So I was trying to be careful of alerting the westies (very difiicult as there were a lot of them at the time I was at GZ) and ended up coming away without my ticket. Thought I looked everywhere, especially in spots matching the hint but to no avail. Probably left my geosenses in the car.
Parked just across the way from this and gaining a lull in the traffic helped me get the cache which was just the .........thing. T F T C G-2
Last evening in the area and keen to grab a few out Greenhithe way. I headed over the bridge and did a series of park n stroll n grabs, then headed for a couple of more challenging ones across the other side of the motorway to no avail. Finished off a sample few up the Magnetic road, and they were awesome.
I'm up in Auckland for the week, with a couple of options for transport and with a healthy choice of 4 evenings plus one late-afternoon at my disposal for caching. Would be remiss of me not to take advantage of what some (km) would call a 'target rich environment'. And so my week was spent well, a count of 75 caches was found, a few DNFs and a plethora of G-2's special cache treats with awesome camo and attachments. Some nice evening weather made things easier, and I averaged a 10km walked each day = nice. Thanks to all COs for their caches, individual logs as/when remembered.

So pleased managed to get my ticket to ride out of this war zone very quickly after a smilie signedd off thx
Today we decided to visit a new area in Auckland. Targeted area was Glenfield.
Caches were generally well hid and terrain a bit more up and down than expected.
In fact some of the caches were real beauties, nothing to do with geocacher, in particular whose name slips my mind. (just kidding).
met up with fellow caches from Huntly.
Logs logged as Team HRP (home towns for us Huntly, Rotorua, Papamoa
Great day. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap), ABCDF4, and eyespyben... Signed logs as Team H (Huntly) R (Rotorua) P (Papamoa). We are on the Shore as Gap has a small event to attend later in the morning... There is good news and bad news... The good news is that there are lots of 'Battle of the Bridge' caches to find on this side of the Harbour. The bad news is most of them are G2 caches - These hides are always a bit more challenging and take time to find...
This was a quick find. However, the container required a bit more effort to prise open. We thought the logbook was a novelty touch and pondered over its meaning. We understand now, after reflecting on the description. Thanks G2 and TFTC.

This no more a warzone than Westies are Loopys! All quiet on this front. I had to time things carefully between the Sunday drivers but other than that, no drama. tftc
Going out on this lovely day for the last caches to solve the museum mystery, 1/14. Box may need replacing as the lid was open upon finding it. Plenty of tickets to sign though. Tftc!
Container here looks very old in my opinion. 10 years or something. Still doing good job. TFTC
Another nice and straightforward find here - nice touch on the logbook. The cache had not been closed quite right last time as at some point someone had jammed old logbook paper at the bottom making it impossible. Fiddled around a little bit to remove the mouldy paper which made the rest of the logbook fit back much more tidily and meant the top could be closed. Bit of rust here so it will need replacing at some point, but plenty of life in the old dog yet. Thanks for the cache.
Finally getting round to logging these. Michaelteacher, mee_mi and I decided to do an afternoon of caching together so headed out to Greenhithe. Lovely weather it was!
Cache is in good condition, no trouble finding this at all. Tftc

A quick find by mee_mi today on our loop through Greenhithe. Good times. Thanks!
With the Metservice informing us we were due for a sunny Saturday, hayleyfcy, michaelteacher and I decided to turn a couple of North Shore caches into smilies. After meeting nearby in Glenfield, we decided to do a bit of a loop through Greenhithe.
We were more than halfway round our loop by the time we headed on to this one, which was poking out to greet me as I approached GZ. Loved the themed logbook here. Formalities completed and cache tucked away for the next visitor TFTC

Great idea! However cache didn't have top and was out in the open. Very wet so could use some maintenance (sorry we didn't have supplies with us)!
Well I don't know about cockroaches getting cancer but some ants need exterminating. Either that or they need to find another place to build their nest. Cache was over run and not by westies! I met the lovely westies as Gorbys found his 4000th cache. I'm collecting puzzle caches but this trad was on my way so it seemed a pity to drive past it. A quick find to add to my total today. Thanks
I'm sure I parked in someone's private parking spaces, but no one ran out with a rolling pin, so maybe it was public. The cache was an easy find, but it is in terrible condition being all rusted out, and the log book is falling apart. This one needs some TLC. TFTC.
Had to come back as there were kids playing around nervy, nice and easy but cool hide. Tftc
Collecting bicycles from the workshop the wife and I made the long trip around the bay back home This cache was easily found at a water stop approximately half way.
Tftc!

