Unfortunately I have had to archive this geocache as I no longer live in the area so can no longer maintain it.
Another fairly simple cache to find. Didn't take anything but left a little something to represent my Island home.
Leg stretch on the long drive from The Cape back to Brissie. Thank you roaminfree for placing and maintaining this cache
[Blue]# 12545[/Blue] Found on our 2015 Winter escape trip to Qld.
Another perfect winter day for a drive from Townsville to Ayr.
Only just enough space to park inside the line with a van on the back.
Cheers from Wagga Wagga in the Riverina, NSW.
Thanks for the cache roaminfree,

Done a few caches in Charters and then headed for Townsville.
Stayed the night and headed home on Monday.

Together with Silli1310 we went traveling for a whole year. After we had explored South America and New Zealand extensively, we went on to Australia, where we wanted to discover the east coast on a road trip from Melbourne. Today we started from Bowen and headed towards Townsville. There was not much to see this time, so we were glad about every break. We already had the stop in Ayr behind us, but we were still missing this cache. Since we had time, we made another stop and were able to sign the logbook after a short search. Thanks for the cache.
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to Australia as well. We started in Tasmania, rented a campervan in Melbourne and went up the Eastcoast to Cairns. Then we drove all the way to the Red Centre. We finished in Darwin. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
After travelling along Western Australia we switched to the East Coast to travel from Cairns to Sydney. We quickly found that one and continued travelling afterwards....
Thanks for hiding and greetings from Germany!

The third part of our 6-week-journey in Australia took us from Cairns to Brisbane and also led us to this hiding place. Till now, we had such a nice holiday visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Alice Springs, Cains, Townsville and so many other interesting places – beautiful. Thanks to all the owners hiding caches for us tourists.

Found it on the way from Townsville to Bowen.
We found this cache during the first of our 5 week trip thru Eastern Australia and Tasmania. We startet in Cairns, now first direction Sydney. On the way we will search more nice locations on the way, geocaching helps us a lot.
Many thanks also for this cache and greetings from GPSnini (from Switzerland)

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there roaminfree. We found your cache "Welcome to Ayr" at 2:24:00 PM today.
This was our 7th cache find in a caching run of 11 Finds & 3 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9717.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was primarily to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached, (which has been going since New Years Day 2014.) Our "next closest" route took us to some wonderful & scenic locations.
This was a nice quick park-n-grab for us today.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

On our trip back from Magnetic Island this morning it was lovely to collect this nice quick one. Muggle Hubby had it in his hand in no time at all
Klettercache and me are making a 5 week holiday in Australia and our route leads us from Sydney via Brisbane to Cairns. From Cairns, we are going to take a flight to Adelaide and from this city in Southern Australia we will continue our trip by train through the Nullarbor Plain towards Perth, where we will fly back to Germany.
During this second week of our stay, we drove a rental car from Sydney to the North and the trip will end up in Cairns next week. We have to drive really a lot of kilometers but there is always a possibility for a short stop to search for some caches. Luckily, lots of caches are placed at the rest stops where we need to stop anyway.
This day, we were driving from Airlie Beach to Townville but in the beginning of the day we had lots of rain and unfortunately, the nice villages and its beaches along the road were rather grey today.
Later the day the weather improved and finding caches was much more fun than during the first kilometers of the trip.
This cache could be found easily during our drive. We stopped at the road parallel to the highway and quickly identified the location of the cache container.
Thanks to the owner for keeping and maintaining the cache.

[u][green]Dazzpete's Ayr Adventure[/green][/u]
We needed to add to our caching tally and wanted to explore a bit more of this region that we have only just returned to. We had decided to head to Ayr initially and then head west to Ravenswood and the BUrdekin Dam wall.
This was the second for the day and we made short work of making the find. It was geoD who spotted the hide after a few short seconds of looking the wrong way.

Cache is back in place with a new container, log & pencil. Please place back as you find it so water can't get in.
This one did originally start with a magnet in it, but there are geocachers out there that pinch them
Glad to see this one is still going strong after we originally hid it just over 4 years ago now.
Thanks roaminfree for your hard work in looking after it for us.

Disabled for some maintenance after 4 years of sterling work! Will be back Tuesday 6/8.
A quick find in plain sight. Very windy today so suspect this one may end up back on the ground. Could be a much better hide if it had a magnet in it. Thanks.
Jumped out the car to go get this one and there it was on the ground.. Thought no but yes it was with log... No magnet so obviously it has blown off the structure.. Wonder it was still there...
Signed the log and motored on down the highway towards Rocky..
Thanks roaminfree for the cache

First find of the day as we headed towards Rockhampton. Found it on the ground so signed and placed it back where it we guessed it should go but might need to be checked next time the owner goes past.
