In honour of better quality caches, I am pulling this one.
Thanx to all who found it.
Thanx to all who found it.
At first we didn't think it was worth to hunt this one after reading the previous two logs as it was a miserable cold and wet day...however we decided to try our luck...took a while before Ms Bushies2 found it Thanks MtnLioness.
No luck for us. It was raining, sat loc was poor and it could have been in one of a million places. Only had time to search 999,999.
Not a fan of these types. Prefer to spot something out of the unusual, or rely on our instincts where we would put the cache. We didn't stay long kicking leaves as we were on a mission. Maybe some other day.
Took way longer than it should have, so much loose leaf litter to look through - came up with it eventually.

Hate the bush litter leaf ones! GRRR! found with devilslilsister and Bigblueal
Found this cache recently and suspect my kids will want to tell MtnLioness all about it...
As people who started recently we are enjoying this game...

This poor cache seems to get a bit of cache creep.
Replaced in original spot with a nice groove to rest in now.
All is good now.

Interesting spot, loved the galvanised iron house just down from the roundabout that was leaning somewhat - TFTC
Round & round in th the car, round & round on foot following the GPS, then round & round some more evading muggles cycling past.
Team "A"
boy, what a pain this one has been in the past few attempts, muggles near GZ, council workers, rain and everything inbetween.
Finally 5th visit later, we had that damn little plastic container in our hands.
TN LN SL
thanks for the find,
Cheers from the FLIPPERS,

Well-hidden cache in the park. The oldest geo-son felt a bit childish and tried the tire swing.

Another cache in this area off the unfound list. To the old woman sitting on her walker down the street it must have looked like I was going round and round to nowhere in particular. After seeing the old woman while approaching GZ I thought that I would have little hope of a smilie here today. The GPSr was showing the street map and looking at the area I thought that the cache would be on the round-about. Finding a convenient stop for the bike I switched the GPSr over to the arrow which was pointing at the round-about. Time to give up I think. Back on the bike and over the road to the round-about, all the time watching the arrow and distance. It was then that I realised where the cache was, so I continued around the round-about and up the path.
After finding the cache, and leaving Troop 185 TB, it was back on the bike and around the round-about for the last time.
Todays ride included a non-caching milestone that has been achieved partly through caching every day: the bike's speedo turned over 6,000km. Not a bad achievement in less than eight months.
Thanks MtnLioness for the cache.

A difficult area and got very very scratched up after a 20 minute search. Left with nothing in hand and didnt care to rummage around any more.
Cute tire swing across the way tho.

Very tricky hide, it took some time for us to spot it. TNLN. thanks MtnLioness

Bloody cars had to wait constantly for vehicals to pass before continuing search, but was made easier by having geodog with us,
finally managed to have a clear and concise 10min searching window and found it in the dark.
great hide have covered better this time as it was almost uncovered by the bark.

This was cache # 62 of 68 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. The name of the cache described what we had been doing all day, we had no trouble on the cache. My thanks to lioness & milkman for the cache.
Found while driving aimlessly around with Acts2YouthGroup. A thankfully easy hide as we were getting to the end of a long day. Thanks lionness and milkman.
This took longer to find than it should have because we read the one-word hint. Mr Ozjeeper still found time for a go on one of the nearby tire swings
Found on an Adelaide Invasion in the company of Big Matt and Shell, The Rats and Steeba on our 24hr record caching run. Find number 196 for the day and a new Australasian record! TFTC
Found on Adelaide Invasion trip with The Rats, Big Matt and Shell and Farmer Frentzen.
This ended up being a significant cache for our team. After caching for the best part of 22 hours this was find number 196 (hope I've got all the logs right!) and a new Australian record for caches found in one day.
Of course a big thankyou to my fellow team members (The Rats, Big Matt and Shell and Farmer Frentzen) for a a wonderful experience.
Now on to make sure that it is harder to break next time.

The Gangsters (The Rats, Big Matt & Shell, Farmer Frentzen and Steeba) found this cache as part of our record breaking run around Adelaide.
There was lots of celebrating at this cache. This was the cache we set a new one-day record with. Ill upload some pics of the hysteria soon.
Thanks for being part of the hunt.

