there are kangaroos exactly where the geocache should have been. we had this one in our gps for a long time and didn't know it had been archived. please if posible bring it back.
With the demise of Bridgestone, these urban Roos are becoming an Urban Ruse (or is that an urban myth).
The sole purpose of this cache was to bring people to see some kangaroos in the middle of the suburbs. With no roos, no reason for the cache anymore so we will be removing it.
Just leaving it as Disabled for a couple of days so that anyone who has just found it but haven't logged a find yet can still do so.

Headed out north with Honeysucker to start clearing the area above Grand Junction Road.
Didn't spot any roos there today but there were some ferals on the other side of the road LOL. TFTC.

I was lookin on the wrong side of the road when my gf finds it without really lookin for it. Tftc
Didn't see any roos, but had a chat with a local while posing as a tourist.
He said that half the kangaroos have been sent to Swan Reach and the others are still in there somewhere.
Nice find

Sorry, didnt find this one but we found a kangaroo and fed it so it was worth it
A quick and easy PNG for geoP. geoD was approached by 2 hungry locals but unfortunately we couldn't feed them today.

If at first you don't succeed.... A night later, still in the dark we were going past, the lack of drizzle gave me enough light to see where I went wrong the night before!
One of my closest to home, hit it after dark and no joy Have to have another go during Daylight.
Found it with our little BJL (his first Geo Expedition ) Great after school activity. He has lived all his life here and never had a clue that there was wild life so close to home. What a lovely surprise when the Urban Roo came to say hello, and a chat.
An easy find and just a few Roo's sunning themselves. Thanks for bringing us here as never knew they were here.T.F.T.C
I go past these roos every day on train and see them, I come for a visit today to finally get this cache and they are all hiding - typical!!!! TFTC
Would you believe it, there were NO roos to see!!! I had seen several hopping along during my Oz adventure but I still wanted to see more nonetheless. At least I still got a smiley out of coming. Thanks for the cache!
No roos arround today to give me a hint and the find took a lot longer than it should.
A nice start to a warm arvo caching in the suburbs.
Cheers and happy caching.

Luckily a friendly roo came over to the fence and in a classic skippy moment told me where the cache was hidden.

Found with Geodaughter, walked passed it a few times wondering where could it be. Cammo was working well eventhough it wasn't back in its intended place judging by the internal container attachment devises. put it back a bit better than found. L= Koala key ring to keep kangaroos company. Only a few roos up this end today.
Three of them watched me ...maybe laughing on my courious behaviour.
But finally found also the cache.
thx npg

I got to the location today, and wasn't sure which side of the road it may be on, so I tried both sides, but came up empty handed. I look on the "non fence and park" side, in the obvious locations, ut my GPS keep insisting that the cache was on the other side of the road. On the other side of the road, I kept walking up and down thinking that it would not be anywhere on the ground. I then decided to walk towards the train station to see if I could get inside the fence, but, I didn't want to become a "trespasser" and perhaps be "prosecuted" so I thought it would be best to keep looking up and down, but, I still found nothing.
Quick find with the Geotwins, the bull-ants were active this evening! Wonder what the roos fate is once Bridgestone goes. TFTC.
I walked up and down and down and up looking everywhere but the right place. It was my 12 year old son that called "is this what you're looking for?" Ha! Love the roos! Ginger Beer (lashings of) say thanks!
On a caching trip from Melbourne with Acts2YouthGroup It was getting dark by now but he reckons he saw a roo. As I say, it was getting dark.... A nice easy find though.
This was cache # 76 of 77 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. I saw a too and we know who has the better eye sight., I was waiting for Skippy to come over and help us out but he did not appear. My thanks to TiedyeSmileys for the cache.
As good as your word, there were the roos looking at us from their urban haunt. Thanks TiedyeSmileys
Found in the company of Winglen and McPhan during our swoop on Adelaide.
I think we eventually rejected eponymous (all the while pointing at obscure objects to justify our interest in this piece of fence) and probably settled on 'prosaic' being an adequate description of another eclipse tin cache. Yep, tame bouncers just through there! Thanks TiedyeSmileys.