#14 Needed a rest after getting to the top of the bridge and this cache kindly provided that! TFTC
I tried finding it for half an hour but I didn't look where it was lol

#131. Passing by after a fruitless search at the bus stop cache down the road where the tiger's broke free. Nice quick find by my 5 year old. TFTC.
Quick park and grab on the way to a job. Logbook is very damp and hard to sign. TFTC
Very easy one. Not sure if it was still hidden at the right spot though! TFTC
decided to stop here wile passing my first searches without lokky1 and found reasonably quickly thanks to hint from previous ,tftc
Well wasn't expecting that. Had forgotten about this cache, till now, given we had found it 4 years ago. Thought it was a novel log book at the time and certainly did not expect to come up winner winner chicken dinner.
I was in the area today and noticed I didn't have a smiley on this cache, yet I knew I had found it several months ago with Bertie Blowfish. Whoops... totally forgot to log it!
Joined Merlot 58 to undertake our Secret Mission for the day, & bumped into Aiden29 along the way.
We didn't have to worry about hiding from the stream of cars going by....just pretended to be playing PokemonGo! Signed the ticket book (and left the ticket in there as our log) tftc.

Congrats to Fire-Mansom on winning the draw on the full ticket book!

Another cool hide, didn't take to long to find. Lots of cyclists and cars today so had to be quick. TFTC
Caches like this are always in the last place you look! But then who would keep searching after they have found it (: off to get the bridge caches for today but parked down this street and couldn't ignore the cache as I walked past :p cheers
Feeling a bit silly lol! I see everyone else found it easily lol. Second cache
It's so easy when you know where to look. And we knew but we tried to make it too hard for ourselves. Captured Ticket 101 so log book is now full, full, full.
FITW ivss_xx
Hmmm sad that, I don't have the tickets, or even a place to go away... But glad that the cache was found and its all good here. tftc.

Oh, this was on a plane that was a bit unexpected. But other than that - easy-peasy, park-n-grabby, especially after all the bushbashing we had done just before.
> My baby takes the morning train
> He works from nine 'til five and then
> He takes another home again
> But the ticket controllers get him 'cause he has no ticket to rideeee
Thanks for the cache!

With errant gps this took much longer than it should have. All out of tickets, so no ride for me
1st venture over harbour on my new transport...bit of a search to find cache as errant gps kept putting me on wrong side of road....cheers Roger (V).
All quiet around here and with the good weather a nice stroll along the motorway. Skateboard and scooters were a great combination, TFTC
Quick find here by Tommygun9 after work tonight.

We wanted another quick cache for today's cache and picked this one. After parking nearby I walked over and made finding this cache much harder than it should have been. While I was signing it two walkers walked past but they didn't seem to care.

Was wet and blustery but I was over this way logging the West's Spy Base so thought I might as well get a few more while I was here. TFTC
Wow invaded the shore decided i needed a second look at this for supplies cant believe i missed it last time found it easy this time tftc Lokky 1 13 November 2015 12:06
Out with lokky1 invading the north shore. Found the enemy supplies and we were tempted to destroy them but knowing we are gaining ground for the west we settled for claiming a page! Tftc
After successfully reclaiming the bridge for the North, Kiwiscot & Kiwi now clearing out any Westie insurgents caught behind the front lines. Position now back in control of the North. Ticket 88 collected.
Hey! Whaddayamean loopy westie! Off course I am, I'm here to invade the northern territory of its caches,, done a good job so far, working them off one by one. Cheers G for the noel LB, very cool.
That's the ticket! Nice walk out on Boxing Day. Loved the logbook! TFTC.

Thanks!
Thanks!
Everything in place and in really good condition. Signed the ticket hopefully not looking too dodgy late at night! Tftc
A quick find after breakfast, as we were out and about for the day in Greenhithe with KiwifruitsNZ. The first cache of the day before we tackled the Upper Harbour Bridge! TFTC
After a great breakfast with Vamber at a new cafe, we dcided to head out to secure a few caches in the Greenhithe area.
This was our first cache of the day and a quick easy find to begin with.

Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
We are on our way from West to North, and as we drive along these narrow roads, we look for caches. Thanks again for the hide.

Reperio at 1505 with Sol de lune.
Found on Day 6 of my visit to the North Island as a part of the NZ Mega event...and I met up with Albida33 and Sol de lune for a day of caching before heading back to the NZ Mega event for the closing festivities. As Albida was feeling a little under the weather, we dropped him off at the event site and headed out to make use of the remaining daylight to grab a few more caches. We stopped by this one on our quick tour of the area and soon had the cache in hand.

Day two of the Mega and time to grab a few of the caches centred around the venue. No problems and a another great day of caching was had. Thanks for this one........
Had a look around, looking in all the wrong places before looking in the right place, but didn't take long, even waiting for a few muggles to pass by. TFTC.
Looked in all the usual places and was starting to think it wasn't there, then one more search and there it was, tftc
