Love the container

After a battle with the GPS, we stumbled upon a cute little hide. TFTC.

Decided to head for a wander before the CITO later in the afternoon, and as I like to go to where there is a cluster of caches I ended up in this area! The number of paths in the reserve were not being reflected by the GPS, so what I though would be a bush bash ended up not being one at all. A quick find at GZ and a very nicely constructed cache. Grabbed the TB that was here to move on. TFTC Lava12

Fun

Me and my dad went for a ride. The cache was cool.

Out celebrating the June long weekend my own way by picking up some caches and completing some adventure labs that I've had my eye on for a long time. I'm not down this way too often but I was staying at my parents so I made use of being closer while I could.

I wasn't going to go out today, until I got notified of the new Signal's Labyrinth this morning.

With my sense of adventure reinstated, I went where the roads lead. They ended up taking me around Happy Valley, Morphett Vale, Onkaparinga Hills, Reynella, Noarlunga, Port Noarlunga South, Seaford, Seaford Rise and Moana.

A total of 31 finds for the day and 5 DNFs, an 86% success rate.


Did a lap around a quickly spotted it. Very nice effort on the container.


Cache retrieved, I left my stamp at home so I signed with good old fashioned pen.


Tweezers, torches and other useful tools of the trade are always on hand for necessary cache retrieval.

As well as a first aid kit and gloves for when things get messy.

With drizzle and light rain beginning to make it's 'Constant' presence known, i began to hurry my last 2 finds to be found.
Hunkering down so to cover the log, i was SL in a jiffy to beat the impending downpour lol [:o]

SL at 11:28 on Sat 18 April 2020.

Loved the cache outer container, nice one. Re-hid with more natural cammo than when first found as it was exposed somewhat in it's hidey spot [:o]

This is a surprising and lovely little cache in an interesting spot. Mary got a little off track when the Koala grabbed her attention. Mark made the find, a cute container here. However, we loved the Avenue of Gums leading up to the original and beautiful farm house here.
We would have loved some history, but we made up our own story. We live on our own land, and know we would not like all the houses everywhere.
TFTC and a favourite for the Gum Avenue.

Made my way up the bank to this one, cache was easily found and is all good

Today I started off by collecting some caches around where I am currently living at craigburn farm and aberfoyle park. A nice morning out walking around the local area. I soon made a decision to head to the south east for the rest of the day and collect the odd cache here and there before arriving at millicent for the evening. Was great to be able to pick up an FTF along the way as well. Overall 27 finds for the day.

Such a happy little find thank u

An unexpected day away from work meant a couple of hours were available to collect some geocaches in the afternoon. Had a few on the list and managed to pick up 12 which was good for a day when i wasn't feeling the greatest. All caches looked for were found which was a bonus, don't like those pesky blue dnf faces. It was a glorious day and perfect for a bit of caching.

I remember when these houses and the old folks home didn't exist. We used to walk up to the horse paddocks and pat the horses next to the school. Cute cache container. The amount of cobwebs around worried me but i found a cobweb removing stick to aid my retrieval. No spider bites today. Tftc

I dragged out the deadly treadly and boy it was hard work. I haven’t ridden for such a long time.
I picked this cache because I have a TB to drop and thought this would be big enough.
Met up with a fellow cacher approaching in the opposite direction.
We looked in the obvious places and saw that someone else had logged a DNF today so we probably didn’t look as Long or as far afield as we would normally.

After going back and searching a larger area thinking my gps must have been wrong I ended up finding it back where i originally thought it should be. Very good hide. Put back exactly as i found it. Awesome container!
