As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me within Three Weeks, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.

While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Hasn't been checked as far as I can tell so may be it's time it was archived?

Waste of a stop here. 2 dnfs. Since landscaping looks to have removed initial hide and the area is now full of thistles perhaps this should be archived?

Could CO please check. The area is down a thistle covered bank very close to a stream. Perhaps this should be archived since it has not been found since September 2016. Thanks.

Cache number 182. This was lying on the ground in a place I don't think was intended. I put it back into the hole I think it was supposed to be in. TFTC

Long time dream came true and we could visit New Zealand. NZ Mega was our maingoal and we had time to find others too. We travelled together with Veke68, Katsukka and tanjuli (+husband) and had great time. We used TVVK Fin (that is tanjuli, vipema, Veke68 <3 Katsukka) in mostly logbooks to save space.

24th October. First day of the Mega event in Kaiapoi.
Thanks for putting this cache out for us to find. Much appreciated.

[green] Well, today is the big day. One od the big days, 12 cache types in one day day. But everyone is still asleep! So Edvern and I decided to go out and get some local caches first. Quick find here. I accidentally left my GPS here as we went on to the next cache. Decided to run just in case some friendly cacher came in a pickedit up before some unfriendly muggle stole it. But when we got back it was still here. Whew!

First day in New Zealand with Vipema, Tanjuli and Katsukka and many nice caches and of course Mega Event.
We usually logged only TVVK FIN to save space in the logbook.

This was a great weekend and certainly one of my top weekends spent caching... Mega events are a great way to catch up with familiar faces and meet new ones... We also enjoy the social aspect of events

From the moment 'the Event' was announced we committed to attend... Planning the holiday around the Event is also something we enjoyed... This was Tomboy 711's first Mega and first time to NZ...

Never having been out of Australia before, this was a very exciting trip for me
Today was a good day with caching, pathtag trading and a convoy of New Zealand (fire-mansam & Fuzzyfruit), Victorian (TR! and Snap Happy) and South Australian (parislaura, Team Jacob, Tomboy711, The Travellinbees and I) sharing fun and laughs [^]
Today's tally was 34 cache finds, 1 Mega event attended and only 2 DNFs

What a wonderful thing is a Mega! Seeing fellow geocachers with their flags on driving around town, tooting at those who are at caches and meeting many new people

We are logging all our NZ MEGA 2015 caches after the event so that we can say how much we enjoyed our experience in Christchurch/Kaiapoi. The weather was perfect … the programme excellent … the organising team had really excelled themselves to provide a wonderful weekend. Congratulations to them all. We were also impressed with the sponsorship the management committee had managed to acquire – thanks to them also. We found your cache, richbritty, on a cruise round Kaiapoi, on our bikes, during the weekend. TFTC.

Found as part of the trinations

My six year old an I enjoyed a nice walk to GZ while my wife watched over our other son who was napping in the car. We were in town for the Mega event and had had a horror start to the weekend with flights canceled, rental car issues and getting lost on the way to our accommodation (yes I realise how silly that sounds given our hobby) and were glad to be finally hunting out some local caches. No problems with the find, thanks for placing it.

We collected these caches either as part of a group assault during the Mega or just Mr & Mrs Bee whilst traveling around with Muggle John seeing the sights of your fine countryside.

Group assaults occured with the Aussie invasion of Travellinbees, Locus Cache, Paris Laura, Team Jacob, SnapHappy, Tomboy711, TR!, and two ring ins New Zealanders Fuzzy Fruit, & FiremanSam

We jet boated, walked up hills, sat in sulphur pools, walked through ruined cities, botanical gardens and general beautiful countryside.

We have thoroughly enoyed our short holiday over here on the South Island and we based ourselves in the CBD, Adelaide and Christchurch are sister cities and it was surreal to be part of that.

We climbed fences, crossed rivers, climbed tree's and hopped around like gooses, we collected many smilies while on this trip and we collected many new friends.

Geocaching has given us many pleasures and this cache was one of them.

Yes this was found no trouble thanks !

Here for the mega event with Triciac2 and Dutchie1950. We did a few things at the mega this morning and had a couple of hours to fill before dinner so what else to do but find some nearby caches.

We almost went too far for this one, very well hidden.

Another late night stop for a group of newly acquainted cachers, a little bit of a look around a couple of objects trying to narrow down the GPSr, and soon enough the container was found, the log was passed around to add the names and soon we were on our way again.

Was ill off work, but needed my cache for the day!! So late in the evening, when Mr husband got home, it was time to go out for the cache of the day.

Picked this as an easy close to home one, that would also help with the license series of caches.
We took the nice short stroll to GZ in the dark, wet grass, and luckily made the find quite quick - I'm surprised this cache isn't found more often!! Almost 4 months without a find!!
