08-Nov-20
Found it.
Nice drive up here to Gloucester River Camping Area.
Thanks

07-Oct-20
Visiting the area up from Campbelltown NSW for school holidays. We made our way along the dirt road and past many spectators who just glared at us. Kids enjoyed stopping to look at them close up from the car window. Finally made the end of the dirt road and the cache location. Quickly had cache in hands signed log and filled with swaps for the next lot of geocachers to come along. TFT

A quick find this morning, well, once we were no longer fixated on another object hidden somewhere else. Lots of horses and blue skies this morning.

18-Sep-20
This geocacher reported that the container is damaged.

17-Sep-20
Surprised This cache was located, but it had NO log.and the container in a very disintegrating state,
A new make shift container was used, a log sheet added, some swaps and the old ones as well..

23-Jun-19
Container in need of replacement but log is still dry. Even got to pat some resident horses. TFTC

Nice country drive to find this one..still needs a new container but double bagged so all good

30-Mar-18
Found this one after a excellent trip up to Gloucester Tops. As previous logs have stated the container is completely ruined but the large ziplock bag seems to be doing the job. Contents were dry which was surprising given the rain we had last week. TFTC.

03-Mar-18
The last cache for the day, before heading up to Gloucester River Campground. The cache was quickly found, but, as mentioned by several previous cachers, it is in need of a replacement container.
Noted that the cache owners have not logged on for more than 18 months, so they have probably lost interest.

12-Jan-18
Unfortunately cache is in pretty bad shape so we washed everything in put it back into a ziplock bag. Needs new container. Beautiful area though a saw so many lovely cows. TNLN TFTC

12-Jan-18
Urgently needs new container.

06-Jul-17
Found this cache on a return trip from Gloucester Tops. We had a fun drive through causeways and passing cows and saw some great scenery on our journey. We also a went for a great walk to see Gloucester Falls.

The cache itself was relatively easy to find but was a bit disappointing to see it in such poor shape. The container is smashed and the whole thing is a muddy mess really. Anyway, it was a good chance to stretch our legs after a long day in the car.

24-Jan-17
Find 1 for the day. Cache still in poor condition and in need of maintenance. A great spot. TFTC

21-Jan-17
A family drive today somehow we ended up out here. Made a quick find in the second place I looked. Existing container is shattered and contents covered in mud and soaked. Double bagged and placed a new log but strongly recommend a new container be put in place. Kids enjoyed playing hey cow along the drive. TNLN TFTC

21-Jan-17
See my log. Container is shattered and sodden which has been noted in previous logs. Please maintain.

29-Sep-16
We had a really nice drive out to this cache with only a short section of dirt, although that was enough to convince me the roads through the National Park would not suit the GeoMazda6 which has little road clearance. I had a short search at GZ, checking one option while MrsFish checked another place, and as usual she was right. As previously mentioned, the container is no longer usable and the log has gone, but I logged on the back of the stash sheet and wrapped the lot in a plastic bag before rehiding it. Visiting this area for the weekend only, we had no replacement items but perhaps another caller could replace the container and log. Thanks KehoeFamily for the hide and drive out there.

11-Nov-15
This cache was abandoned and it remaines where scattered everywhere. Cows trampling perhaps? Grabbed everything together, rescued a TB and put in a dry log paper. Original log was not found. The lit is broken. Hid it a bit higher.

24-Apr-14
Nice quick park and grab. So nice drivin through all the paddocks and farmland. Makes me want to move to the country. TFTC

found whilst touring with the family

27-Jan-14
Found with the kids on the way out of a nice weekend spent up at the Gloucester River Campground and the Gloucester Falls.

The kids made trades, and we replaced the cache back on an angle so no water will collect on the cracked lid when it finally does rain.

31-Dec-13
Plenty of dust with this cache. The container has a cracked lid, but otherwise all is ok. Someone stopped to ask if we were all good, perhaps we looked as though we had broken down.

The nail that the covering sign was hanging from is broken so cache clearly visible!

16-Feb-12
I decided on a quick detour on the way home from Gloucester and as I hadn't been along this road in years this was the cache of choice. It's a lovely drive but full of unexpected narrow bridges and a T-junction with no warning sign so take it slowly!
The tar road has been extended it seems and a mere 700m from the cache (as the crow flies) it runs out so there's just a little drive past Silverthorn estate to the GZ which is easily found. The cache was a bit muddy indicating that the recent floodwaters have been up over it. However the cache contents were dry. I signed the log - no logs since last September? I removed the food and the plastic L-plate which was taking up space so I could close it properly. It was only then I noticed the geocoin which I rescued.
Thanks!

Found it in this stunning part of the world. Loved the clue.

Picked up the trackable keys looking for their owner and left the "South Fork American River (CA)" Red Jeep Travel Bug.

The jeep has really enjoyed the adventure of driving over the Barrington Tops from Scone in the West and across many river crossings.

I hope someone comes along soon and takes you for further adventures.

Well this was my very first find on a pleasant sunny Spring afternoon. The Oregon 300 performed well and the cache location was spot on. Everything is still in excellent order. Cool

PS Took a break from fencing to pop over Cockadilly for this find. My local BFB is just up the road.

Found at 9.45am GAFF1. A lovely drive through this scenic country - all named after stoic English places for some reason. We had a bit of an adventure getting here - having to cross a river with 0.6m of water fast flowing over a causeway - it was a bit scary, but the wife was in the Patrol and that was enough to (ok - better stop now). Lots of cattle on the road which made it fun to get around.
This was a great spot to go to for the scenery along the way - thanks Kehoe Family.

09-Jul-10
Yeah we found it. Weather held for us with spectacular rainbows to boot. Had two previous no finds, so this was a nice way to end the hunt. Small folk thrilled with their swap - horse shoe & first aid taken. Thanks for the cache in some beautiful countryside Big Grin
