Easy find as it was open on the ground replaced in nearby boot surrounded by pink things TFTC
As I'm driving home, I find a couple of geocaches on the way, This trip was from Coen. I stayed here overnight. All nice and dry Tftc
We are staying over night and took a drive out from town ,Mrs GT 54 found quickly TFTC
Well the shoes are all very well dead now. A nice little momento left with a shoe was all I needed and bingo, found the cache. Dont be looking up. A well needed break from the 3 kids fighting in the car. TFTC
Ugliest ever object!Easy find when seeing previous pics and specially marked object. Here with kiwisteve2 on our way to Emerald. Tftc
Weve seen a lot of these quirky structures out west, but this is definitely the ugliest!! Made a quick find thanks to a cleverly placed implement.*The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT. TFTC. After looking in many shoes like last time I was here, I found it on the ground amongst the pile. Nice to have this one found.
Officially day 2 of our Aussie Outback storm chasing long weekend starting the morning in Aplha, onto Clermont back to Emerald and some of the caches in between. Our agenda had a replacement scheduled and we replaced maybe two today all in all a successful outing culminating in an event in Emerald. Not my favourite type of hide!!! We searched and the hint was so I saw a pic from a previous finder & homed in on that area
Muggle65 and l spent the night in Alpha then headed here after a couple of caches in Rubyvale. Was very happy when M65 spotted it right away. Cache is in great order. Thank you for the fun
Pulled into town as a rest stop on our journey, grabbed this one on our way out of town. Thankfully the husband found the cache very quickly and we were able to move onwards with our travels.

Found while on our adventures across 5 states, WA, NT, Qld, NSW & SA for several months. I was concerned snakes were in the long grass or curled up in one of these shoes in this 35 degree heat. Didn't see any thankfully! Thanks for bringing us here while on a short break home to WA to watxh Coldplay on Sun night
A shoe hanging around with a very faded gave us our container and log signed. TFTC
Dont have attractions, create your own? Quick park and grab, easy to pull in with trailer. Thanks for giving us a reason to stop, much needed!
Found It!A surprisingly quick find. Lots of trucks here today but luckily none were parked next to the cache.TFTC
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches. All COs thanks for bringing us on this nice places and making this caches.
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case TEAM FREAK, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
.Staying at Teresa Dam so a visit to town to shop gave me the opportunity to locate this cache.

On the road from Emerald to Mackay today after a short holiday in Longreach and Sapphire. ️
This is the second time we've found this cache, having logged this as GlobeTrotters7701 on 11/3/2016, I'm back to sign the log as Shadow895 on 15/8/2023. We logged this cache in 2016 on our way to the Emerald Mud Run, where I trashed my shoes and donated them to the tree as an ode to the cache on our way back through. ️️ I am absolutely delighted to have found my shoes I left in 2016 still hanging in 2023, looking a lot more worse for wear!
After taking a recreated photo of when I left them, we quickly found the cache in the shoes right next to my pair! TFTC, still love this weird tree, thanks for the memories. It deserves a favourite point. ️ Found with Globetrotters7701 ️ Back on the road again! ️ (Photo attached is not a spoiler).

What the indeed.
Buttons pulls up the car up right next to GZ and we futz about while a few cars slowly roll past us. This gives me time to read a little, whereupon I turn to Buttons and tell her I have found it (I think).
Sure enough I find it in my first attempt after verifying the purple markers.
Watch out the grass here is long and the ground is very uneven, lumps of concrete etc.
Log signed, button put in and we head off again.
The hint given, may or may not be right depending on a few factors.
My hint is to look above Italy.

Random geocaching on a visit from Perth TFTC no luck ran out of my allocated time.
Mr AND Mrs PP2 were hunting around Europe when Mr Demi made the find. TFTC freaky kwyjibo
Well - that was found a lot quicker than it could have taken!! Well done to Mr Demi who braved the boots and shoes with Mr PP2 - Tftc
We stopped, took in the unique setup, wrinkled our noses and decided that were too grossed out to even bother having a quick look, not for us.

I liked this cache. Without the hint, it could have taken much longer to find the container.
Signed with CybergranV as we were spending the night in Clermont.
Thanks freaky.