Found this cache on our Adelaide invasion trip with Steeba, The Rats and FarmerFrentzen. This is find number 196 on the Australasian record attempt. This is a new Australasian record for the number of caches found in 24 hours.
Thanks lioness & milkman for the cache. We took some pictures of the very tired crew at the GZ. BTW don't tell MBO but I'm catching him...

Wow - These roads are a trap if you don't know the area ! Ended up coming off the roundabout (from the north) and went into the exit from Lee Street . Glad there was no traffic around at the time.
Didn't take long to find this on a pleasant day.
Took stamp. Left a safety man. SL.
Thanks Lioness & Milkman .

We went round and round, and round a bit more, but eventually A spotted something out of place.
Interesting structure across the other side of the street.
The wind was blowing from the south, so it was a nice cool breeze.

An interesting 'park' in the middle of suburbia. Covered with bark!!! what a clue for an area packed with trees. The extra covering mentioned helped. Really pleased to find Geocoin "500 Finds" from Sth Africa. TFTC
Pulled up and did some puddle jumping and then the find. Nice day out on Fathers Day. TFTC
Another cache that wasn't on the list to do today but wasn't far out of the way. Got to GZ and had the cache in hand after a short look around. TFTC
Found on way to the Pub lunch... Doing another cache close by so thought we would grab this one too.... Soon had the cache in hand... Seems like the bark had been replaced with rusty pieces of pipe, so placed some more bark back on top when putting it back.... TNLNSL Tks guys for the cache....
Straight to it, GPS was right on the money. FeatherWaite, was that you in the car driving past laughing as we replaced the cache? [:o)]

I parked out the front of that house just up from the round thing. What a beauty. Can't wait until there is an open. Though the path to the front door could take a while.
Fantastic character. [^]
Clear skies from TeamAstro.
tricky to park.
found with Skippy and SA Parrothead great to meet you and thanks for the help

I just had to look for something a bit different here
Caught up with Honeysucker at GZ and had a good chin wag

It took me a while to park here as further down the road were signs saying I was being watched.
I knew I would look suspicious enough at GZ so I took that as a hint and moved my car past the roundabout.
Then the cache was found straight away which was most unexpected.
Thanks

Find 670 My Way Without a GPS at 9.30am
Found the cache in the first place I aimed the plastic detector.
Thanks to the lioness & milkman for another cache in the north west suburbs.

'Despair' would be the first reaction Mr O felt when approaching GZ and seeing that 'bark' could put the cache literally anywhere. It was a miracle that the cache was found in less than 2 minutes! TFTC.
Out for a night run with Everlasting and Trail06.
We were driving by when this one appeared on the screen. A quick stop and the cache was quickly found. In fact I didn't even get there before it was found.
So sat lock is difficult, isn't that part of the challenge? We had no problems with this cache.

No problems finding it here, it was almost uncovered, and I saw it quickly

This cache is all about luck. The hint was pretty useless; It would be like hiding a needle in a stack of needles and using the word ‘needle’ as a clue to find it!??? I was juuuuust about to consign it to the ignore list when, as luck would have it, I kicked THE pile of crap that was hiding it.
Round and round we went until SNP eventually found the cache nowhere in particular .
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Yep round and round it was.
Found it some metres away from our GZ.
Be careful as there was some broken glass near GZ and Shane4 had to dig some out of the bottom of his shoe.

Coordinates seemed quite off but eventually found it after a lot of kicking debris around.
I went round and round in circles looking for this one [:o]
Lucky there were three of us [:d]

FTF !!! Noticed this one earlier this morning but with a little one around I was slow to start. Eventually attempted at 1035 and found an empty log book. A great opportunity to get out into the sunshine with geo-toddler. TFTC.
Have often come past here when not In Particular hurry home.
Interesting artwork on the otherside which almost became home to a cipher cache
Quickish stop on the way home with Cal, and in the darkness eventually stumbled upon it, as GPS accuracy wasn't that great under the canopy.
Signed and returned (I think I got the right one).