2384. I wish it was all recorded 'cause it sounds like we were having a ball at this cache as recorded on the LDR. Mentions of eponymous mint tin containers and roo poo? Also being exposed (I could tell by the breeze) as we were it was a chance to look inconspicuous by pointing randomly at non- existent objects. My companions refused to point me in the right direction.
TFTC and the obvious enjoyment.

I used to deliver cars across the road from here for over 5 years and never noticed this area before
One of the Kangroos got within 2 metres from me, ,we had a brief chat before he hopped away
Thanks TiedyeSmileys

How Bizarre to see roos right here!!! It took me quite a while to even notice they were there. Couldn't resist taking a photo of Skippy with Skippy.
Easy find on our first day of GC, the fourth of the day!!!! Let the bull ants lead the way!!
The poor little Elf was soooooooooooo looking fwd to a birthday party at the Adelaide Acquatic Centre. We raced back from the Riverland to achieve this. BUT on the way back his ear was painful over every hill and dale. The ear infection which was supposed to be getting better had really flared up. So instead of a birthday party he got a visit to the only medical clincic we could find open on a Sun, (nearby). We decided to do a few caches, while waiting for the next script! Didn't have notes just coords so a lovely surprise and smile on his face whne we saw the roos who were quite clearly watching the cache!! Not qhite the same as a swimming birthday party, but better than staying home...and this one certainly put a smile on that little face!
Forgot to visit The Golden Elf's T-shirt coin which visits all the caches he he goes to.
I run in this area so once i found out there was a cache i had to find it! No GPS again! TFTC
An easy find out with muggle cousins from Darwin, excited in becoming members. Watch out for the bull-ants though. TFTC
This was a very tricky hide and not that easy to extract... But we managed to get it and on our way.... Definitely no Urban Roos here today... Nearly time for the event.... TFTC
After a frustrating search for "Time For A Cache" I needed a pick-me-up in the form of a drive-by. Quickly located thanks to accurate co-ords. TFTC. TNLN.
Set out with some Traditionals in the GPSr. No logs no hints and went looking for a few caches.
Like others the ants got me as I was to busy following the GPS.
We were certainly surprised when we were joined by Kangaroos.
Interesting to read the description while logging this

Found it ok. The guardian ants weren't too happy about visitors though - or maybe they were just happy to see me and wanted to embrace me in large numbers!!!
TFTC, good camo.

Didn't take long to spot this one but, had to play GPS mobile phone to exucute the retrieval. Only a couple of muggles in the compound across the road but they were not moving so, had to blow a couple of mins before they cleared the way.

Took a bit of finding, but got it evenually. It could do with a few more magnets to keep it in place. I nearly got completely busted by a muggle when replacing it, but as I have come to learn, most people don't have a clue what's going on around them . I am a bit worried about the roos though - I saw them, but did they se me????????[XX(]

Accompanied with Everlasting. Found it nice and easy. We were a bit disappointed because we did not see any roos today.
Thanks TiedyeSmileys for the cache.
Thanks TiedyeSmileys for the cache.
Accompanied with Lava12, she found it before me.... No roo today (pity). SL. Thanks TiedyeSmileys for organising the cache and hunt.
Spotted a number of black roos wearing black coats and dark sunglasses, against a black background on a dark moonless night. Though it could have just been my imagination.
TNLN - Thanks TiedyeSmileys!

Find 641 My Way Without a GPS at 2.45pm
Parked the car to block the neighbours’ view while I retrieved the cache.
I worked as a contractor at Bridgestone about 18 years ago and the boys had regular soccer games and cricket matches on what was a well maintained oval in those days.
Does anyone know how long the roos have been there?

What a great place to hide the cache. We were entertained by the roos while looking. They came up so close we could touch them.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Logging as a find again as GCA is saying I havent found this, I am hoping re logging this will make it show up.
Nice to see the urban roos close to the fence. Thanks for the cache TiedyeSmileys.