Thanks to the hint this didn’t take roo long for Crustyvarmint to locate it. However it did take a fair while after leaving to remove all the pointy seeds from my trousers.

Took us aaaages! So much "boot"y. Sportier footwear would've definitely helped us find this cache faster
We were wrong footed at first but found our feet Haha We agreed with previous post Yak and looking for sanitiser, can’t believe it was placed in 2009 Favoured but not so Hahahaha TFTC
Thankfully previous log provided a good hint and cache was quickly located

Let out a big groan when we got here. Had to go through logs for some hints, didn’t want to search all of the hiding spots. The cache is hiding above Italy.
This one was different.. defiantly not for a Person Who Is afraid of Germs Awsome Hide.. The Purlple cones clue wasnt useful at all, however all in all A good Search. GoodJob Signed & Placed Back..
Looked as long as we could stand before being grossed out. The purple bits didn't help.

Along with the Trudge2TVL mob (Fangsoki, 1MinnieMoo, Captain Terror, Crew 153 and myself) we have been buzzing around the general broader Townsville district all week having a blast .. and today we are heading south towards Brisbane (having left the Captain up there). Via Clermont because we could.
Took a short search, at all times daydreaming of dettol and sanitizer - but actually it wasn't too bad and the hint sure helped. Amazed this has been here so long.
Thanks freaky kwyjibo for entertaining me at this location.

Trudge to Townsville Day 8: the start of the group’s homebound journey. Tonight was a half-way home stop in Clermont. While I was trying to sort out a possible slight error in some coords for another cache, the rest of the group clambered out and the search for Cinderella’s Boot began. I headed over to join them, mentioning what the hint was, however, it wasn’t exactly that way after all this time. However just as I was preparing for some sole-searching, Pprime came up with the goods, relatively quickly overall - one tell-tale caching sign gave it away and had him rechecking something he had noticed.
Thanks for the cache TEAM FREAK.

A 9 day roadtrip to Townsville and back to Brisbane in the Fangsoki Pajero with the usual cast of cachers.
An interesting piece of art??? Or a pile of rubbish. Either way it was interesting to check it out. Cache found after searching a shoe or two.

1MinnieMoo, Crew 153, Pprime, and I were staying in Clermont for the night and decided to grab this cache.
Ahh yes.. well "name checks out" indeed. We looked and looked.. buzzing flies making us ever so happy. Pprime finally found the cache in a place that didn't match the hint. We signed the log and rehid the cache as found.
A great place for a cache. I think I need a shower. TFTC TEAM FREAK

Day 6 of our trek to the Townsville Mega and back with fitzy_1965 and two of my geo-kids Death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Today we headed from Emerald to Charters Towers. This is our last stop before arriving in Townsville tomorrow. An easy day of driving to collect some counties and a handful of caches along the way. Managed to find another cabin for some air conditioned comfort (our car air con is broken!) then decided to do the Tower Hill caches before retiring for the night.
All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

27,527. Found with minniek during our Grand Townsville Trek up to CacheQLD's Townsville Mega Event over Easter.
Day 6 of our Townsville Trek, and we headed north from Emerald up to Charters Towers for our final night on the road before reaching Townsville. A fairly easy drive up with a few interesting caches found before reaching Charters Towers and Towers Hills caches. It was fun to see quite a few familiar names in the Tower Hill logs from over the last few days including today ! At this cache - like others before us - we groaned when we arrived, but thankfully it was a quick find by minniek. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then continued along to the next cache on our list.
Thanks freaky kwyjibo !!

Day 6 of the road trip to Townsville to with LuckyL10n and today it was all about driving from Emerald to Nebo and grabbing caches along the way before hitting up some of the military units series.
No issues with the ones we found and all of these caches were in good condition.
Many thanks to all the CO's. Most logs were signed SdL / L Lion.

