Finding a way across to the cache from where we parked (overshot slightly) added a little distance to the gz. Found the cache easily enough and noted the information contained therein. TFTC
Could have parked a lot closer than we did. A damp walk to GZ in the dewy grass early in the morning. Use a stick to clear the spider webs before reaching for the grab. Thanks.
Found this cache while heading to Fraser Island for a few days and then heading north and then outback Qld. A very nice neat hide
Thanks VernononDursley for the hide.

Left the caravan in Maryborough and headed out to Hervey Bay for a day of caching.
Found a variety of caches, this being one of them.
Cache in good order and well hidden.
Thanks for the cache, VernonDursley.

Doing the rounds of Point Vernon on the last day of our holidays. Easy find and a nice view pitty it was low tide as it goes out a long way here...TFTC
This was a beautiful park with an interesting cache although my retrieval method was not the one intended. Thanks for bringing me here VernonDursley
This was another quick find for us. The lid had come off the cache but luckily we were able to reach the actual container. We signed the log and made sure the lid was tightly fitted before returning the cache to its hiding place. We noted the code for later. TFTC.
Collected clue A and have stored it safely away, now if we can only find B. A little wet here today but a nice place. SL TFTC
Found it but nearly got carried away by mozzies before I could sign log. Great fun.
Had nice walk with Geosister, despite the rain. Had lots of fun. teaching a new cacher t.f.t.c. mozzies almost carried us away before we signed log
A quick drive to this one and we hopped out and easily spotted a likey place. Heaps of Mozzies today for us so no dilly dallying around, a qucick sign and we were on our way TFTC
Approaching this one with Ms Wig, and I spot a likely spot.... yup, there's a cache...ooooh!! quick sign before the mossies took too much!!
Thanks VernonDursley
Thanks VernonDursley
quick find TFTC! Geoson was very happy to be the first to sign the new log!
The Rite in the Rain paper is wonderful!

Passed through shortly before dusk, without success. Thanks anyway, Vernon Dursley.
Thanks to all for reporting the loss. Looks like the cache is the victim of fowl play as its gone twice in a short time. Will probably shut it down but will wait till I can get down there.

I had previously found this cache.
I recently noticed a DNF for this cache, and was in the area today so I thought I would check it out.
Unfortunately it looks to have gone.
The council have been here recently cleaning up shrubs and tree limbs, and they have stacked them right next to GZ.
Also when I entered the park a dog started barking.
I noticed the neighbour was checking to see who was in the park.
Maybe a couple of possibilities to what happened to the cache.
Cheers

Annoyingly this one has gone. Hard to believe as I thought it was pretty well muggle-proof. Will replace shortly.

12/08/2012 20:43 Yes, this is the first DNF on this easy cache, but I just checked the stats for this series and see that the simplest cache (this 1/1) hasn't been found for sometime. The companion caches VR2 & VR3 have been found since by others including myself. Further, no one has logged the mystery final since the July find of VR1. I suspect that folks are not logging a DNF on VR1 and thus unable to solve the final without the clue to 'A'. This is the first DNF on this easy cache which normally means I just couldn't see it, but considering the stats, I suspect it may be gone as GZ was simply empty. Like other I annoyed a great many ants but was thankfully wearing a jacket and gloves. A local dog started barking which finally stopped me looking. (I hate being beaten by a cache! - David.

Nice easy find in a beautiful shady spot. GeoJuno just kept wanting to jump in puddles though so we were quickly on our way. Would be a nice spot for a quiet picnic.

Our thirty-eight day of our honeymoon to New Zealand and Australia.
We waked up early at the rest area on the junction of Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay (S25 56.858 E 152 56.110) because we wanted to feed the wild dolphins at Tin Can Bay. After we feed the dolphins at 8 AM and taking some nice pictures of it, we drove back to the cache Evil Three as it has an interesting difficulty and terrain rating for us. We were prepared to take a whole day if needed, but it went pretty fast so we continued our way to Hervey Bay. En route we did some shopping in Maryborough. Although it still rained in Hervey Bay when we arrived we took our jackets and went outside doing the nice pirate wherigo and a couple of traditionals. At the end of the day we visited also an old cemetery. As we sigh for better weather we decided to drove up and we make our camp at the Apple Creek rest area where we had a delicious Dutch meal of collie flower, sausages and cooked potatoes.
We found this cache today at 3.50 PM local time.
On our way to the nearby located multi cache, we could not pass this one without having a look. From the road side the hint was already seen and so it was a very easy find. Also this bonus code was taken, but we did not saw in our gps which cache belongs to it, so we decided to leave it as it was.

Found with geoson on an afternoon of caching at Point Vernon. TFTC Cheers, CSCat.
Final cache of the afternoon with the geowife and our geotourist dr_h_jeckyll. An easy find, but a tough one to log when swatting all the mozzies. Recommend the aerogard for sure.
Now I have A, B and C, I will attempt to crack the Dursley Code in the morning before we head to the Gold Coast.

An easy find, thanks to all the recent rains, the mozzies and sand flys or midgies are rampant, bring the aerogard. All OK
Found with Bedmaker today.

So... YAY found my first one.

Could... Not find it... I checked every stump and everything within a 2 metre perimetre of each said stump.
While visiting Hervey Bay from Tassie, decided it was time to go look for a few cache's, found this one while Mrs R40s was knee deep into he book.

This is the easiest of the three caches in this series and a great story in the previous log by Roostaman in helping out a muggle who put himself in a stupid position and needed some urgent help. Well done.
OK, cache found and code again noted so one to go.

Found on a quick trip around town while staying just up the road for a few days.
A quick easy find. After I left here I went along the beach road & spotted a 2wd stuck out on the sand with the tide coming in. The owner begged me to take the 4wd out there to pull him out of the bog in the sand. I resisted but eventually realised it was safe to venture out where he was and a quick snatch strap later & he was safely back on dry land. A nice happy ending to the day. TNLNSL TFTC

Easy find then I took the time to explore the park further. Lots of birds in the beautiful trees. Thanks VernonDursley (Aren't you a muggle?)
Nice little quiet walk in to this one. Dylan, our 2.5 yo found this one by himself (under my supervision). The first in the series for us today. Thanks VernonDursley

This was the first of this series that I did today. This was a beautiful and tranquil little park. I was a bit concerned when I got to GZ - but then I spotted the beast. It is in good condition. I collected the clue and continued on. TFTC VernonDursley

Found at 15 24 with Marg. A nice quick find while some local muggles were looking the other way Pity the ants weren't looking the other way but we managed to grab and return it without being bitten. Cache OK and dry. TFTC.
This is one of the best protected caches we have found. The ants were still on duty.[^]
Nice easy find on our run out of Hervey Bay north to home. Log book needs replacement. Found at 1035hrs.
