not many places that you walk down the centre of the main Street.
Had a few moments of confusion. Got there in the end.

The Mega has been and gone and we had so much fun meeting with friends. Now we've turned south towards home but we're still finding caches and great camps along the way. Staying at Bundaberg for a few days R&R.
Back to find this one after CO replaced with a new one.
Big thanks to youngoldfella for adopting this cache.

This one has been replaced and is ready to go. Please make sure you replace well and put the cap back on the host correctly. Enjoy.
Did all the groundwork and got the final coords, arrived at gz after a short stroll and found the cover as described in the hint. Unless this cache is buried quite deep then it's gone walkabout. Shame too because the theme of the cache is great collecting all the waypoints. Needs a tidy up at gz though.
Solved this one at home and made the instant find tonight after dinner. Nice puzzle. I have a very similar one in Townsville.
Thanks youngoldfella for creating and placing this for us to enjoy. Have a FP for the puzzle.

In town this morning and checked on this one and the cache is missing. Replaced and all good to go. Enjoy.
We're pretty sure we found GZ but no cache. Have messaged CO for confirmation. Nice little walk, 2k to be exact.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
24/6/21 On holidays from Mackay in Bundaberg for some caching fun. Thanks for placing this cache for my enjoyment. TFTC SL Been to the Bundy Factory and Brewed Drinks today. Thanks for the puzzle
With overseas travel currently out of the question and state border closures still a lurking as possibilities, my family and some close friends decided that travelling from Brisbane to North Queensland was our best option for a Christmas/New Year escape.
After staying overnight at Bundaberg, I headed out around 5.30am to commence the day's caching while the rest of the family had a sleep in. Prior to leaving for our trip I had done some preparation work to calculate the final location. Although I did not manage all the required information, I had enough to give me a very plausible location for GZ. It was almost time for me to meet back up with my family at our accommodation, but I had just enough time left to test out my calculations. Some very helpful information in the logs allowed me to zero in on a possible hiding spot and sure enough a cache awaited my signature in the logbook. TFTC

During my walk around town this morning I had worked out the coordinates for the final but I did not have the inclination to walk the distance required to get to the cache ( I was also in the opposite direction to the direction back to my motel).
This afternoon I took the wife for a drive to find a few more caches and this one was on the list.
I pulled up in a convenient parking spot and remarked to my wife that I remembered being here for another memorable cache hunt with a group of cachers a few years ago.
From where I had parked it was only a short hop to the search area and I spotted a likely hiding spot as I approached. Sure enough the cache was there.

Bundaberg Day 5
Our caching partners for today were the Snake Pitters.
In the afternoon I took a walk along the main street collecting the information as I went. Took some time out to vist a shop or 2 along the way.
The new co-ords were entered into my GPS & off I went to the final location. Quickly spotted the location as mentioned,in the hint.

We are in Bundy for a few days.
We continued our walk around the CBD after a very enjoyable lunch break, and found a distinct drop in humidity was happening. Yahoo! Successfully gathered all the numbers and looked at the likely spot on Google Satellite. Looking good. A quick drive to near GZ and out job is now complete.

I visited Bundaberg earlier this year and solved this Multi but I was unable to find the cache as it was missing so today I was checking out fishing spots with the family and both Monty06 and I were able to sign the log as I noticed it had been replaced. Great little Multi took me for quite a walk to find my new co-ords, now that blue spot has disappeared. TFTC
My muggle husband and I are on holidays from Brisbane staying at Bundy. This one was on my to do list so yesterday we gathered all the information . Only one waypoint was covered but could easily figure out the number needed. My husband went to the rsl while I went to my gz. I however doubted that my coordinates were correct and a big storm was approaching so I abandoned the search. This morning I checked with a previous finder if I had the correct gz and yes I did so we headed back and I used a stick to poke until I heard the sweet sound of plastic. Thanks for this fun multi

I gathered the information and headed to the GZ. I looked around and found nothing. I gave up and headed to my hair appointment where I read some previous logs, and worked out that I was in the correct location. I returned with a stick and found the cache.
Ducking down the main street early was able to find required info then off to GZ and found muggles hanging around so went off for the day and returned in the arvo and was able to find the cache easily. Thanks for the stroll around Bundy and the cache.
We got all the info quickly and proceeded to GZ which seemed an unlikely final hide place but sure enough right on GZ was the prize.

