As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 14 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Despite the previous dnfs we had 4 pairs of eyes look for this one too but also came up empty handed
Was in area making a start on Torbay....
Saw obvious hiding spot but the cupboard was bare....

A short drive and a couple more caches found this evening. I could see the cleverly constructed cache hide but the container is not quite what it used to be. TFTC, Biggles.
Believe we have found the clever additional camo but no container to be found.
Our first pass drew a blank, but then my muggle friend went back to where I looked and found it. The dogs were happy enough digging up the beach. TFTC
Spent a bit of time scrambling on my knees up and under with no success, then just when I was about to give up I noticed something that looked slightly odd, and sure enough there was the cache
Out and about on the shore this afternoon for a couple of hours of caching. Parked up on the road and made the short stroll to GZ. Waited out a couple of passerby muggles before commencing the hunt. Looked this way then that and there was the cache. All good here. Cheers for the cache placement!
Came here today with NZ:Smarty and Co. This wasn't an east find for us. We also ran into a muggle who asked us if we were geocaching and said that she has wanted to do it for ages so we showed her the app and explained it to her. This was hidden pretty well
After a couple of caches to keep our daily streak running (191 Days). Some time on our hands so we have headed a bit further afield, all the way back to Kiwis old stomping ground. Quick find. Nice job on the hide. TFTC
Excellent hide...well done. Lovely beach. 30 years living in Auckland and we didn't know about this beach. Will come back with picnic soon. Thanks for bringing us here.
Quick easy detour from the main road, few muggles about on the walkway and beach but an easy find and rehide
Many thanks
Many thanks
Finally found this after multiple searches ... My first find ! Thank you .. very clever
This was my second shot at this one and decided to have another run at it. It still took awhile before I noticed the hide. This was a well-done hide and definitely a good challenge to me. TFTC and NINO!
Found on a trip with weyersclan. Such a lovely spot... Thanks for the hide.

Went to the local beach with my daughter. Disappointing day didn't find anything.
Found it after an evening of playing on the beach and standup paddleboarding. We had to search a bit for this one. The trackable is still missing . . .
I enjoyed some caching in this area before flying home tomorrow. Thanks for the hide.
New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 18, In Auckland Region, Northshore. NZ Mega Auckland Day 3. Caching with Sol de Lune getting to the extra event activities. After a fun morning at the reserve the CITO was held in and an afternoon event tag swapping, we headed towards the evening BBQ event location, stopping at a few caches along the way. Most were picked for being simple drive bys. Thanks.

After a walk in Long Bay Regional Park there was enough time left for some afternoon caching in and around Torbay before heading to the Sunset BBQ. Found a few missed a couple. TFTC
Found during the Mega weekend. The weather turned out to be much better than expected, and we enjoyed exploring all the walkways, nooks and crannies. Many thanks to all the owners of the great caches we found.

Day 3 of the Mega and the day was spent attending events and grabbing caches in between. A fun way to spend the day...and to finish up with the BBQ down at the beach was very nice.
Thanks for all the caches and sightseeing around Auckland.......

Found it while out caching with Fencarrows and SethRaven while we were at the Mega Event today. TFTC
A lovely beach - kids had a fab time, and Mum got to log a cache, what more can you ask for. TFTC
Up this way grabbing some caches in between events at the MEGA 2013 at Albany. Nice little hide. TFTC
Day 2 of my trip to Auckland for the Mega event. Today I decided to head north to the Whangaparoa Peninsula to take in some of the views and then to explore the Dairy Flat area to look for some smiles before finishing off the day with some Fish and Chips. The day did not quite start out as intended, so I ended up going straight up the motorway.
I headed back from the peninsula but managed to end back on the motorway so it was a 15 minute drive down the motor before I was able to get off and begin my afternoon of caching. After reaching the most northern of these caches I headed back toward Auckland knowing I had a dinner date.
After dinner I was gathering up a few caches near my accommodation. I spotted the cache hide straight away as I had seen this sort of hide a few years ago.