#13703 - 8:49:00 AM; Day six of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune and after spending a couple of nights in Emerald, we are now headed further north collecting a couple of caches along the way, including this one, as we make our way towards the Armed Services series around Nebo. All caches were found in good order unless noted in the log and each has been signed L.L10n & Sdl or vice versa. Apologies for the largely generic logs [:o)] TFTC TEAM FREAK
A very quick find. I was busily reading through logs thinking this could take forever and wondering where I might find a pair of gloves to start looking Ian had already departed on the hunt. As I got out the car to help he waved the geocache box in front of me. Too easy. Thanks
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks TEAM FREAK (F=0 H=6) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

This was almost as terrifying as a military appliance but luckily, Mrs Crackers found a log that helped me find the cache before we needed to rip the tree down. Thanks for the cache . . . . . . . we think.
This one had me a little worried when I sighted where we were going to have to search. Mrs Crackers and I were reading some logs when she came up with a great suggestion and Papi4506 made the find soon after. Thank you for the cache.
We are zig zagging our way north with micaparamedic, Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 and are slowly heading towards Mackay today but obviously picking up anything else that turns up along the way.
We pulled in here and although there were a few trucks and caravans around none of them were near gz or looked like they were being occupied today but our hearts still sunk as we approached gz and thought to ourselves how cruel can you be. We started hunting around while Diane was reading previous logs and found a hint that happily we deciphered and when again Papi4506 came up with the goods and we happily added our name to the log.
To save room in the log we signed as "The Vics"
Thanks for the cache freaky kwyjbo.

Found at 5:29 PM GAFF4.
We camped here for the night and it was a bit warm in the van, so we headed off on a little walk and low and behold a cache was just 48 metres away. However as we approached and saw what we were in for, a slight groan came out of our mouths as we have been stumped by these sort of hides before [B)]
After a very brief search, we looked at the cache description and soon found that the cache description is now way out of date and makes no sense and the hint is even worse! That is one reason we don't look at the hint unless absolutely necessary and we did on this occasion only to be misled
Anyway all in all a good diversion and some entertainment.
Thanks TEAM FREAK.

We tried and tried, but there were just too many booties for us. Our thanks anyway to TEAM FREAK.
Just had to go and have a look for this cache as we were staying here for the night. Stood and looked carefully, finding different pairs of footwear and a lot of single items. Poked into a few that looked to be possibilities and soon found the cache. Signed the log along with ilook4geo and carefully replaced container into the same place.
We are pleased to say we did not have any footwear of the standard required to be able to add to the display here.
Thanks go to freaky kwyjibo for adding another interesting item to this collection.

This one didn't take as long to find as it might have. Sometimes luck plays a part. Log was signed, along with goingplaces2, all was replaced and it was back to the camping area for the night. TFTC.
Stayed the night up in the trees so it was a short walk. Dunno whether the tree sheds or if the carpet of rejects lay where they're tossed. Anyway despite the extensive collection and the fact there's not a pair of any that we could see, the cache was a quick find. TFTC TEAM FREAK.
Looked and looked, no joy, I am a local so easy to say I’ll be back to finally find it.
Interesting cache found easily enough left a rabbit cache is all good, Tftc cheers
BenM70 said it might take me a little while. He was wrong. Even found with two mates that were very hindering.
Thank you TEAM FREAK for placing this cache for me to enjoy!
Found with Dora the Explorer after some help with previous logs. An interesting spot. TFTC
I met up with Konie again this morning to continue working on this power trail. Next, we came to this cache. A quick find was made and the log signed. TFTC
Heading west from Nebo to Clermont today and picked up the rest of the Military series and other caches along the way.

Thankfully this was straight forward, didnt really want to go exploring smelly feet homes which may have become homes to something else, so happy to be quickly into it. Tftc
Mrs SKI found this one much quicker than we thought we would when we pulled up.
Another day heading south as we begin to work our way home, this one a reasonably long one as we head from Charters Towers to beyond Emerald. We’ve seen large birds we guess might be brolgas, quite a number and a kangaroo or two. Had to pull off the road to let two low loaders carrying dismantled Tonka mining trucks go through. They were 8 metres wide! Not much traffic and a number of rain showers but a good day.
Oh, and we collected a few caches a,one the way!
Thanks to the local COs for developing and maintaining the caches that have broken up our journey.
