After several DNF's, and a visit ourselves to check the cache, we came up with a DNF as well. Therefore, we must assume that the Echo Pointer is now MIA.

Alas like the last 2 logs - no cache to be found.
I don't use a GPS just the photos and hints - we are certain we got the spot and searched high and low. Suspect a fisher-muggle has a new tackle box !
Still a nice walk to East Killarra and back. Cheers

Well the area described in the hint was straight forward to find. I searched all nooks and crannies from underneath and on top but with no joy. It's possibly been muggled out due to its ease of access from the trail. And an area that would have adventurous and curious muggles taking a look at the features.
Sadly no evidence of any cache.

Searched for ages with 3 people and couldnt find anything even slightly resembling a cache :/
Great work guys. Found the spot in a fantastic hidden location. Look out for more as we are about to place some too.
Nice spot here. So many good places to put a cache. It took me around 15 minutes and I got some strange looks from muggles when I was down on my hands and knees searching. Dropped a geocoin that i've been holding on to for way too long (forgot I had it, sorry). TFTC!
Was passing by with geodog in car so stopped for a walk and cache check.
Every time I check this cache it has moved to a new position within a few metres!!
I will replace the log next time and find a few trinkets as it is looking very bare.
Unfortunately there are no trackables in the cache or nearby. Will advise owners later.
This little park is a beautiful as ever. GD enjoyed her swim!

This was an interesting hide. I was concerned I’d be sprung by a muggle whilst in a vulnerable position but was able to retrieve, sign and replace without being seen.
I have never been to this pleasant park before but must organise to return and walk the Two Creeks Track sometime soon.
Thanks GSPVX.

TFTC I like the new spot better than the old one because it is more secure than the last one — HUMESHNYESS

#3532- Having driven nearly 70 km solo on the geotrek, it was nice to relax a bit and wander a short distance to this cache. Thegeomonster was looking for it when I arrived. A quick look and she had CIH while I waited back further. Thanks.

After completing GEOTREK 2016 event, came to this nice spot. Didn't need to search as other geoTrekkers still had CIH. TFTC.

Found it after wandering along from a nearby 'event'. Found with geoboyfriend (known as TahMan know apparently), Digby23 and Digby23's assistant Audrey (she's so cute!). Geoboyfriend went in for the find for us and I completed signing duties for all. Thanks for bringing us here and the interesting information in your cache description. A truly lovely spot. Oh and Digby23 did indeed point out the middens on the way, very interesting.
A quick find while at the Geotrek 2016 lunch stop.
No doubt the log book will be a bit fuller after this day.
Thanks for the hide GSPVX.

Found it on a glorious Sunday while attending the 2016 GeoTrek. A quick find in the only spot it could be. TFTC
It would have been silly not do a cache just 40 meters from a geocaching event we were privileged to be attending here in Echo Point Park, so at an opportune time, Mumma-Kel and I (along with our junior team members) took temporary leave from the chit-chat to go in search of a smiley.
As we approached GZ, a man suddenly popped out from between the rocks and before we even had a chance to think about what he might have been up to, he said, "It's up there!" ... nice to meet you purplepeopleeater! Newby GeoZoe then went in and made her first find ... well done Zoe, and thanks GSPVX for placing the cache in such a great location.

Travelled down from the Central Coast today for a GeoTrek adventure with Opa-Shrek and a pair of geo-kids... And we were pleased to find it brought us to a finishing spot neither of us had been before, and conveniently with a nearby cache - we excused ourself from the gathering briefly and wandered over to this GZ where we sent the geokids ahead to find - freshie Geo-Zoe was told what to look for, and in moments the delighted "I got it!" from a first time finder was heard
found this one after the Geotrek, we were close to this one, so we decided to hnt for it.
found some like minded folks as we hunted.
thanks for the cache.

Great cache! Out cleaning the local area of a few close to homes and this would be the best of the day so far. All quiet on a Monday and a top placement and location. FP awarded, Cheers!
What a delightful spot!
This cache bemused me for a while; the hint was critical.

