Area is still cordoned off so am sadly archiving this cache. I hope that the building will get the OK soon and that someone else places a cache in the area as it is a lovely spot.
I couldn't resist finding the cache and I did not realise it was temporarily disabled. No muggles about LOL.
Did this one during our vacation in New Zealand. Despite the "red tape", it was still safe to retrieve the cache. TFTC.
Found cache, had to be a bit sneaky about it but its still there,

Found 6 of 8 today with WB-Holden at 6:00pm. On holidays from Aus' and heading north tomorrow after shaky night on the 6th floor of hotel at 11:23pm (3.5) last night. Travelling around the park today trying to pick up some cache's on a nice afternoon. Sorry to see the chapel isn't looking so good. (had tape around the building today) Thanks Troodles.
An easy find on a sunny morning. Sad to see that the chapel is not looking good after the recent earthquake, some big cracks showing through the bricks. It would be a real shame to see this building go. TFTC. TNLNSL.
Great place, found with WoolfieNZ and TimTheTraveller (1st time Geocaching). Tftc
Found while caching with friends, lovely spot, but a bit dissapointed the chapel was not open... will have to go back during the week

wanted to do this one for ages - many thanks - had to be the last part we looked
Mrs katiegremlin visited the chapel while I searched for ages (in the wrong place). She was met by a very friendly lady, while I looked under various objects, getting wet in the process. Eventually, after reading the clue, the penny dropped. T4TC.
My GPS was several feet away, but it was pretty clear where it should have been.
Great spot and a quick find on our way out of the Hospital. We are just visiting Christchurch thanks
Found While Visiting Christchurch and took a rest while walking around that area =D

Damp log book replaced. The neat appearance of the garden reminds me I have some pruning and garden clean up to do.
Quick easy find. Just enjoyed sitting here awhile after an enjoyable stroll in the near by park..
9th today, definitely on the way home; iPhone battery low & legs are flagging. Lovely to sit here and rest a moment or 2. TFTC.
Quick find. Lovely spot which we would never have known about.
Paperwork getting a bit soggy.

Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See rebel98 log below. Its been many many years since I was last in Christchurch, so this was our chance to explore, and see buildings and experience all the special things about the city. We have been back since the earthquake, and there was talk of pulling this building down. But on the days that we visited it was open, and we could admire the stain glass windows, and the history of the place. Thanks again for the hide.

Thanks Troodles for the little history insight - it makes caching a real value-add activity! Found as a part of Team McWindeluneX7 as we did a spot of evening caching around the CBD.
Grabbed on a night wander through inner Christchurch. Nice area. Loads of places to look, but with 5 sets of eyes, grabbed in a few minutes.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks Troodles for an interesting but poignant piece of history, and a very nice little chapel. As earlier logs mention, we all came in from different directions to find and log, then back to our apartment to organise for the next day. TFTC!
3016. [font=Trebuchet Ms][green]I personally don't think 5 people could come at the one cache in so many different directios when we all headed off from the same initial spot. However in the end we all bullseyed GZ and a quick find was mad.

The race was on for this one from about 40 metres out. We all went our own ways, but all ended up at GZ.......and then sat for a minute or two.
Thanks for the cache and more night caching fun.

Had a helping hand by a fellow cacher who had already found this one.

Found it together with quantaplanckix on the last day of our two and a half month visit to New Zealand.
3rd visit and Yahoo this time. 1st visit search abandoned due sun worshipper muggle at GZ. 2nd visit cache had been muggled earlier. Cache was surprisingly damp in it's bag. T4TC.
Here for the Australia New Zealand College of Anaesthetists annual scientific meeting. Finding caches ahs been an excellent distraction between lectures.
Finally signed log after 3 visits at lunchtime, there's always a muggle sitting on it.

Appropriately found on ANZAC Day. Water had got into the plastic bag which was torn and the notebook was soggy. We replaced it with another bag.
Found today with Susan. Used to work at this location but I don't think I've ever visited this spot. TFTC.
This is a pretty little garden! Logbook is a bit wet, unfortenately I'm travelling and can't do anything about it TFTC

What a lovely memorial. Quite interesting too, and had no idea it was there. Found with davetaupo.
Glad this spot was saved when the old hospital buildings were knocked down.
Log is damp; plastic bag has holes. Unfortunately I didn't have a replacement to hand.

Easy find. Such a nice garden and chapel and really enjoyed the history. We were geo biking but it was so cold the bikes were still locked by the museum at this stage. PINO TFTC
Netty and I found this cache while out on a cycle ride. It was a good place to have a bit of a breather.
Spent a day caching in ChCh with 2 newbie cachers. A quick find and sign, last for the eveening now off to have dinner TFTC

Scratched around for a bit before we realised where the correct place in the hint was.
Had to comeback later as someone was sitting nearby contemplating somthing for ages and wouldn't move on.
Came back later for a quick grab.
Geokiddies loved playing in the garden on a nice warm day.
Holidaying from Australia. TFTC
Having a caching good time.

Loved the chapel, and a chance to sit and catch our breath, caching with Geobob trip nearing the end. SL
Walking along Riccarton road I figured there would be a cache in there. I had to sort out a PQ before I could find it though.

Yipee our first find of the decade.
Today is four weeks to the day since we were last at Christchurch Womens Hospital for the birth of our son. We were back today for his hearing test. He got the all clear and I got to sign this caches log.
The chapel was open so we were able to look around inside. I loved the craftmanship in the beautiful wooden floor as well as the stainglass windows.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Grateful for the easy hint! GPSr not happy this morning! Found the cache not ideally hidden and visible to muggles. Replaced it in a more safe position 10mm away. cheers, roymerc and 'mothergoose'
Looks like I will never know where it used to be! Found this afternoon after being to the location several times, and finding out now that the co-ods have changed. Glad to cross it off the list, thanks