Found with edvern after completing the NZ Mega Okura Bush Walk. Just starting to rain but we are deternined to go on and grab a few more Lots of fun TFTC
Clever hide, took us a wee while to locate as co-ords were slightly out, but eventually saw something that didn't look quite right, thanks for the cache
Tricky tricky. The person who hid this has a cunning mind, but we are learning fast.
At the Long Bay parking grounds Team Vamber and I met up with KiwiFruitsNZ to tackle all the geocaches in the area. As usual with the New Zealand weather we experienced rain, sun, rain, sun but we proved to be a tough group standing all obstacles and weather changes. Thanks Vamber for another great day out and providing me the pleasure to meet KiwiFruitsNZ… Looking forward to the next big day out . TFTC
Found with KiwifruitsNZ and alpenmilch80 on our big day of tackling the geocaches in the area. A fantastic day of walking in both rain and shine, some friendly competition between team members, and lots of laughs as usual!
Nice hide and quick find.
TFTC and thanks for the company, both alpenmilch80 and KiwifruitsNZ!

We decided today to cover the Long Bay area and joined Vamber and alpenmilch80 for what turned out to be a long, but incredibly fun day. The standard events of a KiwiFruitsNZ/Vamber outing were all there - mud, geo-graphically challenged team members, the ongoing threat that someone would lose an eye to a branch, team members attemting to take short cuts to caches (though the usual suspect was surprsingly well behaved this time), the odd scrach or bruise, a few risks beeen taken, and, most importantly, a lot of laughs and friendly banter (even witnessed a high-five that I never thought I would see!)
A quick easy find.
Thanks to alpenmilch80 and Vamber for an amazing day of caching! Bring on the next outing!

Searched long and hard for this one late last night with Fudge2000 and kentacular. Couldn't find it. Will attempt again some time!
Unfortunately we couldn't find this one, however, it was dark so that could be the reason.
Luckily, not many muggles were around, and those that were, did not pay any attention to what I was doing. They were way to preoccupied by what they were doing. Signed the log and sat at a picnic table to have my lunch before pursuing my geocaching quest. TFTC
3.50pm. Wondered whether we would be able to do this one in view of all the muggles around. However sat on the sand and quietly determined the likely spot. During a lull in the muggle population quickly proved our intuition to be right. Nice locale. we had a professional family photo taken nearby here many years ago.

It was more of a challenge to find a spot to hook up the doggies too. As the beach was full of mugglers, didn't want to get their attention while crawling through the sand hahaha
Nice spot for a cache. Thanks

Started a wider search after nothing close to GZ, spotted by a fellow cacher who helped out with locating the cache, had a quick chat and headed home. Thanks for this one.
We managed to find it in the end! Great hiding spot. Took the little Pokemon and put in a little monkey
Nice location and also a good and well-constructed hiding spot. On a business trip to the 7th State over from the West Island, so it is good to get out and about after a long day in the office. TFTC
Ever since I first visited this area from Scotland in 2004 this has been one of my favourite spots. Glad there is now a ache here so gives me another excuse to sit and look over the tor and rangitoti this gets a favourite from me Thanks.

Decided to carry on to this wacky walkway after Long Bay walk. It was quiet around here today so I spent time more time concentrating looking for the cache. Nice setup.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Our original plan for today changed after we looked out the window and realised it was unsuitable weather. Once the weather improved we cached in Long Bay Regional Park before expanding into the wider region.
There was a wedding party on the beach, but they were too busy celebating to notice us, quick find. TFTC

This was my third go at finding this one, as I kept looking in the wrong places. Only this time "G" was helping and it was easier. Had a hell of a job extracting the cache, and "G" blocked the view of the couple at the barbeque table, so it was easier to put back. A very clever hiding place too.
Nice day on the beach..