New to this game and found our first geocache at Echo Point park near our house. Great hiding spot and great fun looking for it. Thanks.
Unsure which trail/path to take as I wandered along past the ammenities, open cycle maps showing me that I should be on the bottom trail. Changed down to the lower trail along the steep dry creek bed at a small decking bridge.
Made my way up to the GZ as per hint and visually spied the hide. Took some time to retrieve it though, returned to its same position. A real treat to visit this place, thanks GSPVX

It was fabulous to convert this one into a smiley. I have been here several times but this was the first time I seriously looked for this cache. I initially began my search on a higher level but soon realised that I may need to drop the altitude. I found a spot that seem to fit the clue but it still took me about ten minutes before I had the cache retrieved. No one around today so that made the searching so much easier. Thanks for the enjoyable hunt GSPVX and adding to my global geocaching experiences.

None of the 4 trackables were there. Great view. Although cache was out of my reach, I had to find a long stick to get it out from where it was hiding..
The Strasser family found the cache , unfortunately there was no prize inside , we added a small figurine inside for people , this was tricky to find and found just before raining , awesome.
great find but I come bak now and its all messed up cuz someone trashed it plz fix
Took a while to locate this one. After looking at photos we then soon honed in on the hidey hole. TFTC

Decided to head East towards Roseville and Killarney Heights for today's caching. Found four, but also had two lengthy DNFs.
Two of the attempts were higher terrain, with a few hairy spots - but navigated them - phew!
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Level, level, level!
That was the issue here.
Parked a bit further away than I needed to, but then made the pleasant walk to GZ. Once there a number of possible hides presented themselves. Eliminated the easy, obvious ones. Now for the less easy ones.
The 15 minute search finally gave up the prize.
Well, it makes sense - should have thought of that earlier.
Nice view from GZ.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Then I found a quicker path back to The Hademobile.

Awesome spot. Great place for a picnic, and a fun cache to find.
Left our little trackable friend, TT.

Found it two days okay on a lovely bush walk. Was in the right spot originally, then doubted myself. Eventually the BF found it! Very clever spot. TFTC
#144 would be a nice spot for a family picnic.
Logs from CO on 6/12/14 and maruce on 31/12/14 pretty much say it all.
Bring an adventurous GeoKid with you if you are taller than 6' and don't feel like a 3m crawl to get the CIH.
Instead I came solo on the way to pick up supplies in Chatswood. Note to self: remember the Aerogard and watch out for wasp nests. TFTC
No trackables in the cache. Don't forget to log them peeps.

I followed the CO's instructions and entered the crack on all fours from above and made the easy find under some natural camo.
Went for a look today but had no luck. Looked from above and below.
Will have to come back another day.
Will have to come back another day.
No luck, searching for at least half an hour. Disappointing considering it was found earlier today.
There have been a few DNF's recently.
The cache has had to be moved to a slightly higher location due to it now being more visible, as the rock that is was hidden behind has fallen.
As a result it is higher than you may expect and the difficulty and terrain rating have been increased to take that into account. It may be wise to consider reaching GZ from above, rather than below.

Found it with some help from logs - a relief after a couple of DNF in chatswood TFTC
Stopped off on the way home from work to grab this one. Very well hidden in a nice bushland location. TN but left a 1964 Australian Penny. TFTC.
We searched really hard to find it for at least an hour. First time trying this activity. so kids are bit disappointed.
Found it after looking around for a while. Lots of spiders around the cache so watch out. Dropped off TB Honeymooners.
This one was a little further away than I thought but what a great place.
Been over the bridge soooo many times...!
Good coords led me to an easy find, glad I approached from the top, thought I was to high and was looking for a way down when something caughty eye, CIH.

A fine evening for a walkabout. It was really dark by the time I got to this park so I searched by torchlight. After one wrong turn I was back on track and found my way to the cache's neat hiding place. TFTC, Biggles.
Came in by kayak - but snapped my rudder on the beach! Should be a fun paddle back!
It was a nice walk. We wouldn't had come here if it wasn't for this cache, so TFTC.
Enjoyed a nice walk with geoscoutdan and made a quick find after arriving at GZ. Great location TFTC
