The log was found on the ground. It has been placed under a brick at location.

Fount it but not where it should be. Maintenance log added.

01-Aug-11
Have spent a great deal of time over three separate occasions to find this cache (didn't log DNFs because I thought it was me being blind!), but alas, it still alludes me. I suspected it was very well hidden, but today I'm not so sure as I found a smallish empty ziplock bag on the ground (but no other cache remnants). Will keep watch to see if anyone else is able to find it. Sad

16-May-11
Very clever cache, may easily have wandered for a long time! Definitely do Ngunnawal!

15-May-11
Have parked here several times and was where Code 1 got a taste of ACt caching several years ago. Some how I always manage to find my self going around this round about at least Once every trip down here.
JABs.

15-May-11
This is a memorable part of town as its the area of my first few cache finds in this part of the world and now have hundreds of finds in the ACT.
I like this type of hide and have found a couple before so picked it quickly.

Tforce5 put me onto this one.. they said they loved it and that we should give it a go...

I love these types of clever camo's... geodaughter walked straight past it, but i thought, i didn't quite look right! though a poor old muggle wouldn't give it a second glance...

Spent a few moments working out how to access the log and all was good...

Top stuff growingupisoptional.. gunna give this a favorite Big Grin

Fantastic camo.

After reading all the "Don't do Ngunnawal's" I was expecting just a boring old cache that could be used to keep the stats up. However very wrong I was. TFTC.

24-Apr-11
Great hide - walked straight up to it thinking it was quite fortuitous, disappointed with the result but then it clicked.
Thanks Surprised)

23-Apr-11
Nice hide.

18-Mar-11
Found on the way home from a bile ride. Loved the camo, i really appreciate a cache that blends in whilst being plainly visible. TFTC

as this is only our 4th find, GUIO is giving us a real learning curve in things to look for in a hide.
very clever.

(going to direct a fellow cacher to this to see if we get to have a giggle at someone else's confusion)

Great hide. Our youngest found it.

17-Jan-11
My second go at this. My head was more in the zone but the TomTom insisted on me parking on some back street some 1.5km away. I'll be having words with him later. As others have said, clever hide! Maybe this structure could also be in the next Grand Designs as well ????

15-Jan-11
Very nice little cache this one. Thankful.

04-Jan-11
A quick caching run, hoping work wont call me in this arvo! Another clever hide from GUIO. TFTC!

Our 4565th overall find. This was my 66th find of 137 total finds for our Canberra and surrounds caching spree with FarmerFrentzen

Found at about 11:44 AM. Nice little bit of camo that would trick most muggles but not us. It amazes me that after all the years I have been caching in Canberra that this roundabout is still a dead end.

Thanks to growingupisoptional for the cache.

Found during a mini invasion of the ACT and its surrounds with Big Matt and Shell.

I spotted where this one would be straight away and sure enough there it was.

I walked right past this one. Then TaurusSix following me got curious and realised the nature of the hide. That was a new one for me (two in a row now). TNLN.

Having just done two others in the series I knew that this was not going to be a plastic box under some twigs. Sure enough it was another clever hide. TFTC

To be fair, I should have initially logged this as 'didn't find it' as, after spending nearly 30 minutes this morning looking for this cache I had to admit defeat. The XYL had taken the geohound for a long walk in the surrounding area but not long enough to enable me to find the cache and I left feeling somewhat humbled by the experience.

More research was needed and although a lot of my fellow cachers had left some interesting and thought provoking comments in the log, I knew it was going to take some lateral thinking to find this one. To clear the mind, I decided to go shopping for a while and try again later in the day.

Remembering some of the words of advice I'd received from my mentor Agent Basil during my introduction to geocaching, I had another go and, within 10 minutes found it Smile A very clever hide and certainly my most challenging cache to-date.

The container is starting to show some signs of wear and tear and isn't far off needing replacement.

30-Aug-10
Great camo! After last night's experience I spent more time just standing and looking before touching anything. Once again I was still fooled, but not for as long. I won't forget the look on geokid's face when we found this one. Smile

10-Jul-10
Great camo - It's not often that you handle the cache, put it back down and keep looking (although that has happened to me twice today!) There was something suspicious about it though, and after more thorough investigation and the cache was in hand. We've been out caching all day (this is #21) and nice to finish on a high with a few really inventive hides in Ngunnawal.

Thanks growingupsioptional.

Nice hide and it took me a while to grab this one. A terrific camoflauge I might say so myself. TFTC and the time of life I will never get back!

#4168 Not being from around here I wasnt sure what was happening with the roads around here. The cache was soon in hand. A method I've seen a few times before.
Thanks

09-May-10
Very clever hide, unfortunately the log needs replacement, we had to sign on the side of the log.

29-Apr-10
Reperio at 1700. Expected to be able to park next to GZ, however that wasn't going to happen with the concrete blocks in the way. Once I got to GZ, the cache immediately jumped out at me as it just didn't look right even though it is a well constructed hide, and soon enough, the log was signed. Log book is jam packed full so it will need replacing asap.

Gratiae.

22-Apr-10
Admired your create camo. SL. Thanks Growingupisoptional

17-Apr-10
Aha - another 'it's obvious, but it's not....' hide. Whilst the log is full, CazBol and I were able to find some small clear space and sign in 'hazard orange' so we weren't missed Big Grin

thanks for the Cache, GUIO - another in a great series.