TFTC. A local catcher has been looking after some of this teams caches. With his permission we replaced the cache container at GZ. A little bit of mtce still needs to be done to the hide but the game can continue. An interesting walk up and down the street looking for the required numbers. There was one where the bracket covered the number, but a bit off educated guesswork had it sorted.
Visited Bundaberg for the long weekend all to convert some little coloured boxes into Smilies. I did all the number collections then worked out a good set of co-ords and though I would have this one in the bag. Arrived at my GZ and found the clues but no cache, read other logs and they appear to be the same. I think I removed all the mulch that could cover the cache and found nothing, replaced GZ as I found it.
Dissapointment after a walk around town. Very obviously at GZ, but no cache to log. Dug around a bit, but nothing to be found....
O319 and I walked and found all the numbers. Got to GZ, found the green cover not fitting the hole
and no cache container to be found. We extracted alot of mulch from the hole looking for it. Leaving town early tomorrow so guess we won't be logging a find for this one.

And so with a slow start to the morning we headed out to find a few caches.

We decided while we were in the area we would stop by and do this cache. So glad we did, we enjoyed it very much. We were able to find all the information and wasn't long and we were heading to GZ. We found a park close by and started our search. Wasn't long and Mr Parko uncovered the cache. Thanks Team Fuddley
Found at 1:08 PM GAFF3.
Had a couple of issues with this multi - first of all we had to be very careful with the co-ords as the poles were close together in some instances and our GPSr didn't really know which one to go to. Took a bit of interpreting there - good thing we are experienced Then one of the numbers was totally obliterated by a clamp - but we knew what the number was supposed to be - again because we are experienced cachers helps
Then at GZ it looked like the area had been cleaned up so we started to look somewhere else, but after a while we succumbed and looked at the hint - and what the heck! It's a buried cache! How the heck would you find that if you don't look at the hint - now honestly if the reviewer knew about this hide it would be archived. Inspicio particulary is vey tough on that point.
So in the end we found it, but we were not that happy about it.

Done my puzzles few months ago but couldn't find cache so I came back here to find cache again finally found this cheeky thing! Got signed and returned same place got u a fav p TFTC
This cache needs some TLC as I checked in on my way to Undaberg. The cache enclosure is beginning to shrink from outside pressures, as well as there not being any physical container or log book at this moment. I will try to replace the container and log book when I next visit as the CO, to my knowledge, is currently based overseas.
This was awesome! Spent a while in and out of shops between looking for WPs then worked out GZ. As there were muggles having a picnic when we arrived we left it until next day to look for the GC. When we arrived we found the hide but cache was not there.
Will mark as found but will revisit another time after maintenance.

Mrs and Junior enjoyed this one. Finding the coords was intriguing but finding the cache took a few minutes.
Did this at 8 o'clock on a Saturday night so looking up the answers wasn't too obvious but needed to be careful at the cache site.

While camping at Bundaberg with Geodad (Whitey Wiskas) and Geodog (Scruffy) ...
We just had to go out and find a few caches ..
What a fantastic cache, very well thought up and put together ...
(Polar ... DOH!) .. once the grey matter started to put the pieces together, Geodad and I had fun finding the co-ords ... and saw some shops we needed to pop into for supplies .. so was a real win-win type cache.
All Good .. TFTC .. ... well worth a FAV. point.
P.s. Thanks for having the Find in a spot with plenty parking ...

Almost wore our shoes off. Well worth the effort when we did locate the cache. Found with gmw511. TFTC.
Here from outta town for a gig at the Ent Cent and out grabbing a few random GCs where I can. Got to GZ just on dark and had to be stealthy due to car park teen gang muggles about. But the hint helped me quickly make the find. Container full of water so had to dry out log and all I had was a pen so not ideal. TFTC that was a simple but fun multi to hit before doors for tonite's show
