Not having much luck with keeping it waterproof so will redo this one soon. A better and harder hide is in mind
Thanks for bringing me to this pretty spot! Cache was sogging wet so couldn't sign it.
Nice quick find, thanks to the hint. Not a soul around this afternoon, which made things very easy. TFTC Code1
A pretty quick find then we sat and watched some slow hot laps before returning to our own legal speed 'hot' laps.
Found this one after hanging around and watching the world go by.shame this reserve closed would have been a lot of fun back in the day great hide tftc
what an easy find.great views with Ash n Breigh who sulked it after not finding it first
On a long drive home back to SA after the QLD Mega, we decided to stay a night in Bathurst and check out Mount Panorama
Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers as we head to Stanthorpe for the Qld Mega. A quick find. It was nice to find this cache as we had a number of dnfs on the mountain. We enjoyed our trip around the circuit. TFTC
Today we explored Bathurst and surrounds with Whitewebbs heading towards Stanthorpe for the Mega using geocaching as a guide.

Day 77 of my trip to Brisbane.
Fifth day on the road, destination Bathurst. I'm having a shortish driving day, to see what I can see, do some caches as I go, and get in some walking with the GeoSchnauzers. It turned out to quite an interesting day, with great scenery, interesting caches, and nice walks. I'm a bit late with the logging, I'm home now, and have five days of caching to log. Have I made 1000 caches on the trip? Today's nineteen gets me to 954.
No 16 of 19 today. Thanks, Code1. Different side of Mt Panorama, excellent views, and an easy grab. There was a muggle nearby, but he was busy drinking a beer (good idea!!) with his back to me.

Nice little camo container but wonder how waterproof it is as log is soaked. Maybe needs a plastic bag. Tftc
Looks like the reserve was a nice little place, thanks for bringing me here, would've never know otherwise, the log is pretty wet also. Thanks for the Cache
Thanks for information about this reserve.
We were unable to sign the log as it was too wet.

We found this one way back in January 2014 but for some reason our log has been deleted or not submitted correctly.
Can't remember exactly but think this one took a little longer on the day as had to wait for the muffles to vacate the area.
TFTC
Wasn't able to recheck this one this visit as a rather large party was setting up as we arrived.

Found with the geo-crew whilst on a mountain bike mounted assault on the McPhillamy caches. There were a few muggles hanging around but the geo-kids made the find without being noticed. Many thanks Code1
Found with Tassiegirl13 while down on holidays from Queensland.
Just absolutely love the track and the big race when it's on so there was no way I would visit Bathurst without stopping by here.
And to find a few caches as well, another bonus.
I remember comming up here pre caching days to the race and thinking with the cars going around the view from here dosen't get much better.

After finding it with geofriends last night, brought something to repair how the cache was held so it's more secure for other cachers.

[green]Leaving Forbes today to head towards Bathurst, took the scenic country route so we could stop and see the AMAZING fossil museum, the kids really loved this! [/green]

[orange] Once we had set up the caravan at the showground (half the cost of the big4) we went off for a drive to see the sights, mainly 'The Mount' of course, lol! we had a nice very slow drive around which annoyed all the other drivers who wanted to fly around, lol, and we stopped at the top to see the views and look for a cache while we were up here. We were shattered that the nature reserve is no longer available to enter. [/orange]

Nicely hidden cache, soon had it found during out drive around the track. SL TFTC
Doing a little blitz in the area - my first time back in Bx as a geocacher and loving the finds. Cheers.
Wow, who would have known this place was even here!! Great place for a cache, thanks for bringing us here!!! Tftc
Found this one on a very pleasant day out with geocaching friends Frebob. Spent most of our time geocaching around Kelso and Bathurst including Mount Panorama.
After our mandatory lap of the mount it was time to make some finds on top of the hill.
They Clubbed the Rebels Down was first and involved a short walk with the roads gates being shut. Fortunately the co-ords where goods and we picked the hide in the second spot we looked for a quick find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC After dipping out at Mchillamy Sunset Take 2 it was off to Joeseph's Reserve. Interesting bit of history with the animals. As it ws wet it was muggle free and we made another quick find. We signed the log and re hid. TFTC

This is one lot of caches that I really want to get while on holiday From WA. Great day out caching in the Blayney/Bathurst area, introduced 3 new people to caching.. TFTC
Today we took my nephews (WakeyWoo) and niece out to introduce them to geocaching. We covered Blayney, the road to Bathurst and Mount Panorama. Attempted 13 caches today and managed to find 11. It was a great day with everyone pitching in to find the caches.
Looked up, looked down and looked all around. The blue tongue lizards kept an eye on us from the gate, scaring me as I didn't see them there! Great hide! TFTC

Up there again! I will have to learn to levitate. Anything some weasly kid with glasses can do...Nicely hidden. Thanks.
Hard work getting there, but the cache was spotted and soon retrieved. The muggles in the reserve offered us a tour, but didn't really care what we were doing. They were busy chasing chickens for some reason. Thanks Code1.