Great idea for a hide and there was only one way I could think of confirming the cache before retrieval. Well done! Log book is chock-o'-block and needs replacing. Cheers and TFTC!

I checked here, I checked there, and then I saw that and I knew. Councils never use those ones - too expensive! More good work though.

Decided that since the weather turned cool it would be a great day for a bike ride from home to do this series.

This was the second one we stopped at again I saw something odd and though mmm. Now all I had to do was figure out where the log was.

On our cache round-up in Gungahlin. The weather was threatening and we managed four seasons in a few hours. At GZ a short search revealed a clever hide. I always like these bold cache! TFTC

This is a part of Canberra I don't visit often. Takes the lure of a cache to get me here, and this one was certainly worth the drive. Fantastic Hide TFTC

31-Dec-09
Did this one as our first cache with Fore!, allrounder and geo-hound Huxley on a day out caching in the hols. Cool hide and what caching should be about....appreciate your trouble to construct and hide!!! Well done growingupisoptional. TFTC TNLN Fun Big Grin

31-Dec-09
Found this one on a caching adventure accompanied by Shadow!, allrounder and Huxley the geohound.
This year I think I have found less than 30 hides, so today I *almost* doubled my year's finds.
allrounder had already done this one, so she stood back and smirked whilst Shadow! and I searched.
The eureka moment was quickly upon us with a "... hmmm... that would be a good thing to put there" kind of moment.
So, TFTC. Took nothing, left a tennis ball (just kidding) and went on to find your next one.

29-Dec-09
This was our first ever cache and truely ingenious. My kids loved it and are now truely hooked on Geocaching. Many thanks.

Oh that was just wicked Twisted, pure evil you are. Took me a while and for some reason I chose not to trust the Geocache Navigator that kept pointing me to one spot. Once I opened my mind as well as my eyes, cache was soon in hand. Thanks for a not so quick micro....now I'm worried, seriously worried about what your other caches will be like (gulp). TFTC Smile

A late log I'm affraid....work has been ridiculous! Finally found my first "Don't Do Ngunnawal" cache on a lazy
Sunday afternoon caching with Cache_ranger......Mrs TBHL isn't getting around to fast at the moment, so I
left her at home. What can I say GUIO, besides fantastic cammo! Can't take the credit for finding it though, that honour
went to Cache_ranger. TFTC guys, and thanks for giving the Nth side a few more caches to keep me busy Big Grin

After meeting up with Bewilderbeast near Yerrabi Ponds, we came up here for a hunt. Got to GZ easily, then a bit of zen caching led me to the hide. Very nice camo.

I was sort of out this way (Hall) and wanted to do a few caches but I somehow messed up loading the GPS so traditional caches were on the cards. Was able to grab this one and #1. Loved the cache containers at both locations. I think I was lucky to spot this one. Nice!

24-Jul-09
On a hunt in the late afternoon we found the air here is quite a bit cooler than down in old South Aus. Had seen this sort once before otherwise I think that we may have had to log a DNF. So now it is a smiley face!!!!
Thanks.

19-Jul-09
My dogs are currently splayed out exhausted at my feet snoring away. Today was my first caching trip this far north - I'm a bit of a homebody most days but I seem to be running out of caches down south (I wonder why?). Having already done several other caches around the area I planned to finish with the 1-5 circuit.

This one was first on my list and I searched and searched and searched for at least 20min, maybe more - I rarely check times. I got up high and looked down; I got down low and looked up; I circled, back-tracked and bush-whacked my way around the site to no avail. SadSadSad Pretty much declared this one as a DNF but thought I'd finish the loop and return as my car was parked nearby.

Back to the car quite some time later having also missed #1 (a DNF Twisted) and #5 (which I now note is off-line [B)]) I was feeling a little put-out with myself and determined to have another go. Thankfully things were easier! I had the makers signature now so a better idea of what I should be looking for. What do you know - found! Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Last one in the (active) loop. Very clever hide.

Thanks!

12-Jul-09
Anna and I picked this one up this morning fairly easily.
Upon reaching GZ, something seemed quite out of place, and I think Anna's response of "Surely Not" sums it up quite nicely.

Very clever hide - I'm slowly working my way through this series. Smile

Cheers

First glance at this series of caches shows some real potential, very inventitive. I was a bit worried by the amount of rocks and slabs laying around here but a good overall look before diving in revealed something out of place that turned out to be the cache, there you go. Nice one.

04-Jul-09
Another great cache, it had me fooled Smile. Went out with Pink Smurfette and was the first find for the morning. TFTC.

03-Jul-09
Second attempt to find this cache and only found with some helpful advice from fellow caches.

Having never seen this type of trickiness before I was tapped out of ideas after my first search (alright, two searches) - too many rock cairn's distracting me.

Found early this morning by torch light, signed log and chuckled at deviousness. Geohubby wasn't so impressed (it is a fair walk from our place and back so he would have preferred not doing it three times!).

TFTC, it has given me incentive to go back to some other DNF's I have had to re-attempt.

#204: Another interesting hide. Now one more to go.

30-Jun-09
Found this one with Rubai on a trip around the area.

Very nice. We continued on from the previous to this one, and once we arrived it couldn't have been anything else. After a few maneuvers we had the log. I was a little worried about the radiation warning as we approached, though upon closer inspection it seems that not having a pacemaker, I should be fine.

Thanks, Jezzza Xtreme.
