This took a little while to find as the pines right around have been cut.Cache is very close to cut pines & maybe in danger of being cleaned up with the left over pine stumps & braches. Also log was a bit wet , dryed out in the sun before taking off.Would have been a magical spot in winter surrounded by the pines.
TFTC.

The most Gorgeous place, moss was everywhere, no ripe fruit but the views made up for it.
Kookaburras and other birds sang to us while we were enjoying the scenery.

After spending the night at Naracoorte with Super Pop we were doing a few caches on the way back to Portland and this was the fourteenth of the day. We wondered if we would get wet getting this cache as the clouds were very black and threatening. We saw quite a lot of kangaroos on the drive in but there were none to disturb around gz. With three pairs of eyes looking the cache was found fairly quickly. At this time of year there was no fruit on the trees but there were still a few leaves
Thanks Udderchaos for the cache

Whoo hoo This is our first ever find.
Found with the kids and sandyliz on 06/04/10 1500hrs.
Very hard to find due to leaf litter but good fun (no plums either)
Left a Forrest mountain bike trails map and took a spakley marble

11-Mar-10
Found it at 1.30pm.
Because of the trees we had trouble with the GPS wandering and took us half an hour to locate it.
Cache was quite wet inside although the logbook was dry enough.
Left compass, took marbles.

Found by Mary & David at 1520. The few plums were still very green. However, every plum stone that falls to the ground seems to have produced a seedling. The most magnificent mulberry trees we've ever seen had some green fruit too. They are suffering from all those years of neglect though, and in places have collapsed under their own weight. The cache contents are very wet, although the log book is fine so far in its ziplock bag. Our thanks again to Udderchaos.

Plums were a little bit small and green but that is a fine old tree

Eterx made hard work of the location before we lost our signal altogether, so we will come back next time when the trees have more fruit on them. Sad

I could see the forest from where I'd pulled of the road, but the GPS'r was pointing in a slightly different direction. I followed the GPS'r and spent ages wandering around before it pointed to the forest, after which the find was easy. Thanks udderchaos.
