Unfortunately no luck for us today.
It may be here and just well concealed although there has been a lot of bad weather recently so we wonder it it could have been washed away.
We'll be back.....

Nothing found today, perhaps the heavy rain over the past few weeks has dealt to it.
Ugh. 3rd straight DNF in a row for me today. The other two I think are missing, but this one is probably because I suck a geocaching today. Got to the spot and searched in some likely spots, and even found what I thought the hint was referring to, but no container. DNF.
Out for an early morning walk before work and seeking some outstanding caches on the peninsula. This cache definitely looked old and with a damp log so not sure if this is the old cache or the new?
Went to replace this box today, but couldn't find it. Left the replacement in its correct spot as per the hont, hopefully there isn't two there now.
Out and about with Mr 6 to pick up a few caches in Te Atutu which we had never been to before. On approach to GZ I had a feeling where the cache would be but my GPS was wanting to send me off into the bushes, so I went for a quick look in there before trusting my geosenses taking me back to where I thought it might be. A short search later and the cache was in hand . The inside of the box was pretty wet and the log was very damp so I dried it out as much as possible and replaced the zip lock bag the log was in so hopefully it will stay a bit drier now. I picked up three TBs which were actually logged as being in a different cache further along the walkway, TFTC!
Never been here before.
Tftc. The log was quite damp and I couldn't sign it properly

I'm out exploring Te Atatu with my caching buddy and her cousin. He'd had trouble finding this one but the clue made perfect sense to me and voila there it was as quick as that. We saw a chain that had become part of the tree on the way and a nice old house. A nice bridge and a lovely walkway, TFTC
I was with KRIST0F and actually, I was the one who found it!
This was the 1st geocache I've ever found! Hopefully more to come.

yes it's kind of humid and unpleasant, and not a logbook a owner would want to keep when full, but... it's in the nature, isn't it? tftc
Log needs immediate attention, very moldy and dripping wet. Otherwise very good hint. Thanks for the find (:
A nice easy find, this morning, but some caches, I think I'm getting a bit old, as the lengths we have to go to retrieve, with bad knees and a dodgy shoulder, omg !, I could with a side kick sometimes, that I can send in for retrieval Lol !, Log book Damp, but still writable with plenty of room, TFTC.
Had a good poke around, but not this time. Will go back soon having read other's comments ...

Temperature at about 292 Kelvins tonight.
Found on a walk with harisree. I wonder what the passing-by muggle thought seeing us perched on the boardwalk and tenting under a jacket to protect the logbook from raindrops while signing in
IN - Xmas dog
Thanks for the cache!

Tricky, but should have found this sooner! Dont over think this one, we could have made this much easier on ourselves! Nice hide!
TFTC Michael found this one while Vanessa and I were low down ...... Still looking!
Put a vigil at each end of the track then looked as low as I could and there it was, TFTC
Out today to finish the caches around the tip of the peninsula, which I started two weeks ago. did not spend much time searching for this one. As I was signing the log, I saw what the clue referenced. TFTC
Been working in the area and after a successful quick resolution to their issue I had time to continue our streak so decided to wander to this cache and attempt it.
Got to GZ and soon had the cache in hand. The log was damp and the container had some water in it. I emptied this out and also placed the log book in another plastic bag.

Awesome day trip with dad around the peninsula!!
So I looked under the likely spots and after a few minutes I saw something dash above me! Thinking I scared a giant rat out of its hidey-hole I jumped and screamed at it! -.-
Poor puppy - forgot it was a dog-friendly path o.o
Cache was soon retrieved there after

This took some hunting around as it was nicely hidden. Finally i spotted it - i'm sure i had looked there!! TFTC
Had me hunting around for a while but eventually found it. The cache is very damp. Got some funny looks from a couple of muggles walking past while I was signing the logbook. A great spot with a nearby playground for the littlies
I had to wait for the gps to settle but it was spot on when it did! Tftc! Very wet inside!
Counting down to our 900th find. Nice sunny day so perfect for a walk around the Te Atatu Peninsula shoreline. We got muggled here with a man & his dog quickly figuring out what we were up too. One feels they may have done some geocaching themselves. 5 more finds to go
A bit damp, changed one of the bags. Good hide though, I had already looked there and missed it so took me a while.
Found it after looking for a slightly embarrassing amount of time with SOFA. very wet. Needs maintenance for sure. Tftc. Nice to explore my own backyard. The GLS
Tftc there was a slug on it that gave me bit of a fright. Needs maintenance!
It's my first geocache. When I found it the notebook was soggy and the first person who found it found it on the 8/4/12 . I took a card and left a dall. Thanks for setting it up I found it fun.
I went out with my niece... Then my phone died... We looked and looked with no luck... We will have to come back to this one... e)
Nice to get outside in the breeze!
Cache was a bit wet - tried our best to dry it.
Thanks for the cache

Cache very wet, dried it out and double bagged log book. All quiet on walkway today.
Found but didnt bring a pen, dryed it out as much as I could but still damp
Found on return from the new cache right out on the tip on the peninsula. Looked for a bit, but eliminated the possible hide positions one by one. Thanks!
Decided after a very good breakfast in Mt Eden to head out and catch some of those rare sunrays and walk off the food. What a great time walking in the sun on the beach and enjoying the view topped with some geocaches. TFTC
Making the most of a beautiful sunny winters day after all the rain we've been having, a quick find, but had to be careful as lots of muggles were enjoying the fine weather as well.
Straight forward find. Got some funny looks as we sat on the side of the path while we carefully logged this one. Pretended we were resting from our arduous bike ride.
Found with Shadow's Friend. A very nice path for a walk. Thanks for the cache. PCNQ0D
Found it! So much easier in sunlight - a opposed to pitch black at night with a tiny keyring torch! Thanks for the walk and the cache!
So pleased to have found this one. Second time looking for it, and still took some time. Lost my sunglasses in the process but fortunately was able to retrieve them. Tftc!
You have to be quick for this one, I could see it between the crack, but walkers everywhere, TFTC
Tried this over a year ago, but found it this time. Cant believe I didnt last time. Oh well c'est la vie! All good, thanks.
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
See log below, we returned at a later date when the missing caches were replaced. For now we are enjoying the lovely Auckland views. Thanks again for the hide.

Walking between Chapman road and Karemoana drive (leaving a car either end). Because of DNF on other caches on this coastal walk, we are only going to look for two caches. Our plan is to enjoy the views and walk. Maybe ice-cream/coffee at the end. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here
Reading the comments, we thought this one would be a bit tricky and came prepared. a bit of searching between muggles walking past, and there it was.
