Logs
We had old data from prior to the archive. Now I don't feel so bad about not finding it.
Found the log lying on the ground...no rock in sight! We had found this before so came back with others.
New hide needed. Left log under shell in corner.

Wow, those are the ones that either you find the mm straight away or you could desperate!

Day two of a three day trip to Auckland for some geocaching and general exploring. Spotted something out of place straight away, just had to wait for the right moment to grab it. Not exactly what I was expecting, but close, a lot of work gone into that. TFTC (2814)
Very cool hiding place! Figured out the right spot without googling the hint, but interested to look it up later! We the first to sign the new log.
I have a goal to find 100 before the end of the year nearly halfway there . still got a lot to go. Was trying to convert my cousin she had fun. but said she wouldn't sign up. Who needs family anyway.
In my experience big gang cars are way too heavy to be used as a proper get-away car, I have found they make far better use as a thingy for keeping boats still when boats don't wanna move!
Found it on our big trip to NZ with an awesome holiday.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Germany. =]

We headed to Devonport this afternoon for a wander around. We found this cache quickly. Log duly signed and cache replaced. TFTC.
Thanks for taking the time into placing this cache, and the work that went into the container, and the history lesson. TFTC
I found this ingenious cache today during a small walk. Had gone to Devonport for the day to clear my head and to get out of the house - what do ya know? There was a cache 300m away or so! So I went for a walk and found this one had to sit down on the grass pretending to wait for a friend due to muggles but I spotted the cache instantly even without the clue! I must be getting good at this with only two left to 100 now! Number 98 found!
Arrived in Auckland yesterday and decided to head over here for a look and was the second cache found.
Nice hide and now to tackle North Head. Interesting to see the army and navy playing cricket as we wandered past.
ThanksG--2 for placing this cache.

At last! Looked many times but experience tells! Straight to it today. No idea about the bullet holes though
We are enjoying our brief visit to this peaceful place. It reminds me of the old fashioned seaside towns in England. We read the information nearby and then quickly spotted the cache. Thanks for showing us this spot.
Very nice cache!!! Saw the place it right away, but in the beginning actually didn't see the cache... Second look helped thanks!!
Wow, this place sure was busy today!i spotted the cache camo almost right away and got it out, signed it and then it took me a few minutes to be able to stash this away correctly. it wasn't until speedhog62 and i were leaving the area that i clicked as the what the name meant! thanks for the cache!

White canes, white canes! Where are the white canes?
We found the cache alright but I got to admit that I did not notice the big gang car anywhere. Not that I was looking for a car either...

Out for some evening caching with ivss_xx
Found the cache fairly easily. But couldn't find the car. May be it has gone for a ride..
Thank you Glynn for the placement.

Great cache - loved it! But oh so muggy today. Luckily had a handy tool to remove tightly wound log. TFTC
Great hide!!! Well done buddy!!
We were lucky that we found it quite quicky but this is the kind of caches that could take you hours to figure it out!!!
Thanx for a great cache!!

I came to this cache with a Thai friend, introducing her to part of the local culture and geocaching more specifically. My heart somewhat fell when I noticed the "G-2" as the owner. If I am going to have trouble with a cache, it is often G-2's. Despite this, I plunged in and we had a quick survey of likely places. Nothing turned up as obvious and I pondered the question a bit, but sadly I could come up with no answer and could not gain any extra information that it might have given me about the cache. I checked a bit more closely and then I saw something a bit unusual given the location. That was a "Eureka" moment. I would like to say it was a my geocaching skill that scored me the cache, but I have to confess that it was more **** than class. My friend's response to the cache was a big and repeated "wow"; she was amazed by the camo and the whole idea. We soon had the log (itself a source of amazement to my friend) signed and the cache replaced in between muggles. TFTC and a great spot on a great day!
Loved the quirky title and enjoyed the walk along the coast to the GZ where Mrs Aljo was quick to spot something unusual. We too were unable to extract the log so took a pic as proof of find. For obvious reasons we don't want to post it here as it would be a spoiler. Many thanks for the cache and greetings from bonnie Scotland.
Cool container. Well done. Took a while but got there. Yes tweezer are needed. No cap. Paper dry. Logged find. TFTC.☺
Easy find for me. Was standing at cache site with phone in hand waiting for a muggle family to pass when a teenage boy from the group walked in front of me and showed his family where the cache was. Great hiding place, great cache, my first in Auckland.
Out for a mission in Devo. Beauty of a day so silly not to be out caching. I'd hate to be the one pulling that thing into the ship! Signed the cache as BS. Tftc.
We had a nice stroll up the hill and then back to find a good restaurant in Devonport - our first time here. We stopped along our way to pick up a couple of geocaches. The lid is missing from this cache container, but the log was dry. TFTC
Now, this one I could have done with some tweezers, as this log WAS difficult to extract. I looked around for a twig and found a dearth of them in this area. However finally I spotted one, which I was then able to fish the log out with. The cache is missing the lid. TFTC G--2.
Ich vergass den Eintrag, dank einer Bookcrossing und Geocacherfreund noch entdeckt und nun eingetragen.
War schwierig das Logbuch raus zu bekommen.
Danke für den schönen Platz

[blue][size=1]On a holiday of a lifetime with Mr Crow (San Francisco, New Zealand and Sydney). Arrived early this morning in Auckland having "lost a day"on the flight from San Francisco. We fought the desire to sleep by doing a cache walk from out hotel in Ponsonby on the coastal route to the Ferry Terminal, took a ferry to Devonport and walked back to Ponsonby via the city. We earned our evening dinner in a fabulous Thai Restaurant but nearly fell asleep over our Phad Thai!

Great hiding spot!! Have walked past here a few times on evening strolls, lovely area!
7125. Went across to Devonport on the (free) ferry while Iris was at a conference. Found seven caches, walked quite a long way and had a nice lunch at the museum before returning to base for a rest. This was cache find number five, found very quickly. Loved the cache name and the container. Thanks. Rodney.
A few boaties carrying out maintenance. But there was enough history here to have us enthralled while we located this one. Then off to check out the Navy Museum for even more history. And a superb coffee.
what a great hiding place, that deserves FP, tftc, could not sign, the logbook was full
Very tricky! Took us a while and it was right under our noses very little! TFTC.
What a great cache! Lots of muggles but got it in the end. Most amazing cache we have found so far.
My friend found the cache but I extracted the log! Great hiding place - best I've seen. TFTC
I was distracted by other previous geocacher that digging under one of the 2 stones, so I did the same, I was fooled. I should read the clue that it just lay under small stone, ah well you got me! I live this creative & tricky cache, well made. Try to email the answer later. TFTC (sorry for my bad english, I'm not native english speaker, my mother language is Indonesia)
Easy find with help from other geocachers exploring Devonport. Harder to extract log than to find.
